Personalized care for your dog or cat - Garrison

“Jennifer was great! Her home is nicely set up for pets and and her secured backyard was great for my small pooch who likes to explore (and sometimes escape). I didn't have any communication issues as Jennifer was very responsive to messages and I received a few updates during my dog's stay. My pup was happy and looked comfortable in the home when I picked her up, all good signs of a trusting dog sitter. I also appreciate her flexibility with my booking. I definitely recommend Jennifer for dog sitting services.”

“They were really fantastic. The dogs seemed to have a blast and were kept busy (which is a necessity for Australian Shepherds). They took good care of them.”

Jeni L.

“Eric has been our go to sitter when I need someone to watch Willow. He responds very fast and is able to let you know if he is available or not as soon as he knows. Sometimes when I am behind schedule on my travels; Eric is always willing to come pick her up. Willow loves staying at his place because of all his land and room to run in the woods. On top of being reliable, Eric is very caring to Willow and enjoys watching her as much as Willow loves to spend time away there. Always will be a loyal Roger user because of Eric. Thank you!!!!”

Jessica M.

“Very nice and responsible! Ruby was excellent with communication and sent me lots of pictures and videos during my dog’s stay. Leaving my dog in such good hands helped me have peace of mind while we had to leave him during the Holidays 🫶🏼 Would definitely recommend Ruby!!”

“Krista was amazing, great communicator, my Jay loved her dogs, it was all around perfect and I’m so grateful! Will definitely rebook if needed.”

“Kay's home was perfect for Mabel. After spending a weekend at a nice dog hotel, we discovered Mabel thrives more with the home vibe and more personal human interaction. Kay provided a beautiful setting on acreage that's a mix of safety with space. I liked that there weren't multiple dogs other than their friendly golden retriever Brandi that Mabel became friends with. Kay kept us updated daily with words and pictures which I really appreciate. I highly recommend Kay and will definitely go back!”

Sheila C.

“Very very happy to find Chad. He has a convenient location. I think our Golden was the luckiest dog being with Chad. It’s obvious how much he loves dogs. I could rest assured our Ginger was happy.”

Vicki E.

“Loved working with Ashley, she always kept me up to date on how my dogs were doing, she took the time to understand the needs of each of them personally. She had an amazing set up in her garage so each dog had their personally space. Wonderful fenced in yard for them to be safe while having a place to have fun. Definitely would book with Ashley again.”

About: My husband and I have fostered over 30 dogs in the past 4 years. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for over 20 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including multiple dogs at once. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ve also fostered dogs, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and making pets feel safe can be. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated while you’re away! I work Monday through Thursday during the day with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, Fridays, and weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays depending on my schedule. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and give them plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and a safe, welcoming home where pets can relax and feel comfortable. I have friendly dogs of my own who are used to other animals, but I’m also happy to keep pets separated if that makes them more comfortable. I’m comfortable with crates, feeding routines, walks, medications, and special instructions. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated while they’re in my care.

“Andrea took great care of our dog!! She kept us up to date with pictures, videos, and check-ins! Our dog can be super shy when meeting strangers but she felt comfortable in her care. Highly recommend Andrea!!”

Madalyn K.

“Nick took excellent care of our dog over a long weekend. We appreciated the clear communication, frequent updates and pictures, and flexibility. Nick gave our dog lots of walks and outside time and was also available for a quick meet up with us before the stay to make sure it was a good fit for his home with two dogs of his own.”

“Sara was great! Maya had a blast and was well taken care of. Her place is private and welcoming and I would 100% book with her again! Thank you!”

“We are very grateful to Amy for the joyful care she provided to our kittens on our recent short trip. When she came to visit and meet our pets, we immediately felt comfortable with her and confident that our four-footed family members would be in good hands. Upon our return our home was neat and tidy, and the kittens were happy and healthy. The kitten playroom showed that she had spent time in play with our very active felines. We give Amy a five-star review and recommend her without reservation.”

Steve C.

“Jennifer is the real deal- a true animal person, dedicated to giving quality care to our beloved pets. My cat Timmy had never gone to someone else’s house before this- Jennifer made him feel right at home, offering a calm and loving environment that I was able to see first-hand via her amazing videos. I feel so lucky to have found this option. She will make future traveling easy and stress-free!”

Liz D.

“Emily did a good job keeping me posted of thing’s happening while away and of course kept the cat fed. Thanks!”

Norman A.

“Shaelie is such a passionate care giver for animals. I could tell during our meet and greet that she really enjoys caring for animals. She made an exception to sit my rabbit shaped cat and was clear with communication and socializing with my rabbit seems natural for her. The photos she sent me definitely reflect a happy visit with my rabbit. 10/10 we would book again!”

Maddyx-Cordelia S.

“So happy we found Rachel to watch our cat while we were out of town. Rachel is very reliable and was willing to do a meet and greet before we left, which was important to us. We will definitely use Rachel again when the need arises!!”

About: I live with two cats—one’s mine, and one’s my family’s—so I totally get the cat life. Whether your kitty wants to play, nap, or just be left alone but still feel safe, I’m all about meeting them on their terms. I’m super patient, gentle, and know how to read their mood. I’ll make sure they’re comfy, fed, and get plenty of love (if they want it!). I pet sit for my grandparents cats when they are on vacation.

About: I grew up on a farm with many farm animals along with many dogs and cats. As I got older I worked for dog a dog training company and my love for animals has grown immensely! I currently have a fish named Blueberry but would love to be out in the community to be able to help you and your family with dog or cat sitting. I am currently a college student I have classes for a couple hours a day and my weekends are free so I’m here to help. I currently like in an apartment that I can not have pets in so I can help take care of your pets in your home. I can go for walks or play with them for a while I know animals like a schedule so I’d like to make sure that your animals feel safe and happy.

“Highly recommend Jennifer for your furry pets! We have a four month old lab and I wasn’t comfortable leaving him at a kennel. Staying with Jennifer was like him staying at home with comfortable surroundings and more personal care being taken care of in her home. Will definitely use her again!”

Dawn G.

“Chris was absolutely amazing with our dogs! They had a great time going for walks in the woods and adventuring while we were away for a family day. Highly recommend!”

About: My family and I love pets! We would love to have your dog stay with us and enjoy all the comforts of home! We have children who are sure to give your pet loads of extra attention. I am a (mostly) stay-at-home mom! This means your pet will have near constant companionship while in our care. They will be loved, cared for, and treated as a member of the family. We have a fenced in yard and go for a lot of walks! Your pet will be hanging out with a family, not left alone in a kennel.

“Ruby was great with my 4 month old puppy for doggy daycare! She sent lots of pictures, was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and was very communicative.”

Rose E.

“Everything was great!”

About: After losing my Malamute, Winter, I decided to open my home to care for dogs and cats after seeing there was a shortage of caretakers in my area. My services include extended stays, drop-in daycare, walks, and recurring visits. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows for regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I do have three kitties of my own that have a separate, safe space upstairs, away from any dogs that don't do well around cats. I also have a Great Pyrenees puppy, Yeti that is a super happy, go lucky boy that just loves to play with other dogs. I work from home full-time, so I can offer around-the-clock care for drop-ins and doggy daycare in my home, whether it's one day, a couple of days, or an extended stay!! So you don’t have to worry about potty breaks, playtime and feeding schedules while you’re away. Just drop them off for the day or an extended stay. I have a fenced-in backyard where your dogs can run and play. I can offer several potty breaks, walks and playtime. I don't kennel dogs unless the owner specifically requests.

About: I love all cats and dogs! I have 3 dogs and 6 cats of my own. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and I just like meeting pets and their owners. I have no problems or concerns with any breeds. I feel comfortable administering medications. I am able to follow specific directions and can handle a variety of emergency situations. I am a true animal lover and my pets are my family. I would treat your pet as such when you are not with them. I am a teacher, so during the summer months, I am basically available 24 hours a day if needed. When school is in session, I am unavailable from 7 am to 4 pm on days when school is in session. I have 5 acres with a small lake. We do not have a fenced yard, but there are woods around our house that separate us from our closest neighbors, who live in the Twin Cities area and use the house as a cabin. My pets are my family, and I spoil them. Our animals are allowed on the furniture. I have a 6.5-year-old female yellow Lab mix, a 3.5-year-old male pitbull, and now a puppy, Taurus. All of my animals are fixed. I have 3 male cats who live inside, ages 6 to 9. We also have 3 cats: a mama (age unknown) and her son and daughter (who will be 1 year old in the summer of 2026), who are outside/shop cats. The cats are not declawed. I have 2 adult boys who love animals, as does my husband. We rarely have visitors, and those we do have are family or very close friends. We have a gate to separate our upstairs and downstairs if needed.

“Emily is great! She responds in a timely fashion and is super flexible. She takes great care of my furbaby!”

About: My house is a great place for dogs to stay in the Brainerd Lakes area, I have plenty of room in the house, and have 13 acres of wooded property for them to enjoy when we go outside! ***Fall 2023 update**** I now have a fenced in backyard to utilize with pups coming over to visit! I have had a dog of my own growing up for 12 years. Currently, though I do not have any dogs. I used to volunteer part-time to train future service puppies for the blind for over 3 years. ( I have worked with 9 or 10 dogs in the Leader Dog for the Blind program) I have a flexible schedule, and I'm always willing to figure out a solid plan with potential people who need a sitter for their awesome furry friends. I am capable of working and looking after dogs with medical needs as well :). I have worked in probation, law enforcement, corrections, and mental health for over 11 years now. I am a very energetic person who enjoys exercising, and enjoy bringing dogs for walks. I have been on Rover for 4 years I enjoy traveling the world in my free time. ***I respond to requests generally within 10 minutes*** I have a pretty flexible schedule so I will do my best to assist with whatever drop off or pick up time you may have :). I now have a fenced in area in my backyard. My driveway is about a 1/4 mile from my house to the road so traffic is not a concern. I can crate if requested.

“Always on time and very flexible with scheduling. Great dog walker!”
