About: Having grown up around high energy dogs I understand how much work they can be and how all that work is worth it in the end. I work from 9am - 6 pm so plenty of time for an early morning walk or and evening stroll. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities for over 15 years, starting with family and neighbors and continuing through friends and repeat clients. I also volunteer walking dogs at the Humane Society in Superior, where I regularly work with nervous, high-energy, or more challenging dogs. I take a calm, patient approach and adjust to each dog’s needs, earning trust is always my goal. If a dog is difficult, I see it as an opportunity to connect. I truly love dogs, and I already love yours. I have a flexible schedule and work from home most days, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. With about three days’ notice, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care needs. On days I’m in the office or traveling for personal reasons, I communicate clearly in advance to ensure expectations are set and care is consistent. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own, and I’m mindful about introductions and routines. If a pet needs a quieter or separate environment, I have family nearby who can care for my dogs as needed. I have a partially fenced yard and use leashes and close supervision for outdoor time. I follow care instructions closely and focus on providing a calm, structured, and safe environment.

My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! I also am the dog mom of a spunky 11 year old German Shepard mix. The pets I’ve had in my care lately range from pit bulls and labs to pugs and even older dogs. I am excited to meet your dog! I spend all day, everyday walking dogs of all ages and breeds. Pet care is my full time job and I love what I do! Many dogs feel most comfortable in their own home so I am happy to provide sittings in your home to care for your pet the way you would! About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.
