About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.

About: I have loved cats for my entire life! I have a weak spot for siamese cats especially! I had a diabetic cat as a teenager! I foster cats from time to time and I help feed the strays and keep them dewormed! About: I require any visiting pets to be vaccinated and on flea preventitive! I have trained many kinds of dogs for many different things! I have a service dog that I trained Bella! I also have a cat that is trained to sit, spin, and jump! I have experience with diabetic animals and with most animals in general! I am educated on animal CPR and heimlich. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with 6 dogs at a time lol it's so much fun! I don't have space to take more than one large dog or 2 small dogs at a time but someday I will! I am working on getting fencing for my yard! I only let 1 dog out at a time. I follow owners feeding schedule. I chart every feeding, drink of water that i see, and every potty break. I send updates daily and am well educated on how to calm an anxious dog!

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”

About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. I do this full time so I am usually always free to offer the most reliable and consistent pet care experience for your pet and I’m always available unless I’m watching other pets. I’d love to do repeat visits to build a better relationship with you and your pet.
