We ran into a few hiccups returning from the airport during bad winter weather and Chris was incredibly understanding. Yes, Chris made my experience very pleasant. Yet, most importantly after 9 days I came home to a happy, well adjusted puppy! This speaks for itself. As a Shorkie our puppy is sensitive to separation anxiety. Being with Chris she definitely got all the attention and love that is used to getting at home. I am so grateful for having peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of while we are traveling. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up with dogs, I quickly became in tune with their needs and can form a bond quickly! I go above and beyond to make every dog I meet feel loved and welcomed. I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses. I’m currently home with my little boy for the summer so my availability is virtually wide open! I’ll be able to provide walks, pets, and so much more. About: I have been a vet tech for 13years now and also have fostered over 30 dogs in the last 4 years. Knowledge with health, behavior and wellness. We love senior pets and understand the care that goes into them! Variety of experience with different dog breeds. I work at home full time during the week. We have 2 dogs and a cat so pets are not left alone more than 3 hours during non work days. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family in our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood on almost 3 acres. Dogs will be taken out on a leash to potty. We have 2 dogs that are friendly and social and 2 boys that are dog savvy kids. There is a cat in the home as well that will more than likely be hiding during your dogs stay. I am able to administer medications if needed. Nail trim and/or bath can be provided for fee

About: I've had cats pretty much my whole life. For the longest time, I preferred them over dogs! However, I'm to the point in my life where I love both dogs and cats equally. 🥰 When I worked at Ames Pet Resort in Ames, IA, they offered lodging for cats so I took care of many different kitties. From mean, to anxious, to super lovey dovey ones! I've also given them their medicines, though needles are a little tough for me with cats... but I'm very willing to learn! I currently have my own house cat and she's my little baby. 🥰 She loves to snuggle with me right away in the morning and right before bed. I got her from a farm down in Iowa and it took her a few days to get used to me and my dog, but once she was used to us, she was following us around the apartment everywhere! And now that I live in a house, she has a whole house to explore and a new kitty to play with! After I got Athena, I got her spayed and updated on her shots. She didn't like taking her medicine, but she let me do it anyway, which I was super thankful for at the time since I worked a lot at the time. I love to play with her whenever I get the chance, and my dog often joins us in play time. ❤️

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: Spacious yard, in the country. Less than one mile from lake for walks and swims. As our pets are enjoying unearthly fun now, we have lots of love and time to give! I work full-time Monday through friday, I'm home by late afternoon. Home on weekends, and nights. Lots of walks, and jogs as we are very active. About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up with dogs, I quickly became in tune with their needs and can form a bond quickly! I go above and beyond to make every dog I meet feel loved and welcomed. I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses. I’m currently home with my little boy for the summer so my availability is virtually wide open! I’ll be able to provide walks, pets, and so much more. I have an outdoor kennel with a nice house in it if needed. Otherwise, I can provide a crate inside in a calm environment. My 2 dogs are around to play with your dog as well! If you’re worried about my dogs and your dog getting along, I can separate them-no problem.

About: I have been a vet tech for 13years now and also have fostered over 30 dogs in the last 4 years. Knowledge with health, behavior and wellness. We love senior pets and understand the care that goes into them! Variety of experience with different dog breeds. I work at home full time during the week. We have 2 dogs and a cat so pets are not left alone more than 3 hours during non work days. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family in our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood on almost 3 acres. Dogs will be taken out on a leash to potty. We have 2 dogs that are friendly and social and 2 boys that are dog savvy kids. There is a cat in the home as well that will more than likely be hiding during your dogs stay. I am able to administer medications if needed. Nail trim and/or bath can be provided for fee

About: I’ve owned dogs for the last 26 years. From car rides, to hide and seek and tug of war games and cuddling, they were spoiled! Friday and Saturday’s are wide open for me as those are my days off. Your dog can relax at our house, play in our yard and go on walks.
