We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. In the past 3 years we’ve welcomed almost 50 fosters into our home, many with behavioral issues. We currently have two rescues that are our life - and we want to welcome your pup into our home. We are heavily involved in the rescue world. We crate train, work on obedience, have the tools for a smooth transition, and go on walks multiple times a day. I currently work from home and am active on breaks with walks, training, and providing puppy love. We believe in routine and keeping dogs on a schedule. We watch our dogs, crate and rotate if needed, and always walk with a secure harness or harness lead. We allow pups to transition as long as they need as being away from home can be stressful!

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

About: I have taken care of pets for family members and friends on and off for the past 5 or 6 years. Typically, for a period of a week at most, and anything from housesitting to drop-ins, to walks. Most of my experience is with medium-sized dogs, but I can make friends with any breed. The dogs I've taken care of most often for home stays have some German Shepherd in them, so I understand the activity level and mental stimulation they and similar breeds need. I am currently working a part-time position as a server, so my shifts during the week and sometimes weekends are, at most, 5 hours. This gives me more freedom during the day to spend quality time with your pet. When doing an extended stay in a clients home, I like to establish a little play and walk routine with your pet. Typically, about 15-20 minutes after meals, I like to take them on their walks, and I fit spurts of play-time throughout the middle of the day so they can remain occupied. If I have my own chores to accomplish, I like to give pups an activity, whether that be a bone or a kong, and I supervise their "quiet time" while I'm doing my tasks. Also, if there is a specific dog park that your pet loves, I'm happy to take them so they can socialize and be a goof in the grass. I will shower your pet with affection as if they were my own, and if your pup needs a cuddle, I will cuddle them back.

“Lely and Mark were wonderful with Elsa. They gave her walks, played with her, and made her feel right at home. They also did a great job updating us daily with photos and a summary of the day. We hope to have Elsa stay with them again soon!”

They took extra care to fit him with an invisible fence collar and walk the perimeter (we are used to having invisible fence at home), gave him a bath, and let him sleep in their bedroom with Milo (at our house he only gets to sleep in a bed when grandma’s visiting!). And they sent lots of pics with Astro with a big puppy smile on his face! Thank you Chelsea and Nate!”

They loved the large fenced in grass yard— they were in dog heaven! Kelly sent photos and kept me posted on how my pups were doing. I so appreciated the updates since Kelly graciously took them at the last minute (due to a funeral in the family). I will definitely contact Kelly again— thank you!”
