Yet, most importantly after 9 days I came home to a happy, well adjusted puppy! This speaks for itself. As a Shorkie our puppy is sensitive to separation anxiety. About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a 4 year old Black Lab named Bear, and before him I had Coco, a Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix who was part of my family for 7 wonderful years (adopted at 8 and had her until the Rainbow Bridge). Caring for dogs through every stage of life has given me experience with everything from energetic young dogs to senior pets with changing needs. About: Hi! I’m a middle school teacher, mom to 4 busy kids, and dog mom to ‘Jersey’ our mixed rescue. My house is a welcoming home away from home for your pup. Now that my kids are a bit older, I have a lot of time to give to your pup in the summer and would treat them like my own. I LOVE getting outdoors and walking as much as my legs can allow. Summer break allows for our family of six to enjoy the neighborhood. I have the flexibility to be home daily. Although my children are in multiple activities, I am always close to home. I will be out and about quite often driving kids to different places, but are never gone for more than a few hours. I am able to leave and take your pup for a quick walk multiple times a day, or welcome them into our house over the course of a couple days. My house has a fenced in yard in a nice family neighborhood. Our dog has her base camp on our upper level den, but we have a safe and separate area for your pet in our lower level that will be all theirs! I will walk multiple times daily and care for your pet as my own. My family has lots of love and cuddles to give if needed, but if your pup is more of a recluse, they can adjust accordingly!

About: My love for animals goes well back to when I was 4 or 5 and I was in charge of letting our neighbors dog out while they were on vk. (my mom was really there ;)) I always loved the 2 cats we had I'm sure but my love started growing for all animals when I took on that letting the neighbors pets out. Through highschool I volunteered when I could at the animal shelter a couple cities over and dreamed about owning my own training and boarding facility when I graduated. Well life pushed me into college and a career and 10 plus years later here I am with a degree I don't want a career in.... I'm going back to my dreams and would love for your dogs to be a part of the start of it! I have 3 fur babies of my own a cat and two dogs! All three rescues and loving life! Any questions feel free to reach out! Cant wait to meet everyone! I currently work Monday through Friday 8 to 5 as an intake coordinator for a hospital from home. My love is animals so all my spare time goes to fostering and volunteering for ruffstart along with taking care of others furbabies. All pets deserve lots of love but discipline when needed. I believe in positive reinforcement but some pups need a little more guidance and a shorter leash than others.. I plan on following owners directions and requests but offer guidance if wanted or needed. If all you want me to do is let your fur babies out and spoil them rotten I would absolutely love doing that! For boarding and doggy daycare I have an older resident dog so we can only take laid back submissive dogs for now. We do habe the capability to separate if she needs a break. We have a big Shepard mix that loves to play with everyone at only 3 years old!

About: I have cared and loved many animals. I grew up on and around farms so I have worked with horses, cows, wolves, cats, dogs, ducks, and chickens. I have had a Great Dane that I had rescued from an abusive home. I am currently working full time M-F 7am to 530pm. I can work evenings and weekends. Soon I would like to work with animals full time instead of at my current job. My desire is to work the hours that pet owners need me when I start to build clientele. When I get enough clients my hopes are to extend to the business hours and do that full time. I do not want to quit my full time hours until I am able to help enough pets and their owners. About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: My love for animals goes well back to when I was 4 or 5 and I was in charge of letting our neighbors dog out while they were on vk. (my mom was really there ;)) I always loved the 2 cats we had I'm sure but my love started growing for all animals when I took on that letting the neighbors pets out. Through highschool I volunteered when I could at the animal shelter a couple cities over and dreamed about owning my own training and boarding facility when I graduated. Well life pushed me into college and a career and 10 plus years later here I am with a degree I don't want a career in.... About: I've been caring for animals since I was in 6th grade when I'd regularly animal sit for one of my neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog, 3 cats, and 2 bunnies. Since then, I've become a dog trainer and can deal with a wide variety of dogs, including dogs with additional care needs. I'm an AKC evaluator and I spend my free time competing with my dogs in a variety of sports! I take special care and pride in the animals I care for. I believe that a well exercised pet is going to be an easier companion and leads to a much happier family life. I have 3.5 acres for your pet to romp around. This will include things like loose leash walking, distraction training, and more. Mental stimulation will tire your dog out faster than physical stimulation so this exciting mixture will leave you with a very happy pup! Of course, if you prefer no training, I'm happy to go along with what you prefer! Lastly, I try my best to create the best relationship with the animals I care for. This means I want your furry friend to love me as much as I love them. I prefer to meet your pet and at least one owner of your pet before continuing into a service. This isn't a requirement, but a strong preference. Especially for extended stays. I work hybrid so I spend 50% of business days working from home. On the weekends, I don't have to go in-office. My entire life revolves around my dogs and adding your pet into our routine will be an easy transition! I have an unfenced yard on 3.5 acres. I have 5 of my own dogs. My dogs will crate and rotate indoors with your pet depending on their needs. I prioritize putting dogs together that I'm confident will get along. All of my dogs are friendly and play together easily. I can also put your dog on a separate schedule so they're not interacting with any other pets during their stay.
