“Chris has been very communicative. She sent frequent updates with pictures about how our little lady was doing. She was very accommodating to our little dog’s needs. We ran into a few hiccups returning from the airport during bad winter weather and Chris was incredibly understanding. Yes, Chris made my experience very pleasant. Yet, most importantly after 9 days I came home to a happy, well adjusted puppy! This speaks for itself. As a Shorkie our puppy is sensitive to separation anxiety. Being with Chris she definitely got all the attention and love that is used to getting at home. I am so grateful for having peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of while we are traveling. I will definitely check with Chris first when looking for boarding our little lady again.”

“Our dog has stayed with Emily and Kajae a couple of times now and we have always had a great experience! They are great about sending updates and pictures. They are also very accommodating and easy to work with!”

“Jackie took amazing care of Daisy while I was away for the weekend. She came back happy and calmer than I expected as she is a very high anxiety dog. Definitely will be using Jackie’s boarding services again! Thank you so much☺️”

“I believe this was the first time Kendra watched a cat before. I was very pleased. She contacted me when she had questions/concerns when she felt Charlie wasn't eating the way she thought he should, which is huge! This was Charlie's first experience with dogs and he seemed to settle in well. They were calm with there 1st introduction which shows that they are well socialized. After the third day there it seemed that Charlie ruled the roost tormenting the dogs...made me chuckle 😃. I will definitely use her in the future!”

“Jon, Jessica and family took such great care of our golden! He came home very worn out, so we know he was loved on, well taken care of, and very active while in their care! They sent us pictures of our golden while we were gone. Great communication and very flexible! We will be using them again!!!”

“Sydney was easy to work with. She had a large fenced backyard where my dogs got to run. They were very tired after pick up so I know they were well exercised which is great for my pups!”

“Renee was very communicative during our dog's stay and even wrote up a "report card" that we received when we picked up our pup! Our dog returned to us happy and was clearly taken care of during her time in Renee's home. I will recommend Renee to anyone needing pet care!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Amy & Greg! Communication was fantastic, drop off and pick up were seamless and most of all, they took great care of my Lola! Their pups at home are so sweet and it sounds like their whole family enjoyed having another furry friend to take care of. I would highly recommend and definitely will be using them again.”

“Heather was great! Her resident dog was also a great companion for my pup. Same age and demeanor, very chill. Great fenced in yard. Sent me updates and even took Daisy my dog for a walk at the quarries. Communication was perfect. I would definitely use Heather's services again.”

“We are so happy with the great care Amanda gave our Bella. We felt our vacation was better because Bella was getting such great care. Photo updates helped us to relax and know she was doing well. We will definitely have Amanda take care of her again!”

“Caitlin was so incredible to our girls. We got lots of great pictures and updates! She was great for both my super senior and my rocket dog who never wants to quit playing. They were picked up and dropped off which was such a blessing when our flights were at crazy times. Sue gave us the sweetest parting gift as well. Love Caitlin!!!”

“Ashley and her family were great caregivers for our pup, Murphy! Communication was excellent (loved getting photo updates during the stay), and Murphy seemed to have really enjoyed her time at their home.”

“Always our go to sitter ... always willing to go with the flow when thungs change but is always super responsive on their plans so I know what works. We really feel like our families have ran together since we have used Amanda so many times for our 4 legged kiddos”

“Amazing family for our old girl to spend her weekend with so we could enjoy our trip without worrying about our sweet Ellie!! Even sent pics to show us how great she was doing”

“Mikayla helped me out when I was stranded in town for a funeral during a blizzard and my pre-arranged sitter canceled at the last minute. She sent me frequent photos and updates, and both pooches came back healthy and happy! Thank you so much for your help!”

“Stacy was great with my dogs. She kept me updated throughout the weekend as to how they were doing. She sent me photos. She gave them massages and took them out for walks. Will be booking with her again.”

“Jill and her family took great care of my dog. She was very accommodating with drop off and pick up. She sent me constant updates and pictures which was very nice and reassuring as I was away. She took the time to understand my dog’s personality and needs. My dog was very cheerful after the time spent at Jill’s and her family (including their cute dog). Would Definitely recommend!”

“This was our second time having Jessica check on our cats with drop in visits, and this was for a 10 day trip out of the country so we were a bit nervous about leaving them so long. Jessica provided lots of updates and pics and overall did a great job. She made us feel much better about having to leave our furniture babies for so long. We really appreciate you, thank you! 😊”

“Lindsey was awesome!! I hired her to take care of my 5 week old kittens + one adult cat for the weekend, and I’m so glad I did! She was punctual on their feeding times, administered oral meds, and was very communicative when I reached out — and even when I didn’t. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have some experience taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats, but most of my care experience comes from the animals I grew up with in my own home. I grew up with bigger dogs most of my childhood and even had a cat for a short time! I love all animals, big or small. I am a student who is quite involved on campus. I may have some availability during the day, but mostly in the evenings and on weekends. When at your place, I am comfortable taking your pups on walks, playing with them inside or outside, and doing really anything else they may need. I also love playing with cats or cuddling up with either of your pets on the couch if they just need some affection while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Stephanie—an animal care professional with 13+ years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for creating safe, enriching, and loving environments for animals of all kinds. My journey has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska*, where I raised and cared for a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs, to leadership roles in animal welfare—working my way up to Operations and CSR Lead at an animal shelter, while also serving as a Client Experience Coordinator at a busy animal emergency hospital. In early 2025, I proudly founded my own rescue, Pawsitive Tales Rescue, where I continue to advocate for and care for vulnerable animals in need. Animals aren’t just my career—they’re my life. Whether I’m caring for playful puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, or medical-needs pets, I bring patience, experience, and genuine compassion to every animal I meet. My background in shelter medicine, emergency veterinary care, rescue work, and behavior gives me the confidence to care for pets with a wide variety of personalities and needs. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors adventuring with my retired sled dogs and my corgi—usually hiking, exploring, or chasing the next view. The mountains have my soul, but my heart belongs to every kitty and pup I’ve had the privilege to love. If you’re looking for someone experienced, dependable, and deeply passionate about animal welfare, your pets will be in caring and capable hands with me. I can’t wait to meet your furry family. 🐾
“I was so nervous to leave MG alone but Rover has some great people and we are very blessed to have found out about this service. I was also especially nervous because MG is a rescue that I rescued myself and so not much information is known. So im still navigating and understanding her personality. She did so good with Valleri and im so happy that it went good. I also feel relieved MG has been able to go outside for a while and eat and drink. Thanks so much for all you do!!”

“I can’t express how pleased I am with Kevin’s stay with Sydney. I was incredibly nervous to leave my dog for the first time but I was quickly relieved by how responsive, trustworthy, and kind Sydney is! My dog had a wonderful time playing all day:)!”

About: I work full time during the week. Monday- Thursday visits must be before or after work ** I have owned dogs and cats all my life, ranging from puppies to seniors. Currently, I have a dog and a cat, and I know how hard it can be leaving them when you go on vacation. But I love going for walks myself and feel comfortable administering medications when necessary, so know that your furry friend is in good hands. I am typically very available but would like at least a day or two's notice about needing pet care. I can also help with puppy training such as sit, stay, lay down, kennel up, and even high fives. These are just some of the tricks my dog knows as well. I have had multiple dogs of different breeds (mutts, Doberman, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Weimaraner, Huskies, etc). I work full time during the week, but I still do morning and nightly visits after work ! I keep my availability up to date on the app as well. More than happy to do dog walks during visits, on weekends and most holidays. I treat your pets like they were mine. I love to have a care guide and meet and greet before the visits to help learn what your pets are used to so so can keep that as consistent as possible. I work full time Monday-Thursday and typically keep my schedule up to date regarding weekends. I would be available before and after work during those days with more flexibility on weekends. I care for my clients pets in their home just like they were mine. Let me know what your pets routine, likes/dislikes are so I can keep their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel more comfortable.
About: I love dogs and I’m a stay at home mom to 3 young children, 2 dogs, and a cat so I have lots of availability and flexibility. I am always available through text and can respond within a few minutes! I will give your pet(s) all the attention they need - all the pats and cuddles they could possibly want. I have a very active dog so I’m used to spending lots of time outside already! Whether at the park, just in the backyard, or going for walk/runs. My mother has trained dogs in the past and I have plenty of tips and tricks from her to be able to handle pretty much any dog - no matter how difficult. I love cats, I am allergic to ones with longer fur though so I would prefer not to spend too much time around them! I have a domestic shorthair that I’m perfectly fine with though. I’ve taken care of neighbor’s pets since I was a kid and really love any that I get a chance to love on. We have a large fenced yard for boarding! I’m a stay at home mom, so I spend all day playing with my son and daughters, two dogs, and cat. My husband works from home and can care for our animals while I care for yours! If you require my services between 8-4pm, there’s a chance I might need to bring my kids with. While inside your home they can stay in their stroller - I won’t let them roam! But because of this I do request that your pets are kid-friendly during those hours. After 4pm I will be alone though! I’m able to care for your pets pretty much however you need - feeding, walking, playing, or some light training. I love when people leave me detailed instructions so I can do my best to treat your pets exactly as you would!
About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.
“Scott and Julia were just wonderful with my dog Luna. She is very anxious and my baby, but she was comfortable there almost instantly. I received constant updates and wonderful pictures! Luna will definitely be staying there again!!”

We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.
About: I strive to provide the care and professionalism that I need and expect to be provided to my own pets. Dogs are wonderful creatures that deserve proper love and attention integrated into their family life. I have experience with successful training of my own dog's basic obedience skills (sit, stay, heel, eat, touch, shake, etc). Have taken care of many other dogs, reptiles, and fish for people in my life. I am especially interested in helping reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I work freelance so I set my own schedule for the most part. Completely flexible for clients needs. A few weeks of the year I'm booked for longer gigs but that is easily identifiable up front for potential clients. Care for clients is completely dependent on their needs and comforts. I will always defer to the client for what is needed for them and their environment. Open and honest communication is the foundation for care and comfortability.

About: When I was little I used to rescue dogs from the street and take them home to bathe them and feed them. My mom helped me find them a house or sometimes we stayed with them. I know the importance and respect they deserve. I work and take care of my house, currently I don't have any time to invest in anything other than that. That's why I'm currently quitting my job to try something more different. I will only walk dogs, I live in an apartment so for the moment no animals can enter. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
“Out of town plans for both my husband and I. Miranda was able to come to our house and I let her in using my garage app to open the door. I'm sure Rosco was excited to see her and go for a walk. Super nice service and she was reliable.”

About: I have a lifelong passion for caring for animals, always having a beloved pet by my side. With years of experience as the go-to pet sitter in my family and friend group, I take pride in giving animals my full, undivided attention. I genuinely enjoy spending time walking and playing with all types of pets. I am committed to providing reliable and dedicated care for your pets, anytime and anywhere you need me. As a full-time pet sitter, I’m just one message away, ready to meet your needs. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I ensure they are well-fed, hydrated, and never miss a potty break. Daily walks and engaging playtime are always part of the care I provide. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, as it aligns with my passion for animals and my flexible schedule. Whether it's for my own pets or those I care for as a sitter, I dedicate specific times each day to feeding, walking, and playing with them. My focus is on providing loving, personalized care that meets each pet’s unique needs. I maintain the pet’s routine, following specific instructions for feeding, medication, and exercise.
🐾 I’m currently working part-time at the local animal shelter and part-time as an animal care taker. In addition, I have six of my own dogs and two cats. It’s dogs and cats from the moment I wake up until I go to bed! I have a fenced in yard where your pup can run and stretch their legs as much as they want! All of my dogs are friendly and social and my cats are dog savvy. You’re pets will be treated with the best care possible - I’ll treat them as if they’re my own.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each dog or cat’s personality, routine, and specific needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have experience working with both puppies and senior pets. With puppies, I focus on reinforcing basic training like potty routines, crate training, and positive behavior habits. For senior pets, I’m patient and attentive to mobility issues, medication schedules, and creating a calm, low-stress environment. I’m also highly reliable and communicative—I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, structured routines, or gentle, attentive care, I adapt to what works best for them. Above all, I aim to build trust—not just with pets, but with their owners too—so you can feel completely confident while you’re away. I am currently working full-time but with my scheduling I am able to build time around pets needs. Each day includes feeding, walks or playtime, and general check-ins to make sure they’re healthy and comfortable. I live in home with a fenced in yard. All animals are allowed in all rooms as well as furniture. I do have a crate if need be and two friendly doodles to keep your dog company with lots of toys to play with!
About: I tailor my care to you and your pets, with the goal of providing the same love and structure they’re used to. I love to learn their routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel completely at home. I come from a nursing background, so I am comfortable providing medications and treatments. I have a special love for elderly animals! I also have significant farm experience, so if watching over your farm is also something you need, please reach out! I work Monday-Friday 8-4:30 with a very flexible schedule that often includes several days per week working from home. On the days I’m not working from home, I typically am not gone for the entire day. The flexibility of my schedule ensures I can do what I need to care for your pets while we’re together! My goal is to create a space where both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I maintain a calm, clean environment, and provide thoughtful attention and careful supervision.
“Madisen and Kyle were phenomenal sitters. This was my first time using someone in Charleston and they eased all of worries. They shared some photos which made me comfortable especially being so far away. London came back healthy and a little sad to leave them. During my travel back, my flight was delayed and Madisen and Kyle accommodated my changes without any issues.”
