About: My first mommy gig I ever had was when me and my husband introduced Saydie, our fun loving, energetic pup to our siblings and friends. That was 13 years ago and now I have 4 human babies and Saydie is still my side kick! She loves being a big sister! About: Already when I was 10 years old I had my first foster dog in the neighborhood . The owner went to work all day and so I went after school to her house and picked up Anuschka to go for a walk. We spent the whole day together and I always brought her home when the owner was back from work. For all trips beyond that I charge 50 cents per mile. About: Oh my gosh, where to even begin... :) I started and built, Girl Meets Dog Pet Care Services - Chicago, from 2000, through 2018 (I’m relatively new to doing this in the Rover route, so most of my reviews are posted on other sites), when I became too ill with Lyme Disease, and needed to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family until I became well enough to get back on my feet. Now, I have little home in Spicer, MN, with a big deck and a fenced in yard. I work from home (fashion reseller) so it's me and my big sweet Ni'ta Girl, a 9 year old 100 lbs. of Great Pyrenees sweetness), little Henry (dog loving little 4 year old Bichon-Shih Tzu), hanging around here all the time, so we've decided it's time some other sweet kids get to come soak up this perfect dog loving life with us! I so miss having a house filled with 'nieces and nephews' for me to dote on and spoil rotten, so, if your kid deserves to be treated like like true children (or even better than that, in my book ;)), then this is where they belong. I had clients that called it 'going to camp' when they were coming to stay with us (it's just me, and my fur kids here. Note: due to Nita’s senior age, we don’t take any ‘high energy’ doggos at this time, but all others are welcome!). Since I work from home, I am home with my dogs and kitty 95% of the time, so I am able to provide all the love and company to visitor kids they could possibly want. It was great to use Rover to find someone in Minnesota to watch our dogs while we had to attend for this. Monica asked questions before we came to MN, about one dog’s diet and health issues. One dog had pancreatitis in the past and we had to be careful what she can eat. Monica was very knowledgeable about those issues, and that was reassuring to me. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

I currently work part-time so I will have a lot of time to keep your fur baby company and give them to quality car they need. I grew up on hobby farm taking care of pigs, chickens, pheasants, etc. I have also cared for all of our family pets growing up. I currently live with my German Shorthair Pointer mix, Eddie and my Mini Dachshund Skippy! My boyfriend and I have 2 Quarter Horses names Steve and Skeeter. About: Hello, I grew up on a farm and have lived with animals all of my life. I have cared for kittens, puppies, goats, cattle and chickens. I grew up with Aussies and am currently very active with our dog, Rylee - although I am a cat person at heart. I would consider myself an animal person through and through. My significant other also has a huge heart for animals. Our three pets are the center of most of what we do. I work in office Monday to Thursday each week. I am off each Friday and am available most weekends. My significant other, Brandon, is my partner in this and he works from home all week. Your pet would have his company and care while I work in office! We live in a spacious, two bedroom apartment. There are sidewalks and a paved walking path near our apartment that we frequent. We are also discovering local parks! Our complex offers a fenced dog park. I feel exercise is highly importantly for furry friends. Our apartment is clean and quiet. We give dog treats to Rylee (our dog) often. Our pets receive lots of love and yours can expect this too! We have two cats in our apartment too - Maggie and Frankie. Frankie loves dogs with her whole heart and Maggie typically keeps her distance while we pet sit.

About: Hello everyone! My name is Shelly, and I’m excited to care for and work with your beloved pets. I grew up on a dairy farm, where caring for animals wasn’t just a chore—it was a way of life. From milking cows to raising chickens and pigs, and always having a dog and numerous cats around, animals were at the heart of my daily routine. Those early experiences taught me responsibility, consistency, and the importance of attentive, compassionate care. Today, my husband and I run a small hobby farm of our own, where we care for horses, chickens, our beloved dog Luna, and many kitties. Animal care continues to be a central part of my life and is something I truly enjoy. I have also completed additional training and worked extensively with my own horses and dogs. Having been around animals my entire life, I have experience providing a wide range of care, including assisting with livestock deliveries (calves and swine), administering medications, and caring for animals with medical needs, including those associated with aging. I love to travel and explore the world whenever I can. Currently, I am home full-time and available 24/7 from June through August, which allows for a very flexible schedule. I return to my full-time position during the last week of August. At that time, my availability will vary, with weekends generally offering the most flexibility. From September through June, my regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. I am committed to working with pet owners to accommodate their needs as best as possible and will do my utmost to ensure your pets receive the care, attention, and consistency they deserve. My pets are part of my family, and I provide them with the highest level of care, love, and attention possible. Their well-being is one of my top priorities. When caring for someone else's pets, I treat them as if they were my own because I understand how much our animals mean to us. I also recognize how important we are to our pets and that being separated from their owners can sometimes be stressful for them. My goal is to provide the comfort, care, and attention they need while maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. I make every effort to follow all instructions and preferences provided by pet owners to ensure their pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while they are away.
