About: I first met a cat when visiting a friend’s house as a young teenager and immediately fell in love. Having grown up with only dogs, I was new to the difference in care and companionship that cats entail. Safe to say I was smitten. I’ve taken care of cats for 13 years now, and have lived in multi cat households. I’ve raised 5 kittens over the course of the years and have experience with senior cats as well. I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. “Jennifer took wonderful care of my dog while I was away, and I really appreciated how attentive and communicative she was throughout the stay. She sent daily updates, checked in about any concerns, and was very thoughtful when my dog didn’t want to eat the first day — which is normal for her in new environments. I also appreciated the time she took to have us come over beforehand so we could meet her and her dogs and make sure it was a good fit. She was responsive, caring, and clearly experienced with dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and would absolutely recommend her to others.”
