This was the first time that we left our 9 year old Yorkie with someone who was not family. She was able to run free in his yard and made some new friends! He checked in with us frequently sending us pictures of her. And He was flexible on drop off time. Next time we go on vacation in Detroit Lakes we would 100% send our pup Dan again!!”

About: I have had experience with all kinds of dogs. Puppies, seniors, tiny dogs, and big dogs!! I understand animals have boundaries just like we do. I can read body language pretty well and know when your fur babies are asking for a little space or lots of love! I have experience working at boarding facilities and animal shelters. Through that I have met cats and dogs with many kinds of temperaments, special needs, gained lots of experience administering oral medication, and topical medication (such as eye drops, skin creams/mousse, etc.). I am focused on being able to provide services on Rover. My schedule is flexible, which means I can work with what's best for you and your fur baby! Safety is my number one priority. On walks I avoid interactions with other animals/people that have not been approved by the owner. If you typically let your dog outside off leash, I take into consideration that I am a new person and haven't built up the bond that a pet parent has. I will assess wether or not I feel comfortable letting them off leash in a non-fenced area. With both cats and dogs I take extra caution when opening doors to prevent any escape artists from getting out.

About: Love dogs and will travel! Lakeside home with 3 acres to run. We love dogs and offer our guests lots of attention and long walks on a country lane and 2 of our own pups to keep them company. We understand a dogs need reassurance when they are separated from their owners and do our best to give them an enjoyable experience while you’re away. The dogs safety is a priority and our Vet is close by for any emergency. A large variety of toys and a balls are always available for retrieving. 3 large dog beds available a good dogs night sleep. Our Bernese Mountain Dog and Bernadoodle are friendly and ready to play. A all around wonderful place for your best friend’s vacation.
