About: I've had cats pretty much my whole life. For the longest time, I preferred them over dogs! However, I'm to the point in my life where I love both dogs and cats equally. 🥰 When I worked at Ames Pet Resort in Ames, IA, they offered lodging for cats so I took care of many different kitties. From mean, to anxious, to super lovey dovey ones! I've also given them their medicines, though needles are a little tough for me with cats... but I'm very willing to learn! I currently have my own house cat and she's my little baby. 🥰 She loves to snuggle with me right away in the morning and right before bed. I got her from a farm down in Iowa and it took her a few days to get used to me and my dog, but once she was used to us, she was following us around the apartment everywhere! And now that I live in a house, she has a whole house to explore and a new kitty to play with! After I got Athena, I got her spayed and updated on her shots. She didn't like taking her medicine, but she let me do it anyway, which I was super thankful for at the time since I worked a lot at the time. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: I work full time during the week. Monday- Thursday visits must be before or after work ** I have owned dogs and cats all my life, ranging from puppies to seniors. Currently, I have a dog and a cat, and I know how hard it can be leaving them when you go on vacation. But I love going for walks myself and feel comfortable administering medications when necessary, so know that your furry friend is in good hands. I am typically very available but would like at least a day or two's notice about needing pet care. I can also help with puppy training such as sit, stay, lay down, kennel up, and even high fives. These are just some of the tricks my dog knows as well. I have had multiple dogs of different breeds (mutts, Doberman, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Weimaraner, Huskies, etc). I work full time during the week, but I still do morning and nightly visits after work ! I keep my availability up to date on the app as well. More than happy to do dog walks during visits, on weekends and most holidays. I treat your pets like they were mine. I love to have a care guide and meet and greet before the visits to help learn what your pets are used to so so can keep that as consistent as possible. I work full time Monday-Thursday and typically keep my schedule up to date regarding weekends. I would be available before and after work during those days with more flexibility on weekends. I care for my clients pets in their home just like they were mine. I am always available through text and can respond within a few minutes! I will give your pet(s) all the attention they need - all the pats and cuddles they could possibly want. I have a very active dog so I’m used to spending lots of time outside already! Whether at the park, just in the backyard, or going for walk/runs. My mother has trained dogs in the past and I have plenty of tips and tricks from her to be able to handle pretty much any dog - no matter how difficult. I love cats, I am allergic to ones with longer fur though so I would prefer not to spend too much time around them! I have a domestic shorthair that I’m perfectly fine with though. I’ve taken care of neighbor’s pets since I was a kid and really love any that I get a chance to love on. We have a large fenced yard for boarding! I’m a stay at home mom, so I spend all day playing with my son and daughters, two dogs, and cat. My husband works from home and can care for our animals while I care for yours! If you require my services between 8-4pm, there’s a chance I might need to bring my kids with. While inside your home they can stay in their stroller - I won’t let them roam! But because of this I do request that your pets are kid-friendly during those hours. After 4pm I will be alone though! I’m able to care for your pets pretty much however you need - feeding, walking, playing, or some light training. I love when people leave me detailed instructions so I can do my best to treat your pets exactly as you would!

I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: I have had at least one dog to take care of since I was 10 years old, and my extended family has always had numerous additional dogs. I feed, give water to, and entertain multiple dogs, of multiple sizes, on a daily basis. I have been responsible for a variety of breeds, as well as both indoor dogs and outdoor farm dogs. Raising sheep and working on horse/cattle farms throughout my middle and high school years has taught me how to care for all kinds of animals, big and small. About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge.
