About: I have spent my whole life with dogs, caring for our family dogs over the years and dog sitting for friends. I enjoy going on long walks and would love to have a buddy join me, big or small. I’m a graduate student and tend to be available either before 9am or after 5pm. I spend a good amount of time working from my apartment but sometimes have to unexpectedly run into the lab. I’m typically more free during the days on the weekend. I live in an apartment, and will not be able to host dogs here. the apartment is dog friendly so there is a chance i could bring a dog over temporarily, but not overnight. (though I wish i could!)

About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My family provides a loving, structured home environment, and dogs receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. Throughout the day, pets are part of our home environment. Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young children, I’m home and available to provide regular supervision, attention, and outdoor breaks as needed. We also have a large fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play and extra exercise time. In the evenings, we maintain a calm routine with another potty break, feeding, and time spent relaxing together as a family. About: My husband and I have raised 4 “rescued” dogs and one purebred during our 18 years together. We loved them all unconditionally and enjoyed all the time we had with them. We each had dogs in our prior 30 years of childhood and raising children. They were all amazing pets and we loved them as family. We had great friends who were able to take care of our dogs when we needed to go away and we are so thankful for that. I was never able to consider putting ours in a kennel. NOTE: I am very sorry to note that I have allergies so we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for care in our home. So sorry, we love them all, but I am unable to care for other breeds in our home. About: We’ve owned and cared for dogs and various other animals for most of our lives and have pet sat for neighbors, family, and friends over the years. We have experience with basic obedience and agility training and dogs of all sizes and ages. When it comes to dogs, we’ve owned Cocker Spaniels, English Pointers, and Labs. I work from home with a flexible weekday schedule, and while we have family activities some evenings and weekends, one of us is typically home. We currently own one English Pointer who enjoys having other dogs around. She loves to run and play outdoors and being a couch potato indoors. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I am now available for walks and drop ins, 12pm -2pm and 3pm- 12am. I'm glad to answer any questions you have. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! ( I am allergic to certain bulldogs, pit bulls, whippets and greyhounds) I am available from 12-2pm and 3pm - 12am Monday through Friday with the exception of Thursday afternoons which I’d be available from 5pm and onwards. I may occasionally bring my sons, they have grown up around dogs and are very respectful. Update: I am currently only available for walks and drop ins. My yard is fully fenced. Hank is kenneled if I leave the house. I also have two larger kennels and can accommodate kennel trained pups. My dogs will always be kenneled if I leave the house. For sleeping I usually follow what the client prefers but at no time would your dog be left unsupervised with mine. If your dog likes to sleep on the couch at night I will kennel my dogs. We are knowledgeable and aware of foods dogs should and shouldn’t have.
