She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

About: Hello pet owners! Our names are Madisen & Kyle, and we absolutely love dogs. We know how difficult it can be to leave your home and pets for any length of time, and our goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away. We truly enjoy spending time with pups and love meeting families in the Duluth, MN area. A little about us: we’ve both grown up with family dogs of all sizes, from small to large breeds. We have a 2-year-old, 15-lb female Cavapoo named Maasy. She is very friendly, loves other dogs and children, and does wonderfully welcoming new furry friends into our home. We offer boarding and 1:1 care in our home or house sitting and overnight stays in your home. Our home features a big, beautiful yard and is located in a neighborhood that’s perfect for safe, enjoyable walks. We’re very active and are happy to provide 1-4 walks per day along with plenty of outdoor playtime. Kyle works remotely, which allows us to provide attentive, 24/7 care any day of the week. Madisen is currently a Occupational Therapy doctorate student at MUSC and is completing her final clinical rotation at a nursing facility in Greenville before taking boards this spring. Outside of clinical rotation & studies, she loves spending her free time with dogs - its the ultimate stress reliever! We like to set up meet and greets with any client beforehand so we can fully understand how to best care for your pet! Seeing your home beforehand or having you over at ours can help us better understand your pets typical routine before we begin caring for them, and gives them a chance to get to know us before our time together.
About: I've been around pets my whole life from growing up with 3 dogs to adopting a sweet black lab Diamond as a young adult. Diamond passed away in April of 2023 and I've since got my dog fix dog boarding for friends, family and Rover clients doing one of my all-time favorite things - running, adventures and play with dogs! I pride myself in sending lots of photos and updates with consistency, taking time for a daily walk and run (if they're up for it!), and providing a safe space (no other animals or kids living in the house, fenced in yard, dog-proof everything, etc...). I have a flexible schedule, I try to run daily anyways, and my house is dog-proofed with a fence. I'm ready to provide a safe, comfortable and fun space for your pet to get quality care and exercise. I live in East Hillside Duluth with great access to paved and off-road walking/running routes. My house has a fenced in yard and I have cultivated a pet-proof home over the years. I am a strict on-leash walker/runner.

“Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

About: I have over 7 years experience supervising at dog daycares and boarding facilities in Orlando, the Twin Cities and Duluth. I was also an Animal Care Officer for the city of Minneapolis where I took care of pets of all kinds. I would love to spend time with your dog(s)! I work from home so I have lots of time to take care of and spend time with your pup(s). We enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog and going on daily walks. We have a fenced yard along with two friendly dogs, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and a Heinz 57, 25lb bundle of joy. We also have a family cat who isn’t bothered by dogs. Our dog is crate trained for nights but can be either free or crated when we are away, depending on your preference.
