About: My husband and I have fostered over 30 dogs in the past 4 years. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for over 20 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including multiple dogs at once. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ve also fostered dogs, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and making pets feel safe can be. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated while you’re away! I work Monday through Thursday during the day with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, Fridays, and weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays depending on my schedule. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and give them plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and a safe, welcoming home where pets can relax and feel comfortable. I have friendly dogs of my own who are used to other animals, but I’m also happy to keep pets separated if that makes them more comfortable. I’m comfortable with crates, feeding routines, walks, medications, and special instructions. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated while they’re in my care.

Dog Boarding (In My Home – Female Dogs Only) For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I only board female dogs. My Australian Shepherd has a strong personality, and keeping our home harmonious means I cannot accept male dogs. Female pups are always welcome, and they’ll receive lots of love, playtime, and cuddles in a safe, home environment. I work full-time from 8–5, but I’m happy to stop by during my lunch break for local drop-ins to take your sweet guy or girl out for a potty break, walk, or some love. I’m available after 5 PM, all day on Wednesdays, and all weekends. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love—whether in my home or yours. I use gentle, positive, and respectful handling with every pet My goal is simple: your dog gets to have a staycation that feels like it was made just for them. 🐾 I’m an online student and a freelancer, so I make my own schedule and I’ll have plenty of time for your furry friend! About: I've had cats pretty much my whole life. For the longest time, I preferred them over dogs! However, I'm to the point in my life where I love both dogs and cats equally. 🥰 When I worked at Ames Pet Resort in Ames, IA, they offered lodging for cats so I took care of many different kitties. From mean, to anxious, to super lovey dovey ones! I've also given them their medicines, though needles are a little tough for me with cats... but I'm very willing to learn! I currently have my own house cat and she's my little baby. 🥰 She loves to snuggle with me right away in the morning and right before bed. I got her from a farm down in Iowa and it took her a few days to get used to me and my dog, but once she was used to us, she was following us around the apartment everywhere! And now that I live in a house, she has a whole house to explore and a new kitty to play with! After I got Athena, I got her spayed and updated on her shots. She didn't like taking her medicine, but she let me do it anyway, which I was super thankful for at the time since I worked a lot at the time. I love to play with her whenever I get the chance, and my dog often joins us in play time. ❤️
About: We've owned a wide variety of dogs since I was little. Taking care of them and helping care for others pets has always been a passion of mine. We recently had a litter of eleven puppies. From newborn to elderly I've helped train, care for, and love them all. I currently work full time but have evenings, Fridays, and weekends off. I enjoy taking evening walks and would love to make some new fur friends while doing so. I treat anyone's pet as if they are my own. I respect any boundaries or special training requests others might have for their fur babies.

About: I live with two cats—one’s mine, and one’s my family’s—so I totally get the cat life. Whether your kitty wants to play, nap, or just be left alone but still feel safe, I’m all about meeting them on their terms. I’m super patient, gentle, and know how to read their mood. I’ll make sure they’re comfy, fed, and get plenty of love (if they want it!). I pet sit for my grandparents cats when they are on vacation.
“Heather was great!!!! She contacted me with problems and sent pictures. She took amazing care of our kitties while we were away. She made a stressful weekend away for us a little easier. We will definitely book her again!!!”
“Zara did an exceptional job coming to our home to feed and let our 2 large dogs out. They have a lot of energy and are demand attention. Zara did a great job with each of them and their individual needs. Highly recommend Zara as a pet sitter!”

“ruby took great care of our doggy ! she she was very kind and flexible with our drop off/pick up times. we are extremely pleased and would highly recommend.. 10/10. she also provided great pictures and updates of our girl 😊”

“Chris and Ashley were great! Archie was tuckered out and had so much fun playing. They were open about anything we had questions about and listened to our concerns as Archie can be a LOT to some, but they handled him so well. We'll be back for sure!”

“Highly recommend Jennifer for your furry pets! We have a four month old lab and I wasn’t comfortable leaving him at a kennel. Staying with Jennifer was like him staying at home with comfortable surroundings and more personal care being taken care of in her home. Will definitely use her again!”

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. I like to think I treat them as one of my one while keeping in mind if the owner has and rules or requests of their own.
About: My family and I love pets! We would love to have your dog stay with us and enjoy all the comforts of home! We have children who are sure to give your pet loads of extra attention. I am a (mostly) stay-at-home mom! This means your pet will have near constant companionship while in our care. They will be loved, cared for, and treated as a member of the family. We have a fenced in yard and go for a lot of walks! Your pet will be hanging out with a family, not left alone in a kennel.

About: I adore all animals (especially dogs!) and take pride in prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, and fish! I'm committed to providing the same level of love and care for others that I provide for my own pet, a wonderfully wiggly cocker spaniel. I have professional experience training my spaniel on wildlife detection work, and I understand the needs of high energy breeds. I received two degrees from the University of Nebraska; a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Two of my favorite activities include spending time outside, and giving lots of love to animals. I am currently working to build on my existing client base and have lots of time to play, walk, or keep your pet company. Have any questions? Ask away! I can accommodate your preferences- whether that's providing company, playing, exercising, or doing some scent work exercises to work your pooch's brain! The safety of your pet is my number one priority. On walks, I practice situational awareness and always keep an eye out for off-leash dogs or other potential hazards.
About: I am comfortable with puppy sitting, I pet sat for more than 5 family’s and along with this gig I am also a professional nanny! I work part time so this fits right into my schedule and I’m also able to stay over night if needed on a request basis Whether I’m staying overnight or stopping by for a drop-in, I care for your pets like they’re my own. I stick to their routine as closely as possible—meals, walks, playtime, cuddles, or just quiet companionship—whatever helps them feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I’m gentle, patient, and always respectful of your home, keeping things clean and just as you left them. I also make sure you stay in the loop with updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in loving, capable hands—whether it’s for the night or just a quick check-in.

About: My house is a great place for dogs to stay in the Brainerd Lakes area, I have plenty of room in the house, and have 13 acres of wooded property for them to enjoy when we go outside! ***Fall 2023 update**** I now have a fenced in backyard to utilize with pups coming over to visit! I have had a dog of my own growing up for 12 years. Currently, though I do not have any dogs. I used to volunteer part-time to train future service puppies for the blind for over 3 years. ( I have worked with 9 or 10 dogs in the Leader Dog for the Blind program) I have a flexible schedule, and I'm always willing to figure out a solid plan with potential people who need a sitter for their awesome furry friends. I am capable of working and looking after dogs with medical needs as well :). I have worked in probation, law enforcement, corrections, and mental health for over 11 years now. I am a very energetic person who enjoys exercising, and enjoy bringing dogs for walks. I have been on Rover for 4 years I enjoy traveling the world in my free time. ***I respond to requests generally within 10 minutes*** I have a pretty flexible schedule so I will do my best to assist with whatever drop off or pick up time you may have :). I now have a fenced in area in my backyard. My driveway is about a 1/4 mile from my house to the road so traffic is not a concern. I can crate if requested.
About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.
