The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor play, and our friendly 8‑year‑old golden retriever loves having company and helps new dogs feel comfortable right away. About: I have 5 amazing dogs of my own, 1 pitbull, 2 American Eskimo mini and 2 Pomeranians. I had 2 liter of puppies from my dogs (1st liter was 10 pups, 2nd liter was 5 pups) and was able to raise them well for their furever home. I run a lot, so if your dog needs to exercise, you can count me in. Or simply needs a rest day, or any kind of special needs, I’m your girl. I work full time and have my own babies to care for, but I’m a super dog mom so I’m pretty flexible and prepared for anything. With my own experiences of owning 5 dogs, and raising 15 puppies, I feel like that should speak for itself. I do have a fenced in yard, I love dogs and I want them to be happy while they're with me or their own homes.
About: I have been around cats since I was just a baby. I might be a little biased but I can’t get enough of cats! Growing up my mom had a Maine coon, he was the reason I fell in love with taking care of animals! Once he got old I would help administer medications. I also used to watch my neighbors cats that had some medical issues. I would have to give them pills and also eye drops. So if you have a baby that needs some medicine or extra care, I am more than comfortable. I have three cats of my own, they are my world! So I understand how much your fur baby’s mean to you!

“Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

“I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: I have been a dog owner since I was a kid and currently have 1 dog who is a black lab. Her name is Nova! She loves meeting and playing with new friends. She enjoys swimming and chasing the rabbits around the yard. We have 2 sons (12 & 4) who both love on any and every dog! About: I worked at a credable doggy day care and boarding facility for 5 year (muddy paws resort). I have been around dogs my whole life and have my own dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes small to HUGE! And all sorts of temperament from happy go lucky to very shy to more fear agressive dogs. Through my employment there i completed courses such as knowing dogs 101 and 102 and a cpr certification course. My personal dog is an Australian shep x Rottweiler mix and knows many tricks and is very obedient, this has come from her breed and my passion to learn with her. I would love to get to know your pets and help busy owners out too :) I am currently a volleyball college athlete, who is in off season practice and lifts durring the evening. About: I have grown up my whole life around animals. When I was younger, I had smaller animals like hamsters and rats. In high school, my dad did get an English bulldog and he was my best friend! When we first brought him home, I took him to training and I loved every second of it! I would watch him almost every weekend for my parents. My sister also had a dog, her and I worked opposite schedules so I would take care of him during the day. I also took him through training as a puppy. So if you have a puppy and want them to learn a thing or two I can help! I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats with my boyfriend. So I really understand how much your fur baby’s mean to you as I have some at home! I am working part time and looking for something to do with my other time! I’m available all day Wednesdays, Fridays after 2pm and just about every weekend! Something that I live by is treating others animals like your own! I am also very big on respect. About: I’ve taken care of other animals since I was 6. I had multiple dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for daily. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for family and friends whenever needed. I now have a growing kitten that I’ve been caring for over the last year. About: My family has 4 dogs and a cat and travels all the time so I basically already do this unpaid lol. I’ll walk them, visit, and whatever ya need. Love any animals, size, shape, and color. Down to help whatever. I’m like Batman for animals! I’ll be there or be square! I’m here to help because I know in this economy, work is extremely important but so is having an amazing animal to relax with! I love love animals. About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. I've always had a pet dog/cat or both.. currently both. My schedule is currently very open daily, weekly, weekends very flexible. I intend to prioritize pet care in hopes of building a good business base for the near future. Pets in my care get all the love and attention. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.
About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I now have my own pitbull and live with 2 other dogs as well :) My pets are my world and I would love to take care of yours! I am flexible and able to care for your pet when I am not at my job! The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

Your dog will be welcomed into a warm, stable home where they get plenty of exercise, affection, and communication. We treat every pet as if they’re part of our own family, and we make sure you always feel informed and confident while they’re with us. My husband and I both work full time, but we still have great coverage for pet care throughout the week. My husband works from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows for frequent walks, breaks, and plenty of attention during the day. My schedule is 7:00am–3:00pm, so I'm usually home earlier in the afternoon, and my husband works 8:00am–5:00pm. We provide a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment for every pup we host. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor play, and our friendly 8‑year‑old golden retriever loves having company and helps new dogs feel comfortable right away. Inside, dogs have plenty of space to relax and be part of our daily routine. We always supervise outdoor time, keep our home secure, and make sure each dog gets the right balance of attention, structure, and comfort. Your pup will be cared for like family and will feel right at home with us.
