“Kristy is the best! We had the best weekend away knowing Izzy was well taken care of. We received tons of photos & Izzy went on several walks. Even when Izzy decided to be a handful, Kristy handled it with grace! 10/10 would recommend and definitely would re-book (if Izzy is allowed 🤣)”

“Noel did very well with Bailey. I was a little concerned about her being not in the country where Bailey is use to having such a big yard to run but Noel took her to the lake, dog park, fetch in the yard. She also had a nice playmate for her. I got several pics of her enjoying her time there and that was nice. I would definite use Noel again.”

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs most of my life and they always love to hang out with me when I'm around. My friends tell me when I come over I spend more time playing with their dog than I do hanging out with them. Always stoked to meet more fur friends! Currently working part time sharpening clipper blades and scissors for groomers so I get to see local fur friends often and I have plenty of time to hang out with them. I am very good at intuitively knowing when a dog needs something when I take care of dogs in their home, and I am also very attentive to the preferences of the owner for any special treatment their pup might need. I prefer to get familiar with a new dog before bringing them to my house but I can be an excellent host! I have acres of land out at my place and tons of groomed trails to take them around me.
About: I have many years of personal experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I love animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I work full time, but I’m available before 9 and after 5 M-F. I have all day availability on Saturday and Sunday. I might be able to go during my lunch if close by. I have a fenced in yard. I great responsibility to care for my animals. I make sure to keep dogs in a leash when walking them and to use caution crossing the street and around cars.

“Jessica took such good care of Piper! At age 14 it was her first time being left with anyone other than family in over ten years and we were all very anxious about it!! But she warmed up to Jessica quickly and the updates and photos with each visit ensured I didn’t spent my vacation worrying about how she was doing! She also went out of her way to check on some things around the house and in the yard when there was a storm with very high winds and a brief loss of power. We will definitely have Jessica watch her again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for atleast 10 years, for friends and family. I’ve become a pro walker and bather for furry friends. I’ve worked with seniors to puppies. I’ve given animals meds before as well! I’m currently working on my own hours as I please so I’m free for any walks or play time or just some good pets and treats! I have a big home with a big backyard, that isn’t fenced but I do that ties for pups that may need it but I don’t leave dogs unsupervised for potty time or playing fetch in the yard. I also have a kiddie pool for the pups that enjoy it like my lab puppy does! We love to take hikes around the area too so If your pup is up for it so am I! I do have 2 small dog crates for about 10lbs pups, and then I do have a crate for about a 70 lb pup if needed for anything. I also do have a lake property on the range with a dock that is available to use for hot summer days for pups that may be interested in jumping in and swimming!

About: I just moved to Virginia in December with my 2 cats, I’m excited to learn the area and meet friendly faces and cute critters! Currently working to finish my bachelors degree in communications. I have fostered dogs for 4 years through Save-A-Bull and Ruff Start Rescue with my family. All of which have been pit bulls or pit bull mixes. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes ranging from Pomeranians to Great Danes and have loved all of them :) I've also cared for goats, sheep, turkey/ chickens, cattle, reptiles, small rodents, and fish so I'm comfortable with all animals! I have been passionate about animals all my life and started pet sitting back in 2012 as a tween for family and friends. Once I realized how much I enjoyed being able to care for animals I decided to make it my side job through high school into college. Hard to believe it’s been 14 years now! I’ve done everything from giving senior dogs their meds in hot dogs to taking care of small farmsteads. I'm able to give oral medications if needed and can work with dietary/ movement restrictions. I have taken care of special needs dogs (diabetic, epileptic, post surgery). I haven’t given intravenous medicine, but I am certainly willing to learn with the right client. I'm looking forward to filling some of my free time engaging with dogs! I love going on walks, but I also love playing fetch and tug of war. I am also more than happy to watch any other critters you may have- barn animals included :) I’m still settling into Virginia after moving away from the cities so I haven’t established a set routine, especially since I haven’t found a day job. I can’t be gone for too many days since I have cats of my own and it’s not fair to my roommates to be saddled with them. I always follow the instructions given to me by my clients. Whenever I am unsure I always ask for clarification. I’m extra careful about opening and closing doors, keeping objects of of reach, and keeping up with day to day schedules.
