About: I have never been without an animal in my life. I know the anxiety of leaving my babies and now as a retired teacher I can provide that same comfort to your baby if you need to leave them. I am a retired teacher and live on an acreage. I am home most of the time and spend a lot of time outside. I do have cats that are good with dogs - if the dogs are good with cats. I have a young energetic mutt mix that looks like a mix of Yorkshire and Rat Terrier. He is friendly to all humans and animals. I have 4 acres of invisible fence. I can train almost any dog to learn the boundaries. Or I can keep your dog on a long leash when we go outside. We have no kids and have quite a relaxed home.

About: I’ve always been a dog person! I grew up with two Cockapoos who I absolutely adored, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. During my first year of masters school, I rescued my sweet Goldendoodle, Lovey. She was 6 at the time and is now 9, and she has brought me more joy than I could ever put into words. I work full-time as a mental health therapist at a school, so my typical work hours are 7:30 AM–3:30 PM. During the workday, I’m still able to let dogs out before work, during my lunch break, and right after work. Once I’m off for the day, I’m pretty flexible and happy to work around your pup’s needs! Whether that means going for a walk, taking a car ride, getting some extra playtime in, or just hanging out and getting lots of cuddles, I’m happy to make it work. Your pup will be treated like family while they’re with me! I live in a cozy apartment with my sweet Goldendoodle, Lovey, and we have access to a fenced in dog area where your pup can safely run around and get some energy out. My oldest dog is almost 3 and I have also have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I have watched and walked other dogs for friends and family overnight and for extended periods. I could pet care in the summer almost every day, since I am a teacher. Some things may come up, but I have a pretty flexible schedule. I would prefer to care for pets in my home during the day to make the pet more comfortable. I am able to play with, feed, bathe, walk, etc. I have a fenced in backyard! I would love if you are ok with my 11 month aussiedoodle came with on walks or house sitting.
