One of my cats lived to be 24 and I am currently living with a 17-year-old cat, so I have experience with cats of all ages, from kittens all the way to seniors! I love caring for cats of all ages. I know how to give a cat oral and liquid medications and I have even done in-home hospice care where I gave my cat subcutaneous fluids. I have also trained some of my cats to go outside on a harness. We also have a 7 year old mini goldendoodle who we've trained and raised since he was a puppy so I'm pretty accustomed to being around animals. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in my teens. I watched the neighbors dog with my sister when they were on vacation growing up. My sister had a Pomeranian dog breed throughout high school into college. Have experience watching Shih Tzu's, Chihuahua's, St Bernard, and Black Labs. I have experience watching a mixed husky (breed) and have known the dog since 2014. I most recently watched Renly while they were on a camping trip during the summer of 2023. I can crate your dog as needed or kennel when I am not at home. I pay close attention to the dogs when outside to ensure they are safely in the yard. About: I’ve had dogs all my life, helping my parents take care of them growing up. In highschool I got a job at a pet hotel and worked there for a year. This was a great experience, I got to see how dogs interact with each other and learned how to take care of different types of dogs. I have also helped house sit some of our family friends dogs. I am home from college and have most days free. I am available most of the days and am happy to work whenever I am needed. I can not watch any dogs in my house. About: I have always loved animals, whether it be a mouse or a horse. I also love to help people out, especially with dogs and cats. I’ve babysat one dog long-term (about 6 months), and I have been babysitting the same dog for about 2 years, since he was a 8 week old puppy. I also had a dog who passed away a few years ago, and had to take care of her in her senior years and help her get up as she had hip problems. In between dog-sitting, I did babysit dogs for a week, and usually wouldn’t mix dogs unless owners were okay with it. (these owners were from my work or teachers from my high school). I am currently attending college in Duluth. However, I do come home quite a bit Fridays-Mondays. In the summer, I will be very flexible though! I take dogs out on leashes as it makes me feel most comfortable but fenced in yards while watching the dog also makes me feel comfy as well.
