About: Hello! New to Rover! My name is Amanda, I’m 22, and love animals more than humans! I’ve taken care of, rescued, and owned almost every pet imaginable! I had springer spaniels and a cavalier growing up that I trained. Also had a cat, turtles, ferrets, hamsters, and fish all through my childhood. Now living on my own, I have a rescued cat and two ball pythons! Pet care fits easily into my routine and happy to work around pet’s schedules. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
