About: I’ve been taking care of my family's, friends, and others dogs since I was about 12 years old. I love animals with my whole heart and want nothing that to provide your pet a safe warm place to stay while you enjoy your vacation. I work full time during the week in the city, so I don’t get home until after 4pm. I spend most of my weekend outside playing in the yard or doing yard work. Week days I take my two dogs for a walk in the morning and at night, and find lots of time to play with them before bed. My partner and I work slightly skewed hours so the dogs are never home alone for more than 8 hours during the week day. We have cameras in the living room and kitchen to keep and eye on the while we aren’t home. When watching your dog I will send you updates as frequently or infrequently as you would like me too. I will treat your pets as if they are one of my own. Mine mean the world to me, so I will treat yours the same. If boarding at my home, your pet(s) must be okay with my two dogs. They are both friendly and love to play, but can also be couch potatoes. By the end of 2026 I will have a fenced in yard. I also live within 20 minutes of a Blue Pearl ER vet clinic.

“April was wonderful with Hurley! We received lots of updates and pictures so we knew he was being well taken care of our entire vacation. We were nervous leaving our little guy with someone we didn’t know but April put us right at ease! We will definitely book with April again!”

“Caitlin is warm and friendly with dogs and humans alike! She did an amazing job caring for our dog, he was happy and well-cared for the whole time. Her whole family is sweet and caring, and it was really fun to hear the stories of all the doggy adventures we missed while we were away. We will not hesitate to book Caitlin again and have already recommended her to a few of our friends.”

“Rachel took care of our cat Olaf while we were out of town. Olaf usually hides with new visitors, but he immediately warmed up to Rachel! She did a great job communicating (updates, pictures, etc.) and followed the pet care plan perfectly. Couldn’t recommend her services more!”

About: I’ve been around and helped take care of cats since I was a kid, but I’ve been a sole cat owner for 4 years now and I’ve had her since she was 8 months old. I have her on a daily feeding schedule that I’ve maintained for a few years now; I scoop her litter daily and deep clean her litter box 1-2 times a month; I administer monthly flee treatment and medication after she goes to the vet (and I overall keep up with her routine care); and I make sure she has daily playtime and stimulation. This is the level of care and detail I would provide to your pets because I understand pets are family. I’m excellent at following instructions and I’m adaptable to make sure your pet’s needs are met.

“We got a new kitten right before a trip out of town, and Jenna was absolutely wonderful in caring for our new family member! She was kind, communicative, and helpful throughout the whole process. I especially appreciated her guidance as this was our first time using Rover, and she made everything feel easy and comfortable. I highly recommend trusting Jenna with your pets! The cute updates while we were away gave us peace of mind and made being apart from our new little one a lot easier.”

“Danielle came over to take care of/ check on my super senior cat while I was out of town for a long weekend. She took care of all the things I asked of her to do for my kitty. I would rebook her if I ever need a sitter again.”

“We really love having Alisha care for our cat when we are out of town. She is the best and we love having someone we can trust with our shy cat. She sends the best pictures and takes great care! Highly recommend!!!”

“Brianna was right on time everyday and every evening to make sure Lucy was fed and walked and lived even though the weather was extremely hot all week. I loved the wonderful pictures she sent and the ongoing communication she gave me reassured me that Lucy was in great hands! Nancy”

About: From dogs to cats (and even a bearded dragon), I've done it all. I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your animal with someone you barely know so I'll do the following to make sure you can feel confident your pets are being well taken care of while you're away: - Multiple updates throughout the day confirming eating and bathroom habits - Pictures of the activities we've been up to - A detailed daily plan developed to make sure we never miss a beat with their normal routine Reach out so we can develop a plan that meets your needs! Im free for walks after work during week days which is typically around 5 PM (depending if I'm working from home or on-site). On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent. I will treat your animal like my own and can handle even the largest of them (including pullers and reactive dogs).

About: I am comfortable with caring for senior cats and those who need a little extra TLC. I am mostly retired and have plenty of free time available. We have lost two of our furry senior friends over the years. Little Boy passed at age 19 in 2025 and Angel passed at age 17 in 2019. Our vet said they lived such long and happy lives because they were so well-cared for and loved.

“Lauren is great with cats. She took care of my two for three weeks, providing daily visits, food, litter cleaning and play for 30-50 minutes a visit. They thought she was awesome.”

“I just love April and how she takes care of my cat! I’m so glad I found her. She has cats also so she always tries different fun things with my cat. I like that. And if I didn’t want April all to myself I would tell everyone to hire her for their pets…! She is great!”

About: Growing up with dogs, sitting for cats is a completely different experience that I really enjoy. I'm capable of applying medications, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning up spaces, feeding, and even just sitting around with cats of all ages so they don't have to be lonely while you're gone. I can stop in just to get food and water situated, or I can stay overnight to make sure they don't get in any trouble, whatever you need.
“Kayti has been a fantastic help watching our cats when we are out of town. She has been very reliable and communicates well. We appreciate the updates and photos while we are gone.”

About: I am currently a student at the University of Minnesota studying Animal Science and Veterinary Care, and I am looking to gain additional hands-on experience working with animals. Since I am unable to have pets where I currently live, I am excited for opportunities to care for and spend time with companion animals through dog walking and pet sitting. I have experience caring for family pets, as well as working with dogs in a doggy daycare setting. My experience includes feeding, walking, basic training, cleaning, and providing overall daily care. I am passionate about animal care and would love the opportunity to work with more companion animals while continuing to build my experience in the veterinary field. I am dependable, patient, and committed to making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am currently working part-time and taking the summer off from college, which gives me a more flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate additional time to caring for animals. I am hoping to gain more hands-on experience interacting with pets and would love the opportunity to be available and flexible for new clients and their scheduling needs. Through my veterinary studies, I have been learning about the basic needs and proper care required for animals, including health, safety, and daily routines. In addition, I have experience dog sitting for family members and working at a doggy daycare, which has helped me better understand the importance of safe, attentive, and compassionate pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I focus on providing proper exercise, feeding, supervision, cleanliness, and plenty of attention while ensuring their overall safety and well-being.

About: Our home in Brooklyn Park is ready to host your pet. Having had a Great Dane for almost ten years, we are ready to watch pets in any size range. We have no dogs or cats in the home currently, but are set up to give your pet the best possible experience while you are away! We have experience with senior dogs and dietary restrictions such as raw feeding, as well as giving medications as needed. Currently, both Jackie and I work from home, so there is always someone around during the day. We live right off of a walking trail, so daily walks will be no problem. We have a fenced in yard if your pup likes to be outside. Otherwise they are welcome to hang out with us during the day on one of many dog beds, or on the couch for cuddle time.
About: I believe every dog deserves a cozy, happy place where they feel loved and cared for. I’m attentive, responsible, and focused on making sure your pup has a calm, fun, and comfortable stay. From cuddles to walks to sticking closely to your dog’s routine, I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own. ♥️ I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. I also provide overnight care for partial or full week stays, depending on your needs. If helpful, I can also come by to pick up your pup from your home. My home includes two young boys, ages 8 and 6, who love dogs and are very comfortable around them, so your fur baby will be welcomed into a warm, family-friendly environment. 🐶 My yard is not fenced, but your dog’s safety will always be my top priority. When we’re in the backyard, I will keep your dog securely on leash and never let them out of my sight, so you can feel confident they are always supervised and cared for. My house is always pup friendly. Whether your bestie needs a bed of their own or prefers to cuddle with hoomans, I want to give them the best experience away from home possible 🐾

About: I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2023. I will care for cats, small to medium dogs, and small animals. Cats are my speciality. I am also available for dog-walking and dog mid-day let-out. As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. If I haven't had experience with a type of small animal before, please give me very specific instructions and I will thoroughly research the animal and its care before the booking. In my lifetime, I have lived with five cats and four dogs, was the primary caregiver for two cats and my many fish, and helped to care for the other animals throughout their lifespans. Growing up, I attended three summers of horse camp at Camp Kici Yapi and also had one year of English riding lessons. As a young adult, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, and eye drop medications, and have been vet-trained to give injected medication such as insulin. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. Please note that Rover may tell you that I am not available on dates when I actually am if another client is pending a Meet and Greet for a booking with any of the same dates, even if there are no overlapping time slots. Pet sitting is now my full-time job. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.

About: Thank you for considering me to provide care for your fur baby. I am available to provide drop-in care for your cat or small to mid-sized dog as well as walk your dog in your absence. I have almost always had a cat in my life. I had cats all throughout childhood and for 22 consecutive years as an adult. I usually have two furry friends in my home at one time. I have complete flexibility with my schedule and am happy to take requests on short notice. I am happy to provide meds, brush your feline friend, feed, change litterbox, play with, or whatever else your cat needs. Although I have never had a dog, I have cared for the dogs of family members when they traveled or were recovering from surgery. Dog care included walking, feeding, playing, and just making sure the dogs stayed happy and healthy until my family member returned home. I appreciate the trust placed in me and can't wait to meet your four-legged companion. I have complete flexibility with my schedule and am willing to take requests with just one day's notice. Your fuzzy companions will be in good hands while you travel. Just let me know what your pet need while you are away from home, and I will provide it. “Was very open with communication and accommodating. I hope to be able to use her again in the near future. I was very nervous of the stay but she was welcoming and filled with warmth that eased me.”

“Absolutely wonderful! Angela sent photos and videos everyday and provided me with so much peace of mind that my pup was in good hands. Her kids were fantastic with my pup and have mom so much love and cuddles. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!”

“We booked David for 5 days. This was our first time with him. We scheduled a meet and greet to interview him. Harley liked him right away. David was great. David grew up on a farm and has dogs since he was a kid and is kind of a dog whisper. We will use David in the future.”

“Melissa took wonderful care of our Toby. She is a total dog person and personalizes each dog's care to meet their needs. She kept us updated with photos and texts each day so we did not worry how he was doing. We were very happy with Toby's care. She went above and beyond what we expected and we will be booking with her again.”

“Nicole and her family are so kind and loving. They did such an amazing job watching Pepper when we were out of town. Nicole sent daily updates and photos, which were fun to see each day. I felt so comfortable knowing our pup was being well cared for and I was able to relax and enjoy our trip without worrying about her. Thank you so much, Nicole and family!!”

“This was my dog’s fourth stay, and once again they were amazing. They take such great care of her, and I always feel completely at ease knowing she’s with them.”

“Dave was wonderful! Kind, attentive, convenient and very warm and welcoming. He sent pictures to us, and our dog was very happy when we came home. Would definitely use him again and have recommended to family!”

“Angela does a wonderful job. I never worry about my dogs when they stay with her. She treats them well and they are so happy and well taken care of”

“Amanda was great!! She was very accommodating with us for drop off and pick up times.Shr was great at making sure our dogs routine was kept. Would definitely book again!!”

“Adam and Leang are amazing sitters! From the start with the meet and greet, they made sure to ask thorough questions about our pup. They shared their dog sitting experiences with us during the meet and greet so we were confident that our puppy would have a good time and be well cared for. I got daily updates including photos and videos. Our pup was happy to see us but did not want to go in the car! It’s clear he had a fabulous time here. We’ll definitely have him stay here in the future!”

“I was talking with Selah as we went home and she said she very much enjoyed her stay with Shelby and the family. Selah also said it was nice they had a fenced yard and a German Shepherd so she could play with one of her own kind. Shelby kept us informed as to how things were going. We were very pleased.”

“Melinda was fantastic with our 4-month-old puppy! She was very responsive and kept us updated with photos and messages. Our energetic pup loved her walks, and Melinda showed great patience, using effective techniques to ease her teething troubles. We were genuinely surprised that our puppy was willing to come home instead of staying with Melinda! She even saved our puppy's lost tooth for us. We would definitely rebook with Melinda and highly recommend her to anyone!”
