About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. About: I've had cats in my life since I was a baby and care for 3 of my own. My cat Luna who has now passed was THAT animal in my life, if you know what I mean. I raised her from 3 weeks old and taught her to play fetch, do some basic commands, and to walk on a leash. “When our normal sitter for our 18 year old dog was unavailable we selected Dayjah to fill in. As our dog is old, we are very protective with him. We spike with Dayjah on the phone first. It was clear that she not only was very knowledgeable about about pet care, but even more important, she loved animals. Our dog did fantastic with Dayjah. My yard does not have a fence but my dog enjoys being outside on a long leash and roaming around our yard. My dog has a very large crate fit for 2 dogs and I also have another separate (1 dog) crate.
About: MY family and I foster through the Carver-Scott humane society, with 2 Maine Coon cats of our own. I have 2 assistants (11 & 7) that would join me if approved to play with and cuddle your pet. We are understanding of varying personalities and intricacies of all animals and needs they may have. Our family is a homeschooling family that has day and night opportunities to serve your family. Our schedule is constantly changing, but can make time that fits into your schedule as well. We will come to your home to do the items you wish - feed, play, walk, cuddle with your pet. If your pet prefers a quiet environment with no kids, I will come solo. If your pet loves to play and get cuddled the 2 children will be happy to love on your pet. They are trained by the humane society and are well equipped to handle pets in different situations.

I have extensive experience working with animals especially at a non profit no kill rescue that is unique giving everyone a chance no matter if they need high amounts of medical care. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

We have had the two same dogs for the past 10 years now and I have learned to take care of them whether that be bathing them, feeding them, taking them on walks, or giving them love.
