About: With almost 7 years of professional experience, you can trust that your pets are in good hands! I grew up on and around farms, so I have experience with pets ranging from dogs and cats, to goats and chickens, to lizards and guinea pigs and more. Now, I have my own little zoo at home, which includes a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs, turtles, and fish. I started my professional experience at the age of 16, when I started working at a doggy daycare. Once I moved to the Duluth area, I continued caring for pets through Rover and similar sites. In the last few months, I have started my own business petsitting and dog walking. In addition, I have done volunteer work through animal shelters and worked closely with dog trainers to expand my knowledge and experience with pets of all kinds. I currently work full time Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, as well as 9am-3pm Saturdays and 5pm-9pm Friday and Saturday nights. In order to make sure that my pets are getting all the love and attention they need, I will no longer be able to do overnight visits on weekdays. I am more than happy to stay over on weekends and do drop-in visits during the week, though! I love spoiling my pets, and would love to do so with yours as well. Currently living in Minneapolis, I have one larger dog named Gros tet (big head). He melts like butter and plays according to the animal visitors play type! When you book with me know your animals are in good hands, I will ask questions before the final book to make sure it is a good fit for you and for me. Communication is key in my eyes, and I love sending photo updates throughout the day! 2019 I left the active duty military, and my husband of 3 years is still active duty Marines. (So if you have an energetic pup that needs some run time we would be happy to accommodate!) when it comes to grooming, I operate my at home salon…well at home… could be good for some doggies and not so much for others. I work full-time during the week but I am always on the go and able to help with pet sitting, dog walking, helping with caring for animals as needed. I am available for house-sitting depending on the days/times. When I go to someone's home to care for their pet I will treat it as though it is my own pet, which is with the utmost care, kindness and love.
