“Christine is a very sweet sitter! She communicated great prior and during the stay, and was flexible and understanding with me arriving a bit late to drop off and pickup due to traffic. She sent pictures often and made me feel like Ollie was enjoying himself and being well cared for. Her house is currently under renovation, so it was a little disorganized but she set up a great space for Ollie in the living room where he had lots of space to play and rest. She also gifted us a homemade dog blanket and a new jar of peanut butter! So sweet, thanks Christine.”

About: have been around cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a dairy farm, there were always plenty of cats and kittens around. You could often find me in the hay barn spending time with them. About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need. I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you! I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: Oh my gosh, where to even begin... :) I started and built, Girl Meets Dog Pet Care Services - Chicago, from 2000, through 2018 (I’m relatively new to doing this in the Rover route, so most of my reviews are posted on other sites), when I became too ill with Lyme Disease, and needed to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family until I became well enough to get back on my feet. Now, I have little home in Spicer, MN, with a big deck and a fenced in yard. I work from home (fashion reseller) so it's me and my big sweet Ni'ta Girl, a 9 year old 100 lbs. of Great Pyrenees sweetness), little Henry (dog loving little 4 year old Bichon-Shih Tzu), hanging around here all the time, so we've decided it's time some other sweet kids get to come soak up this perfect dog loving life with us! I so miss having a house filled with 'nieces and nephews' for me to dote on and spoil rotten, so, if your kid deserves to be treated like like true children (or even better than that, in my book ;)), then this is where they belong. I had clients that called it 'going to camp' when they were coming to stay with us (it's just me, and my fur kids here. Note: due to Nita’s senior age, we don’t take any ‘high energy’ doggos at this time, but all others are welcome!). Since I work from home, I am home with my dogs and kitty 95% of the time, so I am able to provide all the love and company to visitor kids they could possibly want. I do daily walks and have a fenced in yard. They own the place. I just live here and dote on them, basically. :) I am almost always here (at most I'm gone for a 4 hour stretch 2-3 times a week).

About: Already when I was 10 years old I had my first foster dog in the neighborhood . The owner went to work all day and so I went after school to her house and picked up Anuschka to go for a walk. We spent the whole day together and I always brought her home when the owner was back from work. For all trips beyond that I charge 50 cents per mile. About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

Any animals with special needs must be listed before time of drop off, and any specific dietary restrictions must be listed along with daily care, schedules set by owners with their pets to have during their care.
About: I've had pets my whole life, I watch the pets of my friends and family as often as I'm needed. I make sure they're fed, hydrated and go on walks daily. I also have experience working with blind and deaf dogs. I am on Medical Leave from work and pet care is what I am best at. I am free all day every day including weekends. I am best at caring for pets in other peoples homes. If I'm staying somewhere overnight i bring my own food, towels, blankets and pillows and i'm able to sleep anywhere including couches and floors. I will come to your residence to check on them or visit them. I have NO criminal background and I know how extremely imperative it is that your home is respected and cared for. Everything will be exactly as it was when you left it and I will make sure your place is locked down safely and your little fur baby is managed before I leave. My children are ages 4-9 and they absolutely LOVE all kinds of animals! They are very well educated in the proper ways to behave around animals and how to handle dogs with extreme care.
