About: I am a lover of all things animals. I grew up with dogs and around cats. I volunteered at the Animal Humane Society in the Twin Cities for two years. I am also familiar with taking care of birds, reptiles and Guinea pigs for short periods of time. I am a teacher, so during the summer I am available most times of the day. I do like to travel on some weekends, but am open during typical work week hours! I am great at following directions. About: I have owned a dog my entire life. We live in the country with a large (unfenced) yard and acres of woods behind us that the we can walk the dogs on. We also have a large outdoor kennel. My son is 12 and also is great with taking care of dogs. I work from home and my son will be out on summer break soon so they will have plenty of attention. We have a 6-year-old chocolate lab who is great with other dogs and loves to play. We've raised our dogs from the puppy stage, so have experience with puppies as well. About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I grew up with long haired dachshunds. I have also owned labs, a Dalmatian, huskies, you name it. I love big cuddly dogs the most, but will love up on the smallest to the biggest dog the same. I also have a big heart for senior pets. I work full-time during the week but I am always on the go and able to help with pet sitting, dog walking, helping with caring for animals as needed. I am available for house-sitting depending on the days/times. About: I grew up with dogs in the house and they have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was often left alone with my pets and my family relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with them. I have also taken care of friends’ and neighbors’ pets while they were on vacation. Some of these duties included overnight visits, daily check ins, and transport to daycare. I will be leaving the country on June 7th to study abroad and will be returning August 3rd. I am looking to work before then and will be able to pick jobs back up once I get back. My schedule is usually pretty open as I do not work another job during the school year! I’m happy to visit your pups day of if I am available! I live right next to Leif Erickson park so I can easily take your dog for walks in a beautiful, outdoor environment. My house is very dog friendly and open so your pup can move around as needed. I am comfortable kenneling your dog if needed and will spend as much time as possible getting to know them and gaining their trust.

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”
