My journey has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska*, where I raised and cared for a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs, to leadership roles in animal welfare—working my way up to Operations and CSR Lead at an animal shelter, while also serving as a Client Experience Coordinator at a busy animal emergency hospital. About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a 4 year old Black Lab named Bear, and before him I had Coco, a Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix who was part of my family for 7 wonderful years (adopted at 8 and had her until the Rainbow Bridge). About: My love for animals started when I was just 4 or 5 years old! I was given the very important job of letting our neighbor's dog out while they were on vacation (with a little help from my mom, of course! 😉). We had two cats of our own growing up, but I think that little responsibility is what really sparked my love for caring for all animals.
