I’ve also volunteered at rescues, so I have some experience with many different dog breeds, personalities, and temperaments. I specifically have experience with caring for short-nosed breeds, such as English and French bulldogs, pugs, etc and all that entails. Deaf dogs, senior dogs, medical dogs, puppies…. No problem! If you have to be out of the house, whether for work, vacation, or other commitments leaving your pet alone for a stretch, I’m available to make sure they get some attention and time outside while you do what you need to do! I’ll take care of your fur kiddos, so they feel loved and happy. We can go for a nice long walk to get some energy out, play fetch, or just bum around the house while I give your baby all my attention. I’ve had experience with dogs big and small, rescues who weren’t social with other dogs and needed to be walked away from other pups, giving medicine.... you name it! I’d be happy to take social dogs out to parks, or on longer stays, I’m happy to take your pup paddle boarding or kayaking if you’d like. About: Having spent my early years with our family dogs, I have come to an appreciation of the anxiety and work families go through in order to go on a trip without their beloved pets! Keeping your family pets in their own home reduces the stress on the family and the pet! We own a seasonal resort so we have limited availability for overnights June/July/August but are available for walking & attention throughout the day. Our resort is closed is mid-September through mid-May when we house-sit as well as care for our neighbors pets in their own home. Ideally we would like to meet the family and your pet before agreeing to home & pet sitting as we want a good match. Services offered: drop in care, pet walking, house sitting. Because we live in rural Minnesota, our fees reflect the additional transportation costs going to your home for services. When our seasonal resort is closed I am available most days and weekends. About: Rised on a hobby farm so grew up with all sorts of animals. My very own puppy came to me when i was 12 years old and have had a fur baby pretty much since. Have had some training in puppy classes and obedience. Have work with Bark Busters of the Twin Cities.
