We have a 2-year-old 75 lb Pyredoodle who LOVES to play and wrestle, so your dog will have a built-in buddy. We also have a fully fenced backyard for safe playtime and exercise. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. Our home is smoke-free and kid-free.

I have grown up around dogs of all sizes (from St. Bernards to Mini Yorkies), and love to give attention to all. I love walking, so why not do it with a dog!? I have volunteered with humane societys and local shelters, I have attended 2 hour dog walking safety and procedures classes for four years, and would walk shelter dogs biweekly in college. About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

We have had big german shorthairs, as well as miniature schnauzers so I’m accommodating to any size dog, and can easily take care of them. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. Along with my professional background, I've also cohabitated with and personally cared for dozens of animals throughout my lifetime.
