She would ask questions about his behavior to see if it was unusual and asked how we would handle it so that she was responding to Oscar in the same way we would. She wanted things to be as normal as possible for him. As she described his bedtime ritual I knew that Oscar felt safe and loved because he doesn’t snuggle up like that with just anyone. Oscar even gave her a snuggle good bye when we left. I will use Kristi for all of our short and long term care needs. About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since high school. I have dog sat at many homes and have had dogs in my own home as well. I am currently working full-time but do work from home on Fridays. My partner works 0.3 miles from our home and comes home for lunch everyday. I am home from work around 5pm everyday. I have two fur babies that can keep your fur baby(ies) company while you are away. They are very friendly towards other dogs! We have a big back yard to play. I've also loved and cared for cats into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, cats with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I love how each of their personalities is so different, and they absolutely have their preferences. I respect all cats and especially love the grumpy and spicy ones. About: I have grown up with pets all my life, and even went to Vet Tech school for 1 year. I had a diabetic cat so I am familiar with giving medicine and injections. I work full time from home during the day. I take breaks every hour or so. We are typically home in the evening and weekends to love and play with your animals as well as our own. I have a fenced in back yard and a playful dog to keep your fur baby company while you are away. My dog no longer needs to be kenneled when I am away or at night. I can accommodate whatever you are most comfortable with.

About: I currently have two pomskies, a russian blue, and a black cat. I also had two 80 lbs Weimaraners, a black cat, and a teddy bear hamster growing up as well as taking care of all the neighbors pets when they would go on vacation prior to starting Rover! I now have interacted with almost every size of dog and multiple cats through my services. - I was a dual-sport athlete in college where I did gymnastics and track, and I currently weight lift. I preface this because some pet owners in the past have said I appear to be a smaller girl but I am stronger than I look and have walked/taken care of big dogs and very high energy dogs😂 - My services include: •30 minute dog walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood to give your pet some fresh air and exercise during the day. •30 minute drop-ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of love to make sure your pet is comfortable while you’re away. You may book two per day! •I’m always open to any extra needs or modifying for your situation!! I’m currently in law school and have class mid-day from August to May. I have mornings and evenings/nights open for drop in visits and dog walking during these months. From May to August, I work very early mornings 5x a week. I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. These aren’t mandatory to be able to book with me, just solely a comfort thing! •I remember the way pet items were stored in your home and return them back to the way they were after I’m done using them. •I always message you and ask for permission prior to entering any other part of the house that’s not necessary to the service. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂

About: I absolutely love dogs, grew up with a Shih Tzu Poodle and now my mom has a pure bred Shih Tzu that I steal from time to time (see picture). My boyfriend’s family has an English setter and a blue healer, so I love hunting/high energy dogs as well! I do work in office Mondays, Wednesdays and some Fridays which is about an hour commute. I am usually gone from 7:30-5 ish, so dogs who can be alone for that long work out well. I work fully from home Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can let them out whenever on those days. About: I have a real love and passion for all animals. I have special skills in diabetes care for my sisters elderly cat and I have trained my own pups (Shar pei, lab pit bull mix and chocolate lab). I am currently a stay at home dad looking to make some extra money. I have pretty open schedule Monday- Sunday starting at 8am I am available. I currently have a miniature schnauzer and I let her outside hooked up to a chain and I go on multiple long walks around our neighborhood. I could easily crate your dog if that is what you prefer. I do keep little Buttons crate over night but that is by Buttons preference (she just loves her crate) and she roams free during the day.

About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)

You set how many updates you’d like to receive when away, but it’s standard for me to write a document of all activity and behavior after each of my visits for you and your vet to reference at any time. I’m happy to do initial home visits to make sure care works for us both.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have always had a deep love for them. When I was little, I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bravo and a Tortoiseshell cat named Jayden who were a huge part of my childhood. Bravo was very protective of me when I was a baby and young girl, and Jayden was my playful little companion… we would spend hours playing together and just being in our own world. I currently have an English Springer Spaniel that I’ve had for 7 years, and caring for him has given me a lot of hands-on experience and responsibility. I’ve also participated in dog shows and have experience with showmanship, training him and working with him especially when he was a puppy, which taught me a lot about consistency, patience, and understanding dog behavior. My daily routine includes multiple walks a day, feeding, grooming, bath time when needed, and making sure he’s happy, active, and well cared for. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with dogs of all energy levels and personalities. I’m reliable, attentive, and I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time outside, so walks and drop-in visits feel natural for me. I always treat every dog like they’re my own and make their comfort and safety my top priority. I currently don’t have a fixed job schedule, as I may be called in for a golf cart girl position in mid-July or mid-August. I’m able to be flexible with my availability depending on when I’m needed for that job. I also have a planned trip from July 17th through July 21st, during which I will be unavailable. I understand how important trust is when it comes to caring for someone’s dog. I always make sure pets are treated with patience, kindness, and consistency so they feel safe and comfortable with me. At home, I care for my own dog daily, which includes regular walks, feeding, grooming, playtime, and bath time when needed. I pay close attention to his routine and behavior to make sure he’s healthy, happy, and well cared for. Because I’ve been responsible for my own dog for years, I’m very familiar with creating a calm, positive environment for animals. I always prioritize safety, clear routines, and giving dogs the attention and care they need while their owners are away.
About: Dog lover extraordinaire, I live for belly rubs and ear scratches. My talents include giving kisses, playing fetch, and hide-and-seek. While I enjoy spending time with my human friends, when it comes down to it, I'll always choose cuddling up with a furry four-legged companion. I'm an empty nester who works from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. Your fur baby will be loved on with all that I have! Your house. Your pet. Your way. You can trust I'll care for you dog just as carefully and lovingly as you do- or better! (We'll let the doggy decide.)

About: I grew up on a farm where animals were my first friends. I’ve had pets my whole life and as a parent, my kids quickly learned that I could never say no when they wanted a pet. We’ve had fish, cockatiels, hamsters, parakeets, guinea pigs, cats, and a variety of dogs in our home. We currently have a cat and two German Shepherds. My weekends are mostly wide open and I’m available any time during weekdays since I’m off during the summers. I would love to help take care of your furry friends! I am a teacher so I’m available any time during the summer and usually wide open on weekends for drop-in visits or dog walk dates. I am unable to watch your dogs in my own home, however. I would just need a day or two notice. I am very dependable and trustworthy. I would be happy to come to your home, play and cuddle with your pets, give them a break from their crate, feed them, walk them, play outside, etc… whatever you need to make your life easier and your pet’s life better!

About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
