“We had a fantastic experience with our sitter! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, sending regular updates and adorable pictures of our dogs that really put our minds at ease. Our pups were clearly happy and well cared for, and they loved playing in her spacious, fenced-in backyard with other friendly dogs. When we had to extend the stay unexpectedly due to weather, she was flexible and accommodating without hesitation. I felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in her care, and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. Highly recommend!”

I thought Gigi wouldn't want to come home with me.”

“Rylan did a terrific job taking care of our cat with a week of drop-in visits while we were on vacation. Rylan did an excellent job of providing daily updates and photos, and also brought our mail in, put the garbage cans out, etc. it is apparent that Rylan has a real love of animals, and it helped knowing that our little guy was well cared for while we were away.”

“Leann was our first experience with a pet sitter from Rover. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have years of experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities — from very social and playful cats to shy, independent, or older cats that need a quieter approach. Because I was homeschooled growing up, I spent a lot of time caring for and bonding with animals throughout the day, which taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding body language are when it comes to pet care. I’ve also pet sat for years and worked with animals professionally, so I’m comfortable handling different routines, temperaments, feeding schedules, medications, litter box care, and multi-pet households. What makes me different is that I genuinely respect cats for who they are. I understand that every cat has their own comfort level, routine, and personality, and I do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat wants constant attention and playtime or simply someone calm and trustworthy to care for them, I’m happy to provide the kind of care that fits their needs

About: I grew up having all kinds of pets, from small rodents, birds, cats, dogs, geckos, and fish. My love for animals has continued throughout my adult life and my comfortability around all kinds of animals is second to none. I work in private childcare, and am used to both entering into others homes and being respectful and trustworthy, and also provide loving and attentive care in my own home as well. Whether it's walks, cuddles, or reassurance that their parent will be back, your furry, cold-blooded, or feathered baby will be in good hands with me. Strong communication skills as well and as many photo updates as the pet parent would like! Monday through Thursday I leave around 7:45am for work and am back by 11:45 and home the remainder of the day! My 10 year old pup enjoys this schedule 😉 Friday through Sunday I’m home full-time. Lots of time spent playing, cuddling, and spending time relaxing together. I have a 10 year old female (fixed) 40 pound dog that is as sweet as can be and gets along with all animals! No prey drive whatsoever. We love walks, being outside, and cuddling on the couch at the end of the day.
“She was amazing with Beans. Love the daily pictures. Super thoughtful, brought in some packages that were left out in the rain for us. Very happy with the service.”

“Kristin is an amazing pet sitter. She has a high attention to detail and will make sure your pets receive the best care possible. She will do “the dirty work” because let’s face it, animals are gross and make big messes sometimes but she will take care of it because she understands. We love Kristin and will use her services again!! Thank you Kristin!!”

“Emily’s process is a little front heavy in reading the welcome packet and instructions - but I honestly rather this and feel great about where I’m leaving my dog than sitters who are so easy going that I’m nervous how carefully they watch my dog. She sent a lot of photos which was awesome!! My dog played with other dogs and came home tired.”

“Our timid (and somewhat anxious) Wilbur had a wonderful afternoon with Phillip. They went for a walk, played ball in his fenced yard and then relaxed on Phil's couch together. Wilbur was tired (in a satisfied sort of way) when he came home. Phillip was quick to respond to messages and sent photos during their visit. We look forward to dropping Wilbur with Phil in the future.”

“I can tell by the way Echo is always so excited to see Julie that she has a good time when with her and trusts her. She readily hops up into Julie's car without even so much as a glance back! And I love Julie's calm demeanor, regardless of the action with numerous dogs. And I think the dogs love it too. Echo always comes hope happy and exhausted - exactly what I'm after. :)”

About: I grew up on a farm and my parents were both veterinarians. I love animals and am even tempered. I’ve had a dog my whole life (except during college) and I know how important exercise & companionship are for our furry friends. I’m currently working part-time from home and have lots of time to play & go for walks with your pup. My availability is very flexible. My backyard is fully fenced and a great size. My home is in a central location with great access to walking trails and not too far from the highway.

About: I’m confident and comfortable with both dogs and cats, including puppies, senior pets, high-energy dogs, shy animals, and pets that need extra patience or attention. I also have experience with potty training puppies, reinforcing routines and basic commands, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have worked professionally for years as a pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. This has given me experience and confidence in handling different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I also grew up homeschooled on lots of land, so pets have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because I was home during the day, I spent a lot of time helping with feeding, training, socializing, exercising, and caring for animals of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. Monday- Friday I am available any time of day all day. I am also available on weekends depending on the weekend, so please feel free to reach out and ask if the weekend you’re hoping for aligns with my summer plans. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos of their pet to update them on how they are doing. If the pets were in my home, I would do my best to make that temporary transition as smooth and as comfortable for them as possible. Whether that be bringing their own toys or bed, or letting them snuggle in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to. With my schedule being solely dedicated to pet sitting, your pet will never lack attention in whatever ways they need! Whether that’s endless walks and tug of war, snuggles on the couch, or just having a safe hand around to make sure they are picked up after.

“Our Aussie/Border collie had a delightful time at doggy daycare every day for a week. Jessica and her husband were very communicative, prompt and sent photos. They were patient working through our dog's anxiety on the second day (when he realized this was not just a one-off play date), and he ended up happy and comfortable the rest of the week, playing all day with their resident dog and another friend. We'd recommend them as excellent dogsitters and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.”

About: I absolutely love working with animals! I started out volunteering at the SPCA where I got to cuddle and play with adorable cats and dogs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for all sorts of animals, including some sweet pups, cuddly kitties, and even some friendly pigs! Whether it's just stopping by for a quick visit, giving them medicine, or taking them for a walk, you can trust that I'll treat your furry (or not so furry!) friend with nothing but love and care. I have an extremely flexible schedule right now so I have time for any of your pets and their needs. I always try my best to be on time & as thorough as possible even if that means I have to spend more time to get everything done. In my clients home I am always respectful of house rules & what is going on with their pets. Always being attentive and observant of what is going on. While outside on walks it is exactly the same of where we are walking and who is around.

“Thank you Sarah! You are so good with bully breeds so I felt totally comfortable leaving Gordy with you. Thank you for your kindheartedness and flexibility during my first time using Rover.”

About: Hello my name is Chelsea and I love animals. Growing up I lived on a hobby farm with cats, dogs, horses, goats, fish and chickens to now when I have reptiles, two dogs and a cat. My dream job would be to work with animals every day and build a trust between owner and sitter because I know the feeling when you can trust that your animal baby will be cared for to the fullest extent. I have always cared for animals and have been to a few basic animal emergency classes that I learned a lot from such as cpr on cats, dogs and reptiles to learning basic signs of pain or uncomfortably. I can’t wait to meet more animals and am excited to start. I have always had a routine and the pets were just a part of that. If I leave the house the have each other but I’m never gone for more then an couple hours. I care for them as I would my own, they are apart of the family and I wouldn’t want it any other way. If they need water; I would fill the bowl, same with food. If they needed potty break I would take them outside; and if they wanted to cuddle and watch a movie on the couch I would allow it.
“I am so happy I chose Carolyn. My dog sometimes takes a while to warm up to people, but she liked Carolyn right away. Carolyn is an excellent and prompt communicator, which I really appreciate; my dog always looks so happy when Carolyn sends me pictures from their walks. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Carolyn!!”

She even had a spare harness and retractable leash for my dog since I forgot mine when I dropped her off. Mesha was well cared for by Katie and was a happy girl when I picked her up. Katie is my go to dog sitter from now on for Mesha. Thank you Katie!”

“Our dog was in great hands with Steffanie and her family! He came happy and healthy. She made everything very easy and straight forward and gave us great updates throughout.”

“Nikki was GREAT with Kai! I had to book her last minute and she was responsive and able to accommodate not only the last minute request but a very early drop off time. Kai had a great time with Nikki and all the other pups in her care, I even got tons of pictures of him throughout his stay. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Russell and Linda have been taking care of our boy, Finn for over a year now. They are exceptional in how much effort into making Finn feel at home!”

“Alicja was very sweet and communicative. She helped us as soon as we needed it. We learned a lot about our dogs as they stayed with her and received pictures every day! I highly, highly recommend her!”
“Robert was incredible to work with. He picked up and dropped off Woofly for us and sent lots of pictures during his stay. He was easy to communicate with and took great care of our pup. We’d happily send Woofly back to him again. Thank you, Robert!”

“Rozalyn is our new primary dog-sitter. We finally found out sitter who share the same vision! Rosalyn is wonderful and caring! She took really good care of Kit, our senior chihuahua mix and included her in the family. Kit comes home happy and content!”

“Stan has an ideal place to host a dog, a huge backyard, part of it landscaped and part of it wooded with trails, and all securely fenced. Zoe loves to be outside and had a blast staying with Stan and his two very friendly dogs. Stan was very meticulous about gathering any important information about Zoe at the Meet & Greet before the boarding. Also, he loves dogs and his house is very dog friendly-- many dog beds for lounging, and a carte blanche for Zoe to venture about the house. I appreciated the photos, videos, and insightful updates that he provided during Zoe's stay.”
