We ran into a few hiccups returning from the airport during bad winter weather and Chris was incredibly understanding. Yes, Chris made my experience very pleasant. Yet, most importantly after 9 days I came home to a happy, well adjusted puppy! This speaks for itself. As a Shorkie our puppy is sensitive to separation anxiety. Being with Chris she definitely got all the attention and love that is used to getting at home. I am so grateful for having peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of while we are traveling. About: Hi! I’m a middle school teacher, mom to 4 busy kids, and dog mom to ‘Jersey’ our mixed rescue. My house is a welcoming home away from home for your pup. Now that my kids are a bit older, I have a lot of time to give to your pup in the summer and would treat them like my own. I LOVE getting outdoors and walking as much as my legs can allow. Summer break allows for our family of six to enjoy the neighborhood. I have the flexibility to be home daily. Although my children are in multiple activities, I am always close to home. I will be out and about quite often driving kids to different places, but are never gone for more than a few hours. I am able to leave and take your pup for a quick walk multiple times a day, or welcome them into our house over the course of a couple days. My house has a fenced in yard in a nice family neighborhood. Our dog has her base camp on our upper level den, but we have a safe and separate area for your pet in our lower level that will be all theirs! I will walk multiple times daily and care for your pet as my own. My family has lots of love and cuddles to give if needed, but if your pup is more of a recluse, they can adjust accordingly!

About: My love for animals goes well back to when I was 4 or 5 and I was in charge of letting our neighbors dog out while they were on vk. (my mom was really there ;)) I always loved the 2 cats we had I'm sure but my love started growing for all animals when I took on that letting the neighbors pets out. Through highschool I volunteered when I could at the animal shelter a couple cities over and dreamed about owning my own training and boarding facility when I graduated. Well life pushed me into college and a career and 10 plus years later here I am with a degree I don't want a career in.... I'm going back to my dreams and would love for your dogs to be a part of the start of it! I have 3 fur babies of my own a cat and two dogs! All three rescues and loving life! Any questions feel free to reach out! Cant wait to meet everyone! I currently work Monday through Friday 8 to 5 as an intake coordinator for a hospital from home. My love is animals so all my spare time goes to fostering and volunteering for ruffstart along with taking care of others furbabies. All pets deserve lots of love but discipline when needed. I believe in positive reinforcement but some pups need a little more guidance and a shorter leash than others.. I plan on following owners directions and requests but offer guidance if wanted or needed. If all you want me to do is let your fur babies out and spoil them rotten I would absolutely love doing that! For boarding and doggy daycare I have an older resident dog so we can only take laid back submissive dogs for now. We do habe the capability to separate if she needs a break. We have a big Shepard mix that loves to play with everyone at only 3 years old!

About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. About: I've been caring for animals since I was in 6th grade when I'd regularly animal sit for one of my neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog, 3 cats, and 2 bunnies. Since then, I've become a dog trainer and can deal with a wide variety of dogs, including dogs with additional care needs. I'm an AKC evaluator and I spend my free time competing with my dogs in a variety of sports! I take special care and pride in the animals I care for. I believe that a well exercised pet is going to be an easier companion and leads to a much happier family life. I have 3.5 acres for your pet to romp around. This will include things like loose leash walking, distraction training, and more. Mental stimulation will tire your dog out faster than physical stimulation so this exciting mixture will leave you with a very happy pup! Of course, if you prefer no training, I'm happy to go along with what you prefer! Lastly, I try my best to create the best relationship with the animals I care for. This means I want your furry friend to love me as much as I love them. I prefer to meet your pet and at least one owner of your pet before continuing into a service. This isn't a requirement, but a strong preference. Especially for extended stays. I work hybrid so I spend 50% of business days working from home. On the weekends, I don't have to go in-office. My entire life revolves around my dogs and adding your pet into our routine will be an easy transition! I have an unfenced yard on 3.5 acres. I have 5 of my own dogs. My dogs will crate and rotate indoors with your pet depending on their needs. I prioritize putting dogs together that I'm confident will get along. All of my dogs are friendly and play together easily. I can also put your dog on a separate schedule so they're not interacting with any other pets during their stay.
