About: My husband and I have fostered over 30 dogs in the past 4 years. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for over 20 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including multiple dogs at once. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ve also fostered dogs, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and making pets feel safe can be. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated while you’re away! I work Monday through Thursday during the day with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, Fridays, and weekends. About: We've owned a wide variety of dogs since I was little. Taking care of them and helping care for others pets has always been a passion of mine. We recently had a litter of eleven puppies. From newborn to elderly I've helped train, care for, and love them all. I currently work full time but have evenings, Fridays, and weekends off. About: I've had cats pretty much my whole life. For the longest time, I preferred them over dogs! However, I'm to the point in my life where I love both dogs and cats equally. 🥰 When I worked at Ames Pet Resort in Ames, IA, they offered lodging for cats so I took care of many different kitties. From mean, to anxious, to super lovey dovey ones! I've also given them their medicines, though needles are a little tough for me with cats... but I'm very willing to learn! I currently have my own house cat and she's my little baby. 🥰 She loves to snuggle with me right away in the morning and right before bed. I got her from a farm down in Iowa and it took her a few days to get used to me and my dog, but once she was used to us, she was following us around the apartment everywhere! And now that I live in a house, she has a whole house to explore and a new kitty to play with! After I got Athena, I got her spayed and updated on her shots. She didn't like taking her medicine, but she let me do it anyway, which I was super thankful for at the time since I worked a lot at the time. I love to play with her whenever I get the chance, and my dog often joins us in play time. ❤️

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

About: My house is a great place for dogs to stay in the Brainerd Lakes area, I have plenty of room in the house, and have 13 acres of wooded property for them to enjoy when we go outside! ***Fall 2023 update**** I now have a fenced in backyard to utilize with pups coming over to visit! I have had a dog of my own growing up for 12 years. Currently, though I do not have any dogs. I used to volunteer part-time to train future service puppies for the blind for over 3 years. ( I have worked with 9 or 10 dogs in the Leader Dog for the Blind program) I have a flexible schedule, and I'm always willing to figure out a solid plan with potential people who need a sitter for their awesome furry friends. I am capable of working and looking after dogs with medical needs as well :). I have worked in probation, law enforcement, corrections, and mental health for over 11 years now. I am a very energetic person who enjoys exercising, and enjoy bringing dogs for walks.
