“My partner and I were driving across the country with our 50lb Samoyed, Jack, to relocate to our new home. On our trip, we decided to stop through Fargo where my family is from and take in NDSU football game — Go Bisons! We needed someone to watch Jack for the few hours we were at the game, and Taylor readily accepted our last minute (day before) request. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. I’ve trained my own dogs through three levels of obedience and raised five of them from the time they were 8 weeks old and took care of them through their elderly years including in pup wheel chairs. I work school hours during the week and have Thursdays at home, which gives me extra flexibility for pet care.
