I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. About: My house was known as the zoo. Reptiles, ferrets, birds, a goat, horses, a pony, dogs, cats, prying mantis. I have experience with most kinds of pets. I have helped raise dachshund and fostered dogs and cats. I have three days a week and start work at noon. Plenty of time to watch, or just drop by to make sure they are given some extra love. I have multiple cat towers and walkways for them to explore. I live in an area with lots of walking paths. I have a big yard to play in.

I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. Along the way, I took many classes to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. However, once I graduated, I was at a loss of what to pursue. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. I have spent countless hours learning through hands on experience, shadowing other trainers, signing up for seminars/conferences and taking courses through a Pet Professional Program. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. I target each category (nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation, physical activity) to make sure their needs are met. I work with dogs daily and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. Every dog is treated like my own. I would never put an animal in a situation that isn't environmentally safe for them or puts them at risk. Safety involves having a safe place, being aware of what a dog is trying to tell you, having water available, following the established nutrition routine, allowing play, freedom (within reason), and providing daily enrichment.

I enjoy playing with pets, taking them on walks, and giving them the love and attention they need. If you’re interested in socializing your dog, I can also take them to dog parks. I work fully remote & can devote lots of attention to your pet. On weekends i like to be outside when possible but don’t typically leave the house for more than 4 hours when dog sitting. I am open to crate your dog while I am away/ at night, letting dogs run in their yard if fenced or if they have a collar and under my supervision. I am uncomfortable with letting your dog roam around the yard without any restrictions unless they are trained. The last thing i would want is for your dog to run away.
About: I love animals in general, but have a special patience with dogs. I am able to care for any type of dog. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician so I would be able to care for any dog or cat even those that need medical care. I have worked in veterinary clinics and hospitals, along with boarding facilities. I have earned a lot of experience in working with all kinds of animals. I am currently working part time at a boarding facility. So I have quite a few days off during the week to spend some time with other pets! I will come to your home to care for your pet as they will feel safer there. I will observe their behavior and go from there, I will only do what makes them comfortable if that means remaining calm and hanging out or going outside and playing ball or tug.
About: I’ve had a dog in my household for as long as I can remember! My family has had golden retrievers throughout my life, and my brother currently has an adorable golden puppy. Unfortunately I can’t currently have a pet as I’m just graduated from college, so dog sitting or walking will help fulfill my love for dogs! About: I have been an animal lover my entire life! I treat my cats like they are my children and I would do anything for them! I would take care of your fur babies as if they were my own! I also love dogs, I've had many dogs in my family growing up. I don't have the living space needed for a dog while living in an apartment. I would definitely have one if I were able! Also, while dog walking, if there's another dog near and the you're dog seems uncomfortable or threatened, I would move to the other side of the street or walk the other way to remove ourselves from the situation. Whether it be for a walk, potty break, comfort while you're away, socializing and training your puppy basic commands (and maybe a few tricks), or even just taking your furry friend out for a pup cup and to a sniff spot, I'm the gal for you. I will even provide litter or doggy doo doo cleanup for an additional price. Your pet will always be safe and loved in my hands. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.
About: I have been around animals my entire 33 years of existence. I grew up raising German Shepard's with my dad. I have no problem working on basic commands and potty training. I work full time (occasionally from home), but I am available to run over to let your animals in or out to potty before work and around lunch time. After 6pm & on weekends, I am home all evening/night so I can keep your fur baby comfortable as well. I have a gated area in my front yard for my own friendly fur babies, they can keep yours entertained. :-) We go on frequent walks when the ground is cool.

I have experience across the board with all different breeds, ages, needs and disabilities when it comes to both cats and dogs. I have experience issuing medications, treats, or dealing with wound care if needed, crating, scheduling for behaviors ie: potty breaks, walks, etc.. I love to hike and walk, so taking your dog (or cat) for a walk is right up my alley, weather permitting per owner preferences. Right now, I am a full-time psychology student and I can work from any location. My two cats are strictly indoors. However, my dogs are crated indoors when in suits (they are large dogs). We live in town, whenever they are taken outdoors, they are taken on a leash and when they are taken for a walk, they are also taken by a leash. Both dogs are seniors and prefer the indoors, so they’re mostly house dogs at this point. We have an upstairs and a downstairs in our home. Since our dogs are getting older, we now have dog beds placed in multiple places, since the stairs are getting difficult. As for the cats, they have multiple cat trees, several toys, multiple cat boxes and more than one eating station throughout the house! They may be pets but they are family!
