About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026 and will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my fix of dogs! I’m currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner with our British lab, Lilly. Live in Madison Lake but willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter, for pet sitting or dog walking. About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. I’ve never met a pet that I haven’t loved, and past employers would describe me as dependable, easy-going, and kind. Now that I am starting school again, my hours of availability have become a bit slim. However, my weekends are entirely open, and I have enough time between classes to provide service to any animal who needs my attention. About: I currently have the privilege of sharing my home with two cats: Phoenix, my 12-year-old senior queen, and Maize, my energetic 10-week-old kitten. She's my little soul cat. Caring for Maize is a little more hands-on. Before each meal, we have a short play session to satisfy his hunting instincts, followed by mealtime and either more play or quiet time depending on his energy level. Maize has been in new experience in caring for a kitten so young. We found Maize after he came running out of a corn field wide eyed and fill of cockleburs. It was never a question in my mind as to whether he would be the next member of our family, and now we are the proud parents of a 10-week-old, black kitten. It has been a completely new experience, but so incredibly rewarding. He has come from hiding behind the toilet and hissing at any movement, to demanding face to face nudges and kisses several times a day. It has been so fun to get to know this small, new little life that will create so many amazing memories for our family for years to come! Now, the admin side of kitten care has involved scooping litter boxes multiple times a day, keeping his space clean, and creating a schedule of healthy amounts of play and rest. I also regularly care for my friend’s cat, Remi. When her family is away, I visit several times throughout the day to make sure she's well cared for and has company. I love hiding her food around the house to provide her a little extra enrichment and always offer as many pets as she'll allow before she lets me know she's reached her limit and gets a little spicy. Every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one's unique personality while respecting boundaries.

I have had my own dog since I was about 19, but have had outdoor farm dogs for as long as I can remember. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. About: I recently transitioned from my role as an outpatient therapist to explore roles that allow me to be more emotionally and physically present in my own life. I have recently decided to transition from my previous role as an outpatient therapist and have plenty of time for visits and walks sprinkled throughout the day. I am available M-F from 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM for drop-in visits/walks/etc. I currently live in a two-story home with my three pets Phoenix (12-year-old cat), Gibson (9-year-old Golden Retriever) and Maize (10-week-old kitten). Each of my pets have aspects of our home set up to meet their individual needs, whether that is areas to climb, separate spaces for their food/water, windows to see the world through and full access to all the cozy spots. I love taking slow walks with Gibson, and allow him time to sniff and snoof whatever he pleases along the way. However, the weather in Minnesota is not always friendly for walks during the day. On these days I will often create enrichment activities for Gibson such as peanut butter/water "pupsicles", hiding kibble around the living room for him to sniff and find, peanut butter bones (when we are at a happy weight) and just overall pets and snuggles. As for my cats - Phoenix enjoys quality time most of all - so I try to carve out special time for us to exist in the same space, with pets as she pleases. She also enjoys playing with her wand toys, catnip in her cat tree or snoozing in one of her many enclosed beds or window hammocks. My 10-week-old kitten's (Maize) care involves more consistent responsibilities throughout the day/week. I play with him for a short time before his meals, feed him, offer some alone time or more play (depending on his energy level) and typically put him in his safe room for some time after this to rest. I repeat this three times a day, with the night play session being longer and more energized. I scoop the litter box morning, afternoon and evening. There are many days I have to clean his bottom, paws or space due to a poop fiasco - I have gotten good at making this quick and painless. I also spend a lot of my time redirecting and teaching the lesson "Fingers are not toys" (if you've had/have a kitten you understand). Overall, I do my best to create a safe, healthy and predictable environment for my little housemates!

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I have the biggest soft spot for them, and I have two dogs of my own. I have had my own dog since I was about 19, but have had outdoor farm dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and other small animals for as long as I can remember. I am patient, detail orientated and I truly just love spending time with animals. Big or small, I love them all! I do work during the day, but I have the ability to pop out if/when I need to. I am free evenings and weekends. My schedule can be flexible if needed. I have a dog friendly home. To me this means there’s nothing but toys on the ground. Garbages are hidden and I am very aware of what is around my animals. I also have a dog park in front of my apartment!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats and currently have two very energetic black labs! They sure do keep me on my feet but I love my fur babies. I absolutely love dogs and I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including those with quirky or shy personalities. I can take him/her on a long walk, explore any new parks, play fetch, and maybe even try to learn a new trick! I’m currently working part-time! I am available Tuesday and Thursday to exercise and spoil your fur baby! I love taking dogs for walks but I wouldn’t mind dog sitting either. I will constantly keep your dog on a leash and when approaching other dogs keep them protected. I will also ensure their safety when approaching busy streets or cars. Your fury baby will always stay in my line of sight.

About: I have grown up in a household full of rescue dogs of every breed and mix. In my neighborhood, neighbors have asked me the past few years to watch their dogs and even some cats. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. I've always had a pet dog/cat or both.. currently both. My schedule is currently very open daily, weekly, weekends very flexible. I intend to prioritize pet care in hopes of building a good business base for the near future. Pets in my care get all the love and attention. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.

About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026 and will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my fix of dogs! I’m currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner with our British lab, Lilly. Live in Madison Lake but willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter, for pet sitting or dog walking. We have a great home for dogs, so am happy to do pet sitting in our home too. We have a small British lab but she is not in the house much; she is a sweet, lover dog that prefers to hang outside in her luxury kennel outside. We walk her twice daily, and she gets along with all dogs we meet.

About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. I’ve never met a pet that I haven’t loved, and past employers would describe me as dependable, easy-going, and kind. Now that I am starting school again, my hours of availability have become a bit slim. However, my weekends are entirely open, and I have enough time between classes to provide service to any animal who needs my attention. In my home, I live with my cat London, and four other housemates. If your animal stayed with me, they would never feel alone and would always have somebody in the house that can watch them or be there for all their needs. We have a lovely backyard full of grass, a back deck for lounging and sunbathing and a large neighborhood for daily walks. Your pet would feel like a king or queen in a castle! :)

About: I have fostered any age dog for 3 years! Have a dog of my own for 10 and grew up on a farm with many dogs and cats. Also going to school for a vet tech.
