About: Hello everyone! My name is Shelly, and I’m excited to care for and work with your beloved pets. I grew up on a dairy farm, where caring for animals wasn’t just a chore—it was a way of life. From milking cows to raising chickens and pigs, and always having a dog and numerous cats around, animals were at the heart of my daily routine. Those early experiences taught me responsibility, consistency, and the importance of attentive, compassionate care. Today, my husband and I run a small hobby farm of our own, where we care for horses, chickens, our beloved dog Luna, and many kitties. Animal care continues to be a central part of my life and is something I truly enjoy. I have also completed additional training and worked extensively with my own horses and dogs. Having been around animals my entire life, I have experience providing a wide range of care, including assisting with livestock deliveries (calves and swine), administering medications, and caring for animals with medical needs, including those associated with aging. I also frequently care for the pets and farm animals of friends and neighbors. I can't help but develop a special bond with each animal I care for. Working with animals is one of my deepest passions. I love to travel and explore the world whenever I can. Through my own experiences, I’ve learned how challenging it can be to find someone who is not only trustworthy, but also experienced and comfortable caring for both household pets and larger farm animals. Having peace of mind while you’re away is invaluable. My goal is simple: to give you the confidence to travel, work, or attend life’s events without worry, knowing your animals are safe, well cared for, and treated like family. I look forward to serving our community and building trusting relationships with both you and your animals! Currently, I am home full-time and available 24/7 from June through August, which allows for a very flexible schedule. I return to my full-time position during the last week of August. At that time, my availability will vary, with weekends generally offering the most flexibility. From September through June, my regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. I am committed to working with pet owners to accommodate their needs as best as possible and will do my utmost to ensure your pets receive the care, attention, and consistency they deserve. My pets are part of my family, and I provide them with the highest level of care, love, and attention possible. Their well-being is one of my top priorities. When caring for someone else's pets, I treat them as if they were my own because I understand how much our animals mean to us. I also recognize how important we are to our pets and that being separated from their owners can sometimes be stressful for them. My goal is to provide the comfort, care, and attention they need while maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. I make every effort to follow all instructions and preferences provided by pet owners to ensure their pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while they are away.
“Emily was absolutely amazing with my dog and just the sweetest and one of the most caring humans I’ve met. She sent plenty of pics and videos of my husky to keep us updated while we were out of town and did everything she could to ensure my pup was comfortable in her home. She was very good with communication and made sure we were on the same page for every step. I would 100% recommend Emily to anybody else looking for a dog sitter”

About: Oh my gosh, where to even begin... :) I started and built, Girl Meets Dog Pet Care Services - Chicago, from 2000, through 2018 (I’m relatively new to doing this in the Rover route, so most of my reviews are posted on other sites), when I became too ill with Lyme Disease, and needed to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family until I became well enough to get back on my feet. Now, I have little home in Spicer, MN, with a big deck and a fenced in yard. I work from home (fashion reseller) so it's me and my big sweet Ni'ta Girl, a 9 year old 100 lbs. of Great Pyrenees sweetness), little Henry (dog loving little 4 year old Bichon-Shih Tzu), hanging around here all the time, so we've decided it's time some other sweet kids get to come soak up this perfect dog loving life with us! I so miss having a house filled with 'nieces and nephews' for me to dote on and spoil rotten, so, if your kid deserves to be treated like like true children (or even better than that, in my book ;)), then this is where they belong. I had clients that called it 'going to camp' when they were coming to stay with us (it's just me, and my fur kids here. Note: due to Nita’s senior age, we don’t take any ‘high energy’ doggos at this time, but all others are welcome!). Since I work from home, I am home with my dogs and kitty 95% of the time, so I am able to provide all the love and company to visitor kids they could possibly want. I do daily walks and have a fenced in yard. They own the place. I just live here and dote on them, basically. :) I am almost always here (at most I'm gone for a 4 hour stretch 2-3 times a week).
“Katie did an amazing job with our girl. We have a cat who hates everyone but us, and Katie got her to warm up and accept some pets and play time while we were gone. She was attentive, professional, kind, and communicated well. I can’t wait to have her come watch Stella the next time we leave.”

“Abby was very quick to respond to my questions about my booking. I gave 3 cats; 1 6 yo female and 2 9 month old kittens. Abby sent me videos and pictures of all of them interacting and playing with her. I would definitely hire Abby again.”

About: I have had dogs and/or cats my entire life. My beloved Llewelyn setter passed in early 2025 and I have since moved into a homeowners association that doesn't permit pets so I can't offer doggy daycare but would gladly provide daily care in your home. I recently sold my business and moved to Willmar to be near family. Pet care will be my only obligation and it will be a pleasure for me to care for pets. I will provide care in your home where your pet is most comfortable and follow owners' instructions to provide consistency in your pet's daily routine.
“Heather was great!!!! She contacted me with problems and sent pictures. She took amazing care of our kitties while we were away. She made a stressful weekend away for us a little easier. We will definitely book her again!!!”

“Lindsey was awesome!! I hired her to take care of my 5 week old kittens + one adult cat for the weekend, and I’m so glad I did! She was punctual on their feeding times, administered oral meds, and was very communicative when I reached out — and even when I didn’t. Definitely recommend!”

“Monica did well with dog sitting 2 dogs of ours. I had a family memorial to attend to in Minnesota. I live in Iowa. It was great to use Rover to find someone in Minnesota to watch our dogs while we had to attend for this. Monica asked questions before we came to MN, about one dog’s diet and health issues. One dog had pancreatitis in the past and we had to be careful what she can eat. Monica was very knowledgeable about those issues, and that was reassuring to me. She sent a few pictures of the dogs activities, kept up to date about food, water intake, potty business and nap times to us. Sent us Rover cards on those details! If you need a sitter from Rover in Minnesota, check her out! 🙂🐾”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I naturally bring from working as an active CNA. I’m patient, observant, and dependable, and I understand how important trust and consistency are when someone else is caring for a loved one — including pets. I’ve had animals my entire life and currently care for two cats and three dogs of my own, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I pay attention to small details, respect each pet’s personality, boundaries and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I do over night shift for my job. I’m available from 8:00am to 10:00pm on the days I work. I’m available all day on my days off. For walks, drop in and so much more with every other weekend care to keep your pets happy, safe, and well cared for! I treat every pet like part of my own family. As a lifelong animal lover with two cats and three dogs, I understand that each pet has a unique personality, routine, and care needs. I’m patient, attentive, and gentle, providing playtime, enrichment, feeding, and potty/litter care while following your instructions carefully. I also provide updates and tons of pictures, probably too many!
“I am so Happy I found Abby. My Mercy has severe separation anxiety and Abby has helped calm that in every way possible. I recommend Abby over and over and over again! I can see that she really cares for animals and that she generally cares about my Mercy!!”

About: Already when I was 10 years old I had my first foster dog in the neighborhood . The owner went to work all day and so I went after school to her house and picked up Anuschka to go for a walk. We spent the whole day together and I always brought her home when the owner was back from work. For all trips beyond that I charge 50 cents per mile. For Meet and Greets in the owners home I’m charge 50 cents per mile. Your dog /cat is in good hands. I will take good care of your pet. Read my reviews for more information about me. Thank you!

About: I have walked, cleaned kennels, bathed my parents dog after he rolled in... well, 'something'... but he was very stinky and now clean and much better smelling! Have plenty of experience with kittens and cats! As well as animals with disabilities. I was recently laid off from my job so I have nothing to do but care for any and all pets 24/7 because I have disabled cats that need help every day. I have a nice big yard for the dogs to run/play and such. As for cats I have a poarch area that is enclosed so if they dont get along with other cats they will have their own space away to be as comfortable as they can be.

About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.
About: I have a lifelong passion for caring for animals, always having a beloved pet by my side. With years of experience as the go-to pet sitter in my family and friend group, I take pride in giving animals my full, undivided attention. I genuinely enjoy spending time walking and playing with all types of pets. I am committed to providing reliable and dedicated care for your pets, anytime and anywhere you need me. As a full-time pet sitter, I’m just one message away, ready to meet your needs. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I ensure they are well-fed, hydrated, and never miss a potty break. Daily walks and engaging playtime are always part of the care I provide. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, as it aligns with my passion for animals and my flexible schedule. Whether it's for my own pets or those I care for as a sitter, I dedicate specific times each day to feeding, walking, and playing with them. My focus is on providing loving, personalized care that meets each pet’s unique needs. I maintain the pet’s routine, following specific instructions for feeding, medication, and exercise.
