“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I’ve had my dog Zelda for eight years now. Still, each day is just as fun as the last. Her personality is never a challenge, and I love to play with her and take her on walks. My extended family also has many dogs I grew up with, so I am experienced with different types of dogs. I typically have free time in the mornings, as well as in the afternoon. Very willing to be flexible. My weekends are almost always open during the day; and that would be the best time for me to do longer days of care rather than just a couple hours of watching your pet. When I am not at school I have more flexibility during weekdays. In my home, my yard is not fenced, so Zelda is usually on a handheld leash (for quick outside time) or on a long leash (usually tied to the ground) when she wants to do her own thing. I always am supervising her outside to ensure her safety. I am very willing to adapt to different ways of having your dog be outside, as long as I am informed of them beforehand. When inside I always keep a close eye on my dog, as she tends to get into trouble here and there. I always make sure I have toys on hand, as well as treats. Whenever I am taking care of a dog I always try to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

I don’t provide my home for sitting at this time due to my own pets and the limited space, and I’m a strong believer that your pets are more comfortable in their own homes. Overnight stays I don’t do with new clients, but can change with more familiarity. Due to this a potty break before bed is given, and I will be there in the morning for another potty and breakfast. I will also hang with your pets during the day on and off, and do any extra activities requested that fit with my schedule. I strive to maintain cleanliness when providing care at a client’s home. I will always clean up after myself and animals after a long stay. I try to stick to routines, but sometimes may need to adjust with my job. About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 and live on a 6 acre farm where the dogs can run and play all day. I’m currently between jobs but anticipate that my next work will be WFH so I can care for the dogs and other farm animals day in and day out. While the yard is not fenced per se, I do have invisible fencing if your dog is used to that system. I have 3 of my own dogs that know the boundaries and stay within them.
