“James and Lauryn were clearly affectionate toward Lila and immediately brought her into their family. She was well taken care for and tended to as if she were their own.”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Grizzly. He came home happy and tired. We loved receiving all of the updates and photos. We will definitely be reaching out the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“McKayla and Dillon are Star Sitters for a reason: They really care for their guests. They saw our Ozzy did not like their wood floors, so they provided rugs and towels for him to move around on! They are attentive not only to the apparent needs of their house guests, but also make them feel at home by keeping close to home schedules, providing lots of active time/walks, and include important, quiet, "family" time. They are great "pack" leaders! We couldn't be more pleased with the love and care Ozzy received, as well as the accommodations they made to help us with our travel plans. Thanks!”

“Isabella is a wonderful sitter. I booked last minute and before meeting her in person. She's s bright, positive, newly wed. She was very good to Gigi and seemed to enjoy having her (not just a job). Her dog is very mellow and gets along well. Gigi is pretty spoiled and wants to be by your side at all times. Isabella showered her with attention. I thought Gigi wouldn't want to come home with me.”

“Nikki was awesome. Very accommodating with drop off and pick up and kept us frequently updated while she cared for our dog. She seems to have a real intuitive sense with dogs and it’s clear she truly cares so much for them. Definitely recommend.”

“Got frequent updates and our pup seemed to love the environment! Monika was very welcoming and understanding when it came to certain instructions with our dog will definitely go back for future stays:)”

“Katie did an amazing job with our dog, Casey! Casey was well cared for, loved, and treated like one of the family! She kept me updated and sent pictures! We highly recommend Katie for your dog sitting needs!”

“Alicja was very friendly and took on my fur friend on short notice during a holiday weekend. She updated us with pictures, told us about interactions with other dogs and was very professional. I wish we were closer in distance so doggy daycare would be more feasible. We would use her again!”

“Jen and her family were amazing dog sitters! They took such good care of my dogs and sent me daily photo updates, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I could tell my dogs were happy and well cared for. I truly appreciate all the love and attention they gave them. Highly recommend!”

“This is the second time Russell and Linda have care for our Bobo. They did a great job working around what he needed for activity and being so good to him. We appreciate the availability and quick communication. Looks like Bobo had a good time too!”

“Second time using Luke and Rachel. They are great with Daisy and seem like dog people. Daisy was well cared for, we got updates on how she was doing, they communicate well and pick up/drop off is easy. Will use again!”

“Lucy loved being at Margaret’s and playing with Daisy! Margaret is very knowledgeable about elderly dog care, she put my worries to rest. I will definitely rebook with Margaret!”

“Katie is great with our two dogs and very accommodating to our schedule when needed. This was our second time with her and we plan to use her again if possible. Thanks from Phoebe and Dexter for a great weekend!”

“We did a trial overnight and our Murray came home calm and content. As a senior dog he can take a little longer to settle down in new situations. Theresa and Mike communicated openly about how he adjusted.”

“Lisa was so great with our Conrad! We were in a pinch and needed someone to watch him overnight with not much notice and she took him in like he was her own pup. Wonderful first experience with Rover and especially with Lisa!”

“Patty and Patrick have been absolutely wonderful with Lola. Before her stay, I reached out to let them know that she was dealing with a CCL injury. They had no hesitation in taking her and immediately reassured me that they were comfortable providing the extra care and attention she needed with this injury (and her existing allergies). Throughout her stay, they truly doted on Lola, making sure she was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. What stands out most is how genuinely concerned they are for her well-being. They always take special care of her and treat her as if she were their own. Knowing Lola is with Patty and Patrick gives ‘e tremendous peace of mind. Their kindness, compassion, and attentiveness are evident in everything they do.”

“Sierra was so thoughtful and considerate, very easy to work with as a Rover home for our extended holiday weekend. We loved the daily pictures. Thank you so much, Sierra!”

“We were so happy with the care our three cats - George, Harold, and Pete - received. It can be a challenge to manage a multi-cat household, but everything was handled perfectly. Rylan was reliable, attentive to their different personalities, and kept us updated the entire time. We will definitely book again!”
“Julie watched our two cats while we were gone on vacation for a week. Julie was very professional and trustworthy. We were given text notice with pictures of the cats each day Julie stopped by. Our cats were well taken care of and, in addition, our mail was collected. It really was nice to not have to worry about our pets while away. I’d definitely recommend Julie.”

“Grace is an amazing pet sitter. She has a calm, go-with-the-flow energy and was really great with my cats. I was anxious about leaving them, as this was my first trip since they both started medication. Grace provided me with a lot of reassurance and sent me pictures and updates of my cats throughout my trip. I will 100% be booking with Grace again.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have years of experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities — from very social and playful cats to shy, independent, or older cats that need a quieter approach. Because I was homeschooled growing up, I spent a lot of time caring for and bonding with animals throughout the day, which taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding body language are when it comes to pet care. I’ve also pet sat for years and worked with animals professionally, so I’m comfortable handling different routines, temperaments, feeding schedules, medications, litter box care, and multi-pet households. What makes me different is that I genuinely respect cats for who they are. I understand that every cat has their own comfort level, routine, and personality, and I do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat wants constant attention and playtime or simply someone calm and trustworthy to care for them, I’m happy to provide the kind of care that fits their needs
“Gavin took great care of our dog, Luna, and my brother’s dog, Ike, over the holiday weekend. He was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups and would gladly book with Gavin again. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Anna gave me constant updates and photos of my cats while I was away, and she was so helpful about returning my keys to me after I had a delayed night flight. The boys certainly appreciated her. Thanks, Anna!”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful Rachel is with ours dogs! They are both very particular about who they like and they both loved her right away. She is very reliable and was willing to take on the extra challenges with their health conditions. We’re so lucky we found her on Rover!”

“Lance was excellent at keeping in touch and showing our lonely cat lots of affection. Every picture we got Galena was on their lap. Our cat was very well taken care of and felt comfortable with Lance.”

“This was the first time Jeffery took care of our cat, Nora. He did a great job! I appreciated the photos and report on how she was doing. I am a bit of a worrier and felt very at ease with his communication and updates. I’d highly recommend.”

“Tim was outstanding!! He was on time, had exceptional communication, and made sure to give my guy the extra love and attention he deserves!! I will exclusively be using him for any future services that I book!! 10/10!”

“I can tell by the way Echo is always so excited to see Julie that she has a good time when with her and trusts her. She readily hops up into Julie's car without even so much as a glance back! And I love Julie's calm demeanor, regardless of the action with numerous dogs. And I think the dogs love it too. Echo always comes hope happy and exhausted - exactly what I'm after. :)”

About: I grew up on a farm and my parents were both veterinarians. I love animals and am even tempered. I’ve had a dog my whole life (except during college) and I know how important exercise & companionship are for our furry friends. I’m currently working part-time from home and have lots of time to play & go for walks with your pup. My availability is very flexible. My backyard is fully fenced and a great size. My home is in a central location with great access to walking trails and not too far from the highway.
“Luke & Aria (your sweet Doberman) thanks for providing a great afternoon for GiGi! I appreciate that they could play so well together in your fenced yard, that she had a lot of water and potty breaks and that you gave very good supervision. It was so nice to hear that you would love to take care of her again, to read your nice comments and that you provided cuddle time. You live in such a convenient location near a highway exit and other Rover clients could get a lot of errands done close to your home. We will call again.”

About: I’m confident and comfortable with both dogs and cats, including puppies, senior pets, high-energy dogs, shy animals, and pets that need extra patience or attention. I also have experience with potty training puppies, reinforcing routines and basic commands, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have worked professionally for years as a pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. This has given me experience and confidence in handling different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I also grew up homeschooled on lots of land, so pets have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because I was home during the day, I spent a lot of time helping with feeding, training, socializing, exercising, and caring for animals of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. Monday- Friday I am available any time of day all day. I am also available on weekends depending on the weekend, so please feel free to reach out and ask if the weekend you’re hoping for aligns with my summer plans. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos of their pet to update them on how they are doing. If the pets were in my home, I would do my best to make that temporary transition as smooth and as comfortable for them as possible. Whether that be bringing their own toys or bed, or letting them snuggle in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to. With my schedule being solely dedicated to pet sitting, your pet will never lack attention in whatever ways they need! Whether that’s endless walks and tug of war, snuggles on the couch, or just having a safe hand around to make sure they are picked up after.
“We are extremely grateful for Emily adding Scooter onto her schedule today as we had a funeral to attend to (& something unexpected), but all worked out! Scooter had yet more fun today at Emily’s! Emily is a fantastic sitter! Loves all the dogs she watches! Thank you again for giving Scooter a tail wagging, fun adventure!”

“Cate and Tim and Ainsley were great to Murphy and their place was a perfect playground. Murphy came home happy and tired. It was our first Rover and she had no stress. Highly recommend them!”

“Freya always has a great time with Paige and her family! We love that she gets lots of play time, walks, and comes back tired out. We appreciate the fun pics of her day too :-)”

About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I would love to have the opportunity to spoil your pet as well as give you a safe space to leave your furry friend! Over the summer I am out of work and home with my pups and kids. In late August I will be headed back to work at a school nearby but working relatively short hours. We love to go on walks, to the dog park, the human park or just lounge in the back yard. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a long line. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. In addition, I have 2 kiddos that are incredibly respectful of other pets space and will love your pets as much as their own however they can be crated if needed 😉
“Rachel did a great job with our dog! She was very responsive and flexible. Daisy was so excited to see her on our second visit and gave her tons of kisses. Highly recommend!”

“Philip was awesome! He took our pup at the last minute and communicated throughout the planning of his visit since we were from out of town and booking on short notice. He even offered sights to see in our RV travels as we left! We will definitely book with him if we come through town again. Don’t miss your chance to have Phil care for your furry friend. He’s a gem!”

“Ellen’s wonderful my puppy got to meet her daughter, son, and their dog ❤️🐾. She took really great care of my puppy Vince for the day. I highly recommend her. I had a wonderful first day of work knowing that my puppy was in the best care for the day.”

“Gavin did a SUPER job with our 2-1/2 year old red lab, Ruby! Gavin obviously loves dogs, and Ruby took a shining to Gavin. Gavin always arrived promptly and sent us great photos of Ruby on her walks! We definitely plan on asking Gavin to walk Ruby in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for the past 5 years, including boarding family and friends’ dogs for stays of up to a week. For the past 3 years, I’ve also regularly walked dogs for family and friends, so I’m comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix, which gave me experience caring for large dogs from a young age. I’m reliable, active, and attentive to routines, whether that means regular walks, feeding schedules, or making sure dogs are comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve always genuinely loved being around dogs and enjoy getting to spend time with them. I’m currently home for the summer from college, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can easily work around pets’ usual routines and needs. Since I’m active and enjoy being outside, dog walks and spending time with pets fit naturally into my daily routine. I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. In my home, pets would have a safe, clean environment with lots of space. I have a large backyard for outdoor time and exercise, and I also have a very friendly Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix who is well socialized with other dogs. Since the yard is not fenced, I would always supervise outdoor time and keep dogs safely on a leash when needed. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and work to keep pets comfortable in their usual environment and routine.

“Leann was great! Our pup had surgery and she was extra cautious with him. Asked questions. She truly cares and was a great help for us! Thank you! Highly recommend her and she'll be my first request in the future!!”

About: I grew up on a farm and helped take care of animals since as far back as I can remember. I have done various pet sitting and house sitting jobs over the years, a roommate with a dog and I have my own cat. I am comfortable in the city and the country. Pet owners have commented many times that their pet warms up to me faster than other people. I am a nurse during the day, so it is in my nature to pay attention to details and be a caregiver of both the human and furry variety. I split my time between the eastern side of the metro and Western Wisconsin. My day job hours are flexible in the summer and often work remote, which leaves me more opportunities for house and pet sitting. I sometimes have my two teenage sons stay with me that love animals and are kind and respectful. Depending on your comfort level, I sometimes work as a team with my boyfriend and his service dog. His service dog gets along with other dogs. My boyfriend is also on Rover and trains dogs. We all would be more than happy to do a meet and greet to see if you were open to these visitors. I believe in basic trust and honesty, and making you and your pet as comfortable as possible. I am a good communicator that can follow a plan, but that is also flexible and adaptable to the needs of a pet or family. I like to make sure that everyone is on the same page with expectations and daily communication when caring for your pet or home. Something that carries over from my nursing background is I will leave you a detailed log of what happened while your beloved pet(s) were in my care, to give an extra layer of peace of mind.

“Julie and Jesse have been amazing with my senior dog, Etta. This was Etta’s fourth stay, and each time I appreciate receiving timely updates and know that Etta is well cared for and in a loving home when I am gone. I would recommend Julie and Jesse without reservation. They are great!”

“Kyle provided a comfortable stay for my dog Len's first Rover experience. Even though it was a pretty short stay it was so nice to get pictures and an update on how Len was doing. Will definitely be using Kyle again!”

“Ali was great and communicated to us throughout our trip perfectly. She was very flexible, and Piper seemed to have a great time with her and her family! Would love to go back there again next time”
