Kitty always tells me when to back off and I do because they deserve personal space too. Whiskers and Oreo are quite affectionate, so I do my best in giving them all the pets they deserve. When I met one of my friend's cat, they were skittish of me since I was a new person to them. So I took my time with them by letting them approach me first and sniff my hand. I made sure not to give direct eye contact towards them since that will make them nervous. I also talked in a soft tone so my friend's cat doesn't get scared by me. It took a bit of time, but my friend's cat let me pet them, which I was very happy to do. It made me feel special. I believe I'm adaptable to how I should approach cats when I first meet them.

About: The thing that I was most excited about turned 18 for was finally being able to join Rover. I have been dog sitting for 5 years and have owned a dog for 11 years. I have always had the biggest love for dogs. One thing I love to do in my free time is frequently visit a shelter to go and give each one of them a little extra love. 😊 My goal is to give my clients a worry free experience and to always make sure they know there animal is in good care. I used to have a dog that was a senior and improvised ways that I helped them with, like using one of the sofa cushions as a chair my dog could use to go on the bed. Another example was putting pills on a butter knife that had a dab of peanut butter in it and gave it to my senior dog. I'm good at listening to instructions and guidelines that you need for me to take care of your pets. I will also give them space when they tell me. If they're skittish of me, then I'll be patient with them by letting them sniff my hand, not give eye contact at them, crouching down to their level, and talking in a calm tone. Currently I am not available to do dog boarding in my own home however I would love to take your fur babies on a walk Only able to service the city limits of La Crosse, Onalaska, and La Cresent I would be more than happy to watch your animals at your home. I do my best to respect your family and your belongings while I am in your home.

About: I grew up with dogs and other animals my entire life. I enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. I am home full time so your pet will have full time care. I have recently retired and I am available to care for your pet full time on week days as well as weekends! Your pet is never alone and gets all the attention she/he will ever need! So bring their bed, feeding dishes, toys and their brush so we can take care of all their needs. I have a fenced in yard. I always focus on maintaining each pet's normal routine— whether that's mealtime schedules, daily walks and playtime. All pets are allowed on the furniture.
About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.
