About: I first met a cat when visiting a friend’s house as a young teenager and immediately fell in love. Having grown up with only dogs, I was new to the difference in care and companionship that cats entail. Safe to say I was smitten. I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was a baby. I have always enjoyed being around animals and playing with them and building trust with them and being able to cuddle with them on tough days. I have had different types of animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamster, bearded dragon. I currently work part time as a nanny on mondays and Friday and I also currently am trying to create my own business of refurbishing furniture when I have the time. So I am available most days. About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.
About: We live in a large two story townhouse that provides lots of indoor play space. We live in a townhouse community that has a large common area in the front and back. We also have a deck that your pet can lounge on. We live near lots of walking paths and a dog park. We also live near the edge of town and close walking distance to the river. My husband and I have five children who love pets of all kinds and are full of energy. I work a full time seasonal job so I will have more flexibility come the winter months. Our weekends are generally free. During the week is a bit hectic with having five kids in school with various activities. We have an unfenced yard but live close to dog parks. About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of dogs and cat my whole life. I currently have 1 cat and 2 small dogs in my house who get along and also have their own space when needed! I do work during the day but I’m usually available before/after and on weekends. My mom does live with me and she works from home so she is able to help out during the day with bathroom times. I’m willing to host animals overnight if they seem like a good fit! My dogs have always used an invisible fence but any visiting dogs will be on a leash unless told otherwise. Dogs typically get 5+ bathroom breaks a day and are encouraged to go outside for a good 10 minutes each time. Pets are allowed on the furniture and bed, because they’re considered family. Cats are typically left in the (finished/liveable) basement separate from the dogs, unless the cat wants to venture upstairs then be my guest.
