The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 and live on a 6 acre farm where the dogs can run and play all day. I’m currently between jobs but anticipate that my next work will be WFH so I can care for the dogs and other farm animals day in and day out. While the yard is not fenced per se, I do have invisible fencing if your dog is used to that system. I have 3 of my own dogs that know the boundaries and stay within them. I have a 3 bedroom house with 2 of the bedrooms unoccupied so there is plenty of space. I have crates of different sizes of your dog prefers to be crated for any length of time. One of my dogs is crated when not home the other 2 are free to roam the house and very well behaved.

About: I have 5 amazing dogs of my own, 1 pitbull, 2 American Eskimo mini and 2 Pomeranians. I had 2 liter of puppies from my dogs (1st liter was 10 pups, 2nd liter was 5 pups) and was able to raise them well for their furever home. I run a lot, so if your dog needs to exercise, you can count me in. Or simply needs a rest day, or any kind of special needs, I’m your girl. I work full time and have my own babies to care for, but I’m a super dog mom so I’m pretty flexible and prepared for anything. With my own experiences of owning 5 dogs, and raising 15 puppies, I feel like that should speak for itself. I do have a fenced in yard, I love dogs and I want them to be happy while they're with me or their own homes.

From the age of 5 I have had dogs and I’ve always walked and taken care of other dogs in my building from taking them on walks to watching them for a week while the owner was away. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. About: I've been taking care of my own animals since I was 8 years old. I grew up with multiple pets in my house hold. I raised a chinchilla to be 18 and my oldest dog was almost 16. Our family recently moved to the area and I’m just getting back into Rover. I'm currently a teacher so I have plenty of time to check in on your animal(s). I have a flexible schedule in the summer so I will try to work with your schedule. I am able to check in on your animal(s), give them attention, take them for a walk, and feed them/give them potty breaks. If there is bad weather or the animal needs extra attention (for longer periods of time) they can hang out in my home with me. I have three friendly golden dogs!
“I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

In my house our lives revolve around them. That of course doesn’t mean that they run the house, but we plan around them. My favorite sound and site are when they are eating: because to me it means they are safe and happy! I am working from home so I can be there for the dogs. Other than shopping and chores, im around. About: I worked at a credable doggy day care and boarding facility for 5 year (muddy paws resort). I have been around dogs my whole life and have my own dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes small to HUGE! And all sorts of temperament from happy go lucky to very shy to more fear agressive dogs. Through my employment there i completed courses such as knowing dogs 101 and 102 and a cpr certification course. My personal dog is an Australian shep x Rottweiler mix and knows many tricks and is very obedient, this has come from her breed and my passion to learn with her. About: I have grown up my whole life around animals. When I was younger, I had smaller animals like hamsters and rats. In high school, my dad did get an English bulldog and he was my best friend! When we first brought him home, I took him to training and I loved every second of it! I would watch him almost every weekend for my parents. My sister also had a dog, her and I worked opposite schedules so I would take care of him during the day. I also took him through training as a puppy. So if you have a puppy and want them to learn a thing or two I can help! I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats with my boyfriend. I’m available all day Wednesdays, Fridays after 2pm and just about every weekend! Something that I live by is treating others animals like your own! I am also very big on respect. I've spent five years working at a dog shelter as office manager, intake person which includes giving oral and injection medications, adoption coordinator, feeding and watering, cleaning, and socializing. I'm available during the week after 5:30pm. Weekends are open. I work at the humane society but don't get to interact with the furry friends. I miss them! Also, I enjoy nature walks and stop as often as the dogs do to look at things. :) My schedule is flexible. “Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 and live on a 6 acre farm where the dogs can run and play all day. I’m currently between jobs but anticipate that my next work will be WFH so I can care for the dogs and other farm animals day in and day out. While the yard is not fenced per se, I do have invisible fencing if your dog is used to that system. I have 3 of my own dogs that know the boundaries and stay within them. I have a 3 bedroom house with 2 of the bedrooms unoccupied so there is plenty of space. I have crates of different sizes of your dog prefers to be crated for any length of time. One of my dogs is crated when not home the other 2 are free to roam the house and very well behaved.
