About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. “Erica K. was a wonderful choice for boarding Lydia, a terrier mix, over a long weekend. She was kind and patient, and really took the time to get to know our dog and family. She was willing to both pickup and dropoff, which made the whole process so much easier for our vacation. Erica sent frequent pictures and videos and kept us updated to our dog's situation. She was also open about how her pet sitting style was approached in her home and property. In addition, it was quite apparent that the dogs they sat would have plenty of outside exercise, love and attention, as well as freedom to be a dog. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. Not only do I highly recommend her services, but I will also be a returning customer to both Rover and her pet care. ~DR”

“Erica and Ciara were AMAZING with our little Cavapoo puppy. She was so well taken care of, and we received lots of updates while we were gone about our puppy and what she was up to. Lots of photos too to help with being away from her. Could not recommend Erica and Ciara enough!!!”

“Janelle and Chris were incredible to our two dogs. We have a red healer/aussie mix young dog with a lot of energy that we get nervous to leave behind. But Janelle and Chris made us feel at ease with their experience with caring for dogs and their daily updates on how our dogs were doing. We will definitely be using them in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Karlie took great care of my pup during his stay. He got along well with her dog as well. They got a lot of both play and nap time together! He also came home with a cute bandana! (Thanks again for that). She is responsive, kind and truly loves to care for animals.”

“Ty did a great job taking care of my dog, Jackson. He was always quick to respond and sent regular updates with photos. Jackson has been dealing with hip pain and limping, and Ty was especially attentive to this, keeping me informed throughout his 3-night stay. Highly recommend!”

“Our Sweet Bella struggles with separation anxiety. We needed to find daycare for her while we were visiting family in La Crescent. Ty did an amazing job at working with her. He was flexible, patient, and did what he could to make her feel comfortable. He kept us informed with how she was doing and was prompt at responding to any messages.”

“Laura has a lovely home, dog heaven. We could tell right away that dogs were the Priority. Cooper just loved their fenced in yard because after we picked him up, he slept for hours exactly what a mini golden doodle puppy needs for all that energy. We highly recommend Laura for pet sitting!”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”

“Angela was excellent with my dog, Vaida! Vaida struggles adjusting to new surroundings, but Angela was a pro with her. Angela provided consistent communication & I was able to stay updated throughout the week. It was great to know Vaida was in good hands.”

“Gilman's experience with Erica was outstanding!! He has tons of energy and she knew how to keep him busy. He was showing some obnoxious behaviors when we got to her house. She was so understanding and just knew how to keep him busy and get him tired out. She shared photos with me through texting which allowed for reassurance on this first time experience for me. I highly recommend Erica and we will be visiting again! Thanks for everything Erica (and all)”

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.

About: I have over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, from raising puppies into adulthood to understanding how their needs change throughout different stages of life. I’ve learned how important it is for dogs to have healthy outlets for their energy, plenty of attention, patience, exercise, and a routine that helps them feel happy and cared for. I currently have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks and runs, as well as three cats with their own unique personalities. Having both dogs and cats has given me experience understanding the very different ways animals communicate, build trust, and show what they need. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets who may still be learning their manners or training. I believe every animal deserves patience and the opportunity to feel safe, appreciated, and understood. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, companionship, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I want to provide the same level of care I would want for my own animals. 🐾 With a flexible part-time schedule and a love for walking my own dog on the daily, I enjoy sharing fun, fulfilling walks with other dogs too. I’ve always been an animal lover and happiest when I’m spending time outside! I have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks, runs, and little adventures, along with three cats who each have completely different personalities. Growing up around animals has taught me that every pet is different and deserves patience, attention, affection, and plenty of time to just be themselves. I love getting to know each animal’s personality and finding what makes them happiest—whether that’s an energetic walk, some playtime, exploring outside, or simply having someone there to give them attention. I’m also completely comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and dogs who may still be working on their training or manners. I believe they deserve just as much patience and care while they’re learning! My goal is to give your pet a fun, positive experience while making sure they’re safe, cared for, and getting the attention they deserve. 🐾
