“Chris has been very communicative. She sent frequent updates with pictures about how our little lady was doing. She was very accommodating to our little dog’s needs. We ran into a few hiccups returning from the airport during bad winter weather and Chris was incredibly understanding. Yes, Chris made my experience very pleasant. Yet, most importantly after 9 days I came home to a happy, well adjusted puppy! This speaks for itself. As a Shorkie our puppy is sensitive to separation anxiety. Being with Chris she definitely got all the attention and love that is used to getting at home. I am so grateful for having peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of while we are traveling. I will definitely check with Chris first when looking for boarding our little lady again.”

About: I’ve had dogs around the house since I was 2 years old and have had many other pets ranging from rats to hedgehogs! I been able to adequately take care of each for as long as i’ve had them! I am currently on summer break from college so I have plenty of time to walk dogs and get in the time they need outside! I was able to take my elder dog on walks everyday to keep him active and get him his time outside. I also helped around the house with taking care of him, playing, and feeding him.

I grew up with bigger dogs most of my childhood and even had a cat for a short time! I love all animals, big or small. I am a student who is quite involved on campus. About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.
About: I work full time during the week. Monday- Thursday visits must be before or after work ** I have owned dogs and cats all my life, ranging from puppies to seniors. Currently, I have a dog and a cat, and I know how hard it can be leaving them when you go on vacation. But I love going for walks myself and feel comfortable administering medications when necessary, so know that your furry friend is in good hands. I am typically very available but would like at least a day or two's notice about needing pet care. I can also help with puppy training such as sit, stay, lay down, kennel up, and even high fives. These are just some of the tricks my dog knows as well. I have had multiple dogs of different breeds (mutts, Doberman, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Weimaraner, Huskies, etc). I have experience with successful training of my own dog's basic obedience skills (sit, stay, heel, eat, touch, shake, etc). Have taken care of many other dogs, reptiles, and fish for people in my life. I am especially interested in helping reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I work freelance so I set my own schedule for the most part. Completely flexible for clients needs. A few weeks of the year I'm booked for longer gigs but that is easily identifiable up front for potential clients. Care for clients is completely dependent on their needs and comforts. I will always defer to the client for what is needed for them and their environment. Open and honest communication is the foundation for care and comfortability.
About: When I was little I used to rescue dogs from the street and take them home to bathe them and feed them. My mom helped me find them a house or sometimes we stayed with them. I know the importance and respect they deserve. I work and take care of my house, currently I don't have any time to invest in anything other than that. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have hosted over 30 foster dogs for our local Humane Society. Some of our foster mamas have even given birth to their puppies at our home. About: I have some experience taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats, but most of my care experience comes from the animals I grew up with in my own home. I grew up with bigger dogs most of my childhood and even had a cat for a short time! I love all animals, big or small. I am a student who is quite involved on campus. I may have some availability during the day, but mostly in the evenings and on weekends. When at your place, I am comfortable taking your pups on walks, playing with them inside or outside, and doing really anything else they may need. I also love playing with cats or cuddling up with either of your pets on the couch if they just need some affection while you’re away.

About: I work full time during the week. Monday- Thursday visits must be before or after work ** I have owned dogs and cats all my life, ranging from puppies to seniors. Currently, I have a dog and a cat, and I know how hard it can be leaving them when you go on vacation. But I love going for walks myself and feel comfortable administering medications when necessary, so know that your furry friend is in good hands. I am typically very available but would like at least a day or two's notice about needing pet care. I can also help with puppy training such as sit, stay, lay down, kennel up, and even high fives. These are just some of the tricks my dog knows as well. I have had multiple dogs of different breeds (mutts, Doberman, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Weimaraner, Huskies, etc). I work full time during the week, but I still do morning and nightly visits after work ! I keep my availability up to date on the app as well. More than happy to do dog walks during visits, on weekends and most holidays. I treat your pets like they were mine. I love to have a care guide and meet and greet before the visits to help learn what your pets are used to so so can keep that as consistent as possible. I work full time Monday-Thursday and typically keep my schedule up to date regarding weekends. I would be available before and after work during those days with more flexibility on weekends.
