I’ve trained my own dogs through three levels of obedience and raised five of them from the time they were 8 weeks old and took care of them through their elderly years including in pup wheel chairs. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. About: Hello! I have always had a love for animals especially dogs and cats. I had my own dog, Charlie, who had complex health issues and unfortunately is no longer with me. He made me comfortable with giving medications, insulin/allergy shots, and following instructions with dietary restrictions that I can also provide your pets with when needed. I currently work full time M-F, but my schedule is flexible during the week and most weekends. I have also been employed for over a year with a company in the F/M area providing pet care services in people's homes. I LOVE what I do and always looking for more opportunities to meet new furry friends. My schedule is flexible and I respond quickly to text/phone calls or email when reaching out looking for pet care. I'm able to do morning shifts before I head to my full time job M-F, lunch breaks, and after work. I can often move my schedule around if you need other times throughout the day too. Just ask! To ensure safety and a stress-free stay for everyone: -Dogs must be comfortable in a home environment -No severe separation anxiety (must be able to settle when I step out briefly) -No destructive behaviors (chewing furniture, doors, crates, etc.) -No aggressive behaviors toward people or other dogs -No escape artists (must respect fencing and gates) -Up-to-date on vaccinations and flea prevention -Friendly with children and other dogs I work from home in an office upstairs. Currently, my pets are able to roam freely throughout the house. I am able to do 10-15 minute walks in the morning, (longer during lunch, afternoon, & in the evening. I have a fenced in yard. The pets are able to roam freely throughout the house, or I am able to coral them to one side of the house when we leave. Dogs will be crated during the night.
About: I’ve got 4 years of experience for caring for others dogs. Bathing, feeding, walking and snuggling! I’ve owned pets all my life! In school to be a vet tech! I’m currently working part time. I will make sure my schedule fits yours if I choose to accept the board. I will be available all holidays too. I live alone at the moment I have a decent sized apartment with parks and walking trails near me. I feel this is best when helping high energy dogs.
