The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I have been around cats since I was just a baby. I might be a little biased but I can’t get enough of cats! Growing up my mom had a Maine coon, he was the reason I fell in love with taking care of animals! Once he got old I would help administer medications. I also used to watch my neighbors cats that had some medical issues. I would have to give them pills and also eye drops. So if you have a baby that needs some medicine or extra care, I am more than comfortable. I have three cats of my own, they are my world! So I understand how much your fur baby’s mean to you!

I had 2 liter of puppies from my dogs (1st liter was 10 pups, 2nd liter was 5 pups) and was able to raise them well for their furever home. About: I’ve taken care of many different dog breeds ranging from small to large. I have two of my own dogs as well as help take care of my family and friends dogs when they are gone! I currently am a college student looking to spend my free time with animals! I am usually available Monday through Friday and some weekends if I know in advance! About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life I raised 8 puppies in my home when my dog gave birth and it was the best experience of my life. I love and take care of dogs like they are my children and make sure they get the best care. I am also taking care of my own dog who is 14 years old. I also enjoy going on daily walks outside which is perfect when needing to take dogs on walks and take care of them. “Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. Definitely booking again (already have the reservations). It’s nice to know that my 11week puppy has a loving and caring place that takes care of him while I am at work.”

“I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

About: I worked at a credable doggy day care and boarding facility for 5 year (muddy paws resort). I have been around dogs my whole life and have my own dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes small to HUGE! And all sorts of temperament from happy go lucky to very shy to more fear agressive dogs. Through my employment there i completed courses such as knowing dogs 101 and 102 and a cpr certification course. My personal dog is an Australian shep x Rottweiler mix and knows many tricks and is very obedient, this has come from her breed and my passion to learn with her. About: I have grown up my whole life around animals. When I was younger, I had smaller animals like hamsters and rats. In high school, my dad did get an English bulldog and he was my best friend! When we first brought him home, I took him to training and I loved every second of it! I would watch him almost every weekend for my parents. My sister also had a dog, her and I worked opposite schedules so I would take care of him during the day. I also took him through training as a puppy. I currently go to school for 2 hours in the morning so my schedule is very very open. I am also only working part time. I crate all of my dogs so that is not and issue for me! About: We are a cozy, warm, loving family of four who love animals! I (Jenny) rescued my first dog, Summit-a black lab mix many years ago. He was with us over 14 years and we loved him so much! We just recently adopted a kitten a little over a year ago. She is a tuxedo house cat named Smokey. Drop-in visits and dog walking are what we are able to offer as of right now. We may bring boarding back into the mix when Smokey is a bit older. Jenny works part time and has time for drop-in visits as well as dog walking. If allowed by the pet parents our kids (10 and 12) would also love to help out! We play with Smokey in our home with balls, springs, socks! I am happy to pet and play with your pet. Feed, let out, clean litter boxes, and taking leashed dogs for walks.

So we decided to book with a home daycare to ensure he received more personal care. They did an awesome job with Jake. Seemingly, he was treated like their own with lots of cuddle time. They provided daily updates and included cute photos. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely use them again.”
“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

My husband and I both work full time, but we still have great coverage for pet care throughout the week. My husband works from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows for frequent walks, breaks, and plenty of attention during the day. My schedule is 7:00am–3:00pm, so I'm usually home earlier in the afternoon, and my husband works 8:00am–5:00pm. We provide a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment for every pup we host. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor play, and our friendly 8‑year‑old golden retriever loves having company and helps new dogs feel comfortable right away. Inside, dogs have plenty of space to relax and be part of our daily routine. We always supervise outdoor time, keep our home secure, and make sure each dog gets the right balance of attention, structure, and comfort. Your pup will be cared for like family and will feel right at home with us.
