That warmed my heart and made me feel incredibly comfortable leaving Mercy with her family. However, they were happy to honor my suggestion of kenneling Mercy if there was no one at home since that is what we provide for Mercy at home. About: I’ve always been a dog person! I grew up with two Cockapoos who I absolutely adored, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve also loved dog sitting for family and friends over the years and getting to know all of their different personalities. During my first year of masters school, I rescued my sweet Goldendoodle, Lovey. She was 6 at the time and is now 9, and she has brought me more joy than I could ever put into words. She is truly my best friend and has made me even more of a dog lover! I know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby with someone else, so I want every dog I care for to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and of course, get lots of cuddles and attention! I work full-time as a mental health therapist at a school, so my typical work hours are 7:30 AM–3:30 PM. During the workday, I’m still able to let dogs out before work, during my lunch break, and right after work. Once I’m off for the day, I’m pretty flexible and happy to work around your pup’s needs! Whether that means going for a walk, taking a car ride, getting some extra playtime in, or just hanging out and getting lots of cuddles, I’m happy to make it work. Your pup will be treated like family while they’re with me! I live in a cozy apartment with my sweet Goldendoodle, Lovey, and we have access to a fenced in dog area where your pup can safely run around and get some energy out. I have plenty of toys, treats, and lots of love to go around! I’m also happy to follow whatever routine your pup is used to and can accommodate their individual needs as much as possible. They sent photos and videos throughout the stay, which was exactly what I needed, being able to see him playing and relaxed took a huge weight off. About: I have been around dogs and cats for many years, and some farm animals. I currently have two adult cats and one young dog. We live on 5.5 acres that are fenced-ish, but the yard is certainly not escape proof. My dog Scribble loves to play, especially with new dog buddies. He never gets tired. We have loop trails through meadow and woods all year round on the homestead but will also explore all of Dodge Center with pups on leash walks. I will also try obstacle courses and other games depending on what your dog is up for. I have yet to meet a cat I could not draw out at least a little. For dogs, we will have to try a temperament test with Scribble, who always wants to play more. I can offer boarding on weekends only because I am at my day job for long days Monday through Friday. I can offer pet drop in visits or dog walks in the evening year-round as long as your dog will share a walk with Scribble. A quick cat visit is easy any evening. Your pup's weekend will involve play sessions, games, leash walks and possibly unleashed walks and play, and exploring with exercise. Until I know your dog can be trusted off-leash and we explore the full property a few times, we will do leash walks only on our loop trails (about 20 minutes casual pace to walk them all). Our field is great for playing and offers lots of space to run around. There is always plenty to sniff and explore, with a trail around a pond, and many rabbits, squirrels, birds and deer about. Scribble never gets tired of exploring, and neither will your pet, even if we stay on leash. For cats, I can set up a private spare room and time to explore chaperoned. A private room will have a human bed, cat beds, catnip mats, and at least one climbing tower. Your cat will need to be okay with my guys hissing under the door initially and Scribble coming around to say hi with his tail wagging.

About: I have a 11 month old puppy that I have started training and taking care of since 8 weeks old. I also talk him on regular walks, and bathe him. My oldest dog is almost 3 and I have also have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I have watched and walked other dogs for friends and family overnight and for extended periods. I could pet care in the summer almost every day, since I am a teacher. Some things may come up, but I have a pretty flexible schedule. I would prefer to care for pets in my home during the day to make the pet more comfortable. I am able to play with, feed, bathe, walk, etc. I have a fenced in backyard! I would love if you are ok with my 11 month aussiedoodle came with on walks or house sitting.
