Regina's affection and comfort with animals (including the very HIGH energy type like my Rocket) was evident from the start, and she graciously extended a welcome to me as well, walking me around the property and showing me the places where Rocket would be staying. I left with the greatest confidence that my girl was in a good place. Rover Support and Expectations: I received photo and video updates. Any communication from me was answered within minutes of my sending. Unexpected changes to my itinerary were received and graciously accommodated, and Regina maintained a flexible and fluid disposition with regard to scheduling, which allowed me to make on-the-fly adjustments to my day plans for cycling and adventuring. I let your animals tell me how they want to be approached and handled. I don’t force myself on any creature, those both with fur and scales.

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs our whole lives and we owned a small dog for 15 years. We are often one our neighbors and relatives call when they need a pet sitter. We are excited to meet new dogs and families and offer pet care. Our home is warm and welcoming and we like to give pets a lot of attention. We currently have Loki, our friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, who loves other dogs, playing outside, and spending time with our two boys. Boarding with us means your dog will be welcomed into a real home — not treated like just another booking. We only board one dog at a time, which allows us to give your dog plenty of attention, keep the environment calm, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We do not have a fenced yard, but we have a large, wooded yard (.6 acres) where dogs can safely enjoy time outside on a lead. We also live right by a regional walking/biking trail, so frequent walks and outdoor time are easy and part of our routine. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I have experience giving medications, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and helping dogs settle into a new environment. I am active and outdoorsy, so dogs who enjoy walks, playtime, and being part of family life will fit in well here. For everyone’s safety and comfort, visiting dogs must be potty trained, kid-friendly, and non-aggressive. They do not need to be crate trained. We are not currently accepting puppies. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a safe, loving, active place to stay where they get the kind of care we would want for our own dog. My husband and I both work from home on alternating schedules, so caring for dogs are part of our normal daily rhythm. We are available throughout the day for potty breaks, attention, feeding, walks, and check-ins. We live right on a regional trail, which makes daily walks easy, and we also spend time outside in our large yard with dogs safely on a lead. We can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, but crate training is not required. We are happy to follow your dog’s feeding, medication, walking, and sleep routines as closely as possible to help them feel secure.
