The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

“Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. Definitely booking again (already have the reservations). It’s nice to know that my 11week puppy has a loving and caring place that takes care of him while I am at work.”

About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid. Even though my parents wouldnt let us get one, I have had them in my adult years. Most recently a cavapoo. I'm the type to get down on their level and be their best friend through playing or snuggling. I work from home full time and currently live by myself. I have no pets at the moment so let me watch yours! If I have to drive my kids (dont live with me) anywhere, I could either crate your dog or bring them with on a car ride. I've spent five years working at a dog shelter as office manager, intake person which includes giving oral and injection medications, adoption coordinator, feeding and watering, cleaning, and socializing. I ensure they are taken outside for bathroom breaks before coming inside, maintain a consistent feeding schedule, and always make sure they have fresh food and water. I also enjoy working with dogs on basic training and have successfully taught my own dog commands such as “sit” and “shake.” I’m currently working full time at a daycare in Byron MN. I’m free anytime after 5pm-9pm on most weeknights and I’m available anytime on the weekends! I care for pets like they’re my own. I make sure pets are well feed and have water. I make sure to keep an eye on them well outside.

“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

We met for a meet-and-greet prior to the day of care, and Cheyann was very detail-oriented in asking about our dog and writing things down. She is very kind and gentle, and we felt comfortable with her caring for our dog. Cheyann sent photos and checked in to let us know things were going well, which we appreciated. We plan to use her for future care when it is needed.”

“Stacy was very open to watching our puppy Bella on a somewhat short notice. During Bella’s stay, she was incorporated into Stacy’s daily life. She enjoyed the backyard with numerous toys, enjoyed playing with Stacy’s pups and even went out to dinner during the overnight stay. We received updates throughout the stay, without even asking (we loved this, as we could see Bella was having a great time!). Overall, we would rebook with Stacy in a heartbeat!”

“Alisha took great care of Cooper and Collins over the last week! The dogs got a lot of time at the local dog park and had some down time too (hanging out at home with her sweet dog). They got some extra treats and chews. Alisha sent pics of the dogs throughout the week, and they always looked so happy! It definitely makes a difference when you know your dogs are well taken care of…I think they had just as much fun on their “vacation” as we did on ours! I would rebook with Alisha without reservation for future care needs! She was also located in a great spot for us (could drop them off easily on our way to the cities/up north).”
