I'm super familiar with dogs, but have also cared for more cats than I can remember- and even some rats! About: I've had cats in my life since I was a baby and care for 3 of my own. My cat Luna who has now passed was THAT animal in my life, if you know what I mean. I raised her from 3 weeks old and taught her to play fetch, do some basic commands, and to walk on a leash. Oreo loved playing with their sweet pup Bailey in their securely fenced yard and soaking up all the loving pets from the whole family. I also really appreciated the chance to do a meet and greet ahead of time so Oreo and Bailey could meet and make sure they were a good play match. About: I work remotely in marketing full time. We’re very grateful to have a nice home with a wonderful, large, fenced-in backyard that allows the dogs to go potty in and explore (bark!). My availability and hours are very flexible and the dogs are rarely left alone or kenneled, they are free to roam the house, I just close doors as necessary. I have never owned a dog of my own, I just grew up around dogs and cats. Mainly and most recently, it was a sisters two dogs our family spent the most time around: Gibbs (15 lb., 13 yr old, male Jack Russell Terrier & Beagle mix) and Zero (65 lb., 5 yr old, male Standard Poodle). I would basically Rover for her and her husband, which including giving the senior, anxiety-ridden dog meds (he didn’t enjoy, he would spit them up). We enjoyed being outdoors and evening walks around the neighborhood and having them a part of our family. They have then since moved to the West coast with their dogs. I work remotely and am blessed with the work-life balance it offers. I have an energetic elementary school-aged daughter. She's an empath and truly cares for all animals wellbeing! She's deeply concerned about any discomfort or distress. We have a dog-friendly orange cat named Buddy (4). He's fed first thing in the AM and enjoys chin scratches. He stays nearby me in my office or does his own thing. My daughter buses to and from school and I take a hour lunch at noon, then am done at 5 PM and we go about our evening routine. Dogs go out every few hours (sliding patio door) to the fenced in yard or when they signal me. Right in the morning and before bed. I try to get as much activity in for us as possible, especially on decent weather days. We utilize a nearby parks, dog park and walking trails in our community. Having the dogs here really motivate me to go for more walks, the dogs love them and I appreciate the eager walking company. I also live with my younger sister (23). She works full time 2 jobs as a CNA/retail, isn't home much but does help me care for the dogs, such as a short walk around the block. Our home is a 4 bed, 3 level split with a finished basement. It has a large secure, fully-fenced in yard and the property has 11 trees. Garage is attached. We all sleep in the upstairs bedrooms which is also where my office is. I have 2 litter boxes for my cat, one in garage that he prefers. The other is in the basement bathroom, where I can keep the door shut (Ive caught sisters dog eating litter covered turds). Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I have a reflective sash I wear out at night (this summer I was nearly ran over by an SUV when it was dark). The dogs usually sleep on the floor in my room and it's OK if they sleep on the bed, I am not concerned about fur. If the dog stinks, I can give them a bath either downstairs in the wash tub or upstairs in the bathtub. If they stay longer and start to stink, I will bathe them, because everyone feels better after a bath.

If you board or book a daycare service in my home, please know I have 2 "medium" "pittie" mixes- (they're just mutts with less hair) Panda is 5 and a beagle mix (50lbs F/S), and Peanut (60lbs M/N) is about 15 and a boxer mix. Panda is incredibly well socialized and LOVES fetch. Peanut is socialized but is very much an old man who prefers to sleep on the couch... like all the time. They've each had numerous foster brothers and sisters of all sizes, and are e-collar trained, so behavior on their end should never be an issue for your dog. I have a split level home that can securely board multiple dogs, and house them depending on their needs. I also have a fenced in deck, but not yard, though we have about a 1/4 acre lot in a quiet residential area and are working on making a dog run! Any boarding dog would be taken out to potty on a leash, preferably with a harness provided by the owner. I have a crate large enough for most (80lbs~) big dogs, but I'd still recommend bringing your own if possible. The only other person present in my home would be my husband, who possibly loves dogs even more than me(?) and is always happy to play with them! I'll never have strangers or children present in our home while your pet is staying with us.

About: I absolutely love dogs of all breeds. I am very familiar with the “bully breeds”, and larger breed dogs. I love cuddles and exploring, playing with toys, and meeting new friends at doggy parks. Working from home allows me to not have to leave your babies home alone for more than a couple of hours if I need to do errands. My 12yr old loves all animals and is willing to keep your babies active or relax and lay around. We can be a very active household, but we like to have a relax day here and there as well. Our favorite time of day is walking or running outdoors. We are pleased to have any age dog around! When your pup is with me, they will be loved and treated as if they have been in the home with us their entire life. I currently work from home so have plenty of flexibility. We have a big yard with plenty of pup toys, we are very observant and make sure everyone is doing good at all times. About: I have a dog of my own, MinnieBean. She is a Portuguese Water Dog and is a bundle of joy. She’s quite shy around hoomans but loves other dogs :). I have had 8 great years looking after 2 dogs from a family I work for, and other dogs in between. I will make sure to feed, play and take out your fur baby when needed and make their comfort and happiness my priority. I have also administered medication too if needed. I do require a meet and greet first to make sure my service will be a good fit for both of us. I also have a toddler, so if the service will be in my home, they need to be great around kids :). About: I work with all different kinds of dogs anything from puppies to senior dogs. I have token puppy training classes and know the basics and I have cared for meny senior dogs. Helping with stairs and special diet. I have worked with animals that have diabetes and skin conditions. I offer a team of people me and my Boyfriend work together to offer the best dog care. My daughter even helps out where she can. With that background, I'm comfortable caring for cats and dogs with medical needs, of all ages. I am most comfortable with small and medium dogs that are easy going and like going for walks! I work remote from home and have flexibility to adjust as needed for weekdays and weekends. I do need advance planning for anything more than a drop in. It's deeply personal to come into someone's home and care for their fur baby, I understand completely! Part of the planning process involves asking questions about your needs, preferences, expectations so we are in the same page!
About: As a former Kennel Supervisor, Kennel Attendant and Certified Pet Care Professional, I've got years of experience working with pets both in private homes as well as boarding/daycare facilities. I'm super familiar with dogs, but have also cared for more cats than I can remember- and even some rats! I was previously certified in Animal (canine and feline) CPR through the Red Cross as well as trained in basic diagnostics for medical emergencies. I'm comfortable administering various medications to both cats and dogs, including oral, topical, and intravenous medicine. I've cared for kittens, puppies, dogs of every size, temperamental animals, and quite a few senior dogs and cats. Special diets and or feeding rituals are just fine with me, every animal is different. I'll be the first to let you know if I don't think I'm the right fit for your pet, but I'm always willing to do a meet and greet with a client. Other than drop-ins to feed, water, change litter boxes and play for awhile, I walk dogs (weather permitting) and can potentially board canines in my home if they get along with my own pups. *I can pass a background check and provide references upon request* Most weekdays I'm available to drop in to homes prior to 2pm, but this can change due to the needs of in home daycare or dogs I'm boarding. Feel free to inquire about whatever services you need, I'll do my best to work with you! If you board with me the routine for my dogs is always the same- they get fed right around 6am and 6pm, with bathroom breaks immediately after, and then as needed throughout the day. Walks (if requested) usually occur around midday, with occasional trips down to the River Valley (a mile from my house) if the weather is nice enough to explore the nature preserve. After dinner I try to make sure everyone is comfortable enough to wind down for the evening, but we can still play indoors if we need to. Dogs are welcome to sleep in crates or in our own bed, as long as there's room! For drop-ins or dog walking services, I'll always bring my own first aid supplies (styptic powder, liquid bandage, tick removers, hydrocortisone spray, gauze etc.) and if none are provided, I have cleaning supplies for accidents as well. If your pet is allergic to any cleaners or first aid products please let me know. I'm always respectful of clients homes and privacy, and am happy to send you a picture of your pet during an appointment for full transparency, whether I'm walking your dog or babysitting them! I also totally understand if you have cameras in your home, I do as well. If you board or book a daycare service in my home, please know I have 2 "medium" "pittie" mixes- (they're just mutts with less hair) Panda is 5 and a beagle mix (50lbs F/S), and Peanut (60lbs M/N) is about 15 and a boxer mix. Panda is incredibly well socialized and LOVES fetch. Peanut is socialized but is very much an old man who prefers to sleep on the couch... like all the time. They've each had numerous foster brothers and sisters of all sizes, and are e-collar trained, so behavior on their end should never be an issue for your dog. I have a split level home that can securely board multiple dogs, and house them depending on their needs. I also have a fenced in deck, but not yard, though we have about a 1/4 acre lot in a quiet residential area and are working on making a dog run! Any boarding dog would be taken out to potty on a leash, preferably with a harness provided by the owner. I have a crate large enough for most (80lbs~) big dogs, but I'd still recommend bringing your own if possible. The only other person present in my home would be my husband, who possibly loves dogs even more than me(?) and is always happy to play with them! I'll never have strangers or children present in our home while your pet is staying with us.

Litter boxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned weekly. They are fed half wet feed half dry food diet and fed portion sizes, not free fed. We have pet insurance so take them to the vet as we see fit - more than yearly! When I lived with my parents and their dog we would do daily walks/hikes and I also helped train him!

In the past, I've taken care of one of my dogs, who had many health issues, so I'm experienced with senior or special needs animals. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
