When we dropped him off, he ran in Ty's house like he lived there and didn't even hesitate. Got a daily update from Ty and Rocket was quite content. About: Having grown up with dogs, I understand how important they are as family members. As a graduate student living away from home, I especially miss spending time with my family's dogs. I’ve also cared for my friends’ dogs, so I know every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll make sure they get all the walks, playtime, cuddles, love, and attention they need while following their regular routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy! As a graduate student, I have class Tuesday and Thursday during the middle of the day and Monday evenings, so I am unavailable during those times. Outside of class, my weekday schedule is flexible. I have the most availability on weekends, and my evenings are almost always free for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I care for every pet as if they were my own, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in yours. I live in a cozy apartment, but I’m surrounded by many dog-friendly areas and parks, which makes it easy to provide plenty of walks, exercise, and outdoor time. “My partner and I were driving across the country with our 50lb Samoyed, Jack, to relocate to our new home. On our trip, we decided to stop through Fargo where my family is from and take in NDSU football game — Go Bisons! We needed someone to watch Jack for the few hours we were at the game, and Taylor readily accepted our last minute (day before) request. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. I’ve trained my own dogs through three levels of obedience and raised five of them from the time they were 8 weeks old and took care of them through their elderly years including in pup wheel chairs. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to independent cats and senior pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work school hours during the week and have Thursdays at home, which gives me extra flexibility for pet care. About: I’ve helped train dogs before and I'd love to assist in sharpening their skills. I love walks or staying at home! I enjoy all dog company! I currently have control and flexibility of creating my own schedule. So I’m technically working part-time but I can work full-time if I want to.
