About: I’ve had my dog Zelda for eight years now. Still, each day is just as fun as the last. Her personality is never a challenge, and I love to play with her and take her on walks. My extended family also has many dogs I grew up with, so I am experienced with different types of dogs. I typically have free time in the mornings, as well as in the afternoon. Very willing to be flexible. My weekends are almost always open during the day; and that would be the best time for me to do longer days of care rather than just a couple hours of watching your pet. In my home, my yard is not fenced, so Zelda is usually on a handheld leash (for quick outside time) or on a long leash (usually tied to the ground) when she wants to do her own thing. I always am supervising her outside to ensure her safety. I am very willing to adapt to different ways of having your dog be outside, as long as I am informed of them beforehand. When inside I always keep a close eye on my dog, as she tends to get into trouble here and there. I always make sure I have toys on hand, as well as treats. About: I have 5 amazing dogs of my own, 1 pitbull, 2 American Eskimo mini and 2 Pomeranians. I had 2 liter of puppies from my dogs (1st liter was 10 pups, 2nd liter was 5 pups) and was able to raise them well for their furever home. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. About: I’ve been caring for pets longer than I can remember - from helping grandma with her horses and barn cats to spoiling and training our own dachshund puppy and two amazing kitties - I am well equipped for any situation. Some background for me: I was born and raised in Alaska! There I took care of cats of varying abilities/disabilities/age, dogs of all sizes and abilities/disabilities/age, and fish! There’s been instances where I have stayed over a month to look over a special needs cat, and dug my car out after a heavy snow to make sure a hyper puppy gets a good hike in! Now I’m here in Minnesota to finish college, start life with my new husband, and take care of the pets in Southern Minnesota! I’m currently still a student! Otherwise, I will make sure to check in on your pets between classes to ensure they don’t go more than four hours alone. I can’t have a pet in my apartment right now 😭 but when I’m back home in Alaska, we had a fenced area for our dog while she was still with us, and we have two full-time indoor cats. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.
