“Heidi did a wonderful job looking after our bottle baby Muffin (kitten) while we worked in office this week and last. At only 2 weeks old when we took her in, Muffin needed to be fed every 3-4 hours around the clock, and neither my husband nor I can work from home more than a day each week. Heidi came in clutch on the days we had to work in office, bottle feeding her, helping her potty, and playing with her during each visit. I had such peace of mind that Muffin was well cared for. About: My love of animals started at a very young age. I grew up on a farm with many dogs, cats, and horses. I look forward to caring for your fur babies as if they were my own. I know it can be difficult to leave them, but know they are in excellent hands. I work as a nurse so I do have some extra time off during the week/weekends. I am mostly available early mornings or the late afternoons/evenings. On my days off, I can be flexible! I am here to accommodate yours and your fur baby’s needs! About: I’ve had animals since I was born. Dogs, cats, chickens, and eventually convinced my dad of horses. We’ve had 2 litters of puppies, so I’m experienced in pups as well! I went to Texas for 3 months to train barrel horses and learned so much! I’ve worked alongside my equine vet for MANY years, and have learned a ton from her as well. My love for animals is what everyone notices about me. One of my very first words, was “horse” believe it or not! I am 21, have TONS of referrals, clean driving record, and have been trusted to stay in other families home while they are away:) My current job took away some of my hours, so I’m only working Tuesday-Thursday 2:30-6:30. That being said I have a lot of free time before work, and time after to do drop ins ☺️ I live at home with my parents, as for right now I do not accept animals in home. About: I’ve been working on the farm since I was able to walk. I’ve worked with numerous animals from dogs to cats to even donkeys and llamas. We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. Along the way, I took many classes to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. However, once I graduated, I was at a loss of what to pursue. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. I have spent countless hours learning through hands on experience, shadowing other trainers, signing up for seminars/conferences and taking courses through a Pet Professional Program. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. About: My first mommy gig I ever had was when me and my husband introduced Saydie, our fun loving, energetic pup to our siblings and friends. That was 13 years ago and now I have 4 human babies and Saydie is still my side kick! She loves being a big sister! I want to first and foremost want to let you know I don’t see pets as “just animals”. They are family, best friends and loving, feeling beings that crave attention and affection from the people who take them into their homes. I know how important my Saydie is, I know how important your special one is to you! In every activity listed, i will take pride and joy making sure your pup is treated with dignity and respect. If they have special routines I will make sure outlines are strictly followed while making sure they and yourself are comfortable with the schedules. I have been through all the fun (and sometimes crazy) early puppy years with my Saydie, feel at ease knowing I will help with my best ability to make sure your pup gets through obstacles unharmed and of course, always having a ton of fun in 5e process! I’ve been through potty training many times (6 to be exact, if you count my human babies! Ha!) and am aware of the little extra time needed for you to become happy and satisfied with their status. Potty breaks a few extra times for your little fur baby, especially if they are right in the middle of training process my yard is not fenced in but it’s not too small and there’s enough space for a long yard leash to have outside time and my neighbors are very respectful, they are already used to my dog, so there won’t be any issues there. I will come to your residence to check on them or visit them. I have NO criminal background and I know how extremely imperative it is that your home is respected and cared for. Everything will be exactly as it was when you left it and I will make sure your place is locked down safely and your little fur baby is managed before I leave. I want you to feel at ease knowing everything is being well watched while you can’t be there! I am up 6am-10p everyday for my own family, I would love to invite yours to visit when your away! My children are ages 4-9 and they absolutely LOVE all kinds of animals! They are very well educated in the proper ways to behave around animals and how to handle dogs with extreme care. They love meeting new furry friends! Call or check in anytime while your dog is in my care! I want to involve you as much as I can so you are comfortable with my services! I know how leaving them can sometimes stressful for not only you, but also them. They will know they are welcome in my home. Looking to fill my day time hours with bookings for pet care. About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
About: I've had two cats for 10 years. I also took care of a black lab while his owner was at work. I played ball, potty breaks, cuddles & plenty of love. Also pet sit for friends while they were on vacation for a week, cats. I'm currently unemployed at this time and occassionaly volunteer or attend events, mostly for a week or two, out of town. But for the most part, I'm available. I care for pets while the owner is at work and the owner keeps me up to date on services needed. I'm willing to house solely by myself for short or long term periods of time, 1 week up to a month.

My older kids and I are widely experienced with dog care, routines and safety. Because we have no resident pets. Your pup gets 100% of our attention all to themselves. I’m available Friday afternoons until Monday evenings, meaning your dog will rarely if ever be left alone.
