Personalized care for your dog or cat - Essig

About: I’ve had multiple dogs and cats since I was a child, and have been dog/cat/housesitting since 2020. I’m a small business owner (massage therapist and virtual assistant) and former librarian. I’m currently self-employed and have some room in my schedule for additional business so I have several days a week available to dedicate to pet care. We also just recently lost our 17 year old chocolate lab/australian shepherd mix so I will be happy to spend time with your pup. I have yet to meet an animal who doesn’t like me, so we will be bffs in no time! I will keep you as in the loop on how things are going as you would like to be, with pictures and updates. Our cat Finn is very curious about and fond of dogs, so as long as they are ok with him, they should be good buddies.

About: I was the kid hanging out in the neighbors dog house when my mom couldn't find me. Ive had a number of dogs since early on. Currently I have 4 dogs that run our household. We treat our dogs with love and kindness and reward with positive feedback. I would like to believe that people want the best for their pets, and with my care they will be treated as you would or better. I work from home currently and have access to let the pups out as needed. The fenced yard is high. They love the space and freedom of no leash. I have a fenced yard and 4 large dogs that play well with others. I do have a separate space if nessecary to keep them separated. I like to engage with the pups to keep them busy.. Hopefully if we play long enough they sleep well for me and you.

I currently have Great Danes of my own, so big dogs are absolutely welcome here! I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, medications, senior dogs and the everyday care that comes with making a pet feel safe and comfortable. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own while they’re staying with me. My work schedule rotates, which gives me several days off at a time and plenty of time at home with the dogs. I keep my Rover availability updated so I only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats and am especially comfortable with large and giant breeds. I have two Great Danes of my own and understand introductions, supervision and giving dogs their own space when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, exercise, medication and sleeping routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home.

About: I’ve owned cats for many years, my current baby is a young lady I found in a parking lot last fall and we immediately fell in love with each other. I work in the pet care industry so I am very familiar with all of the less glamorous tasks needed to keep your baby healthy and safe. Whether you need me to administer medication or deal with litter box troubles, I’m your guy!

About: I absolutely love dogs of all breeds. I am very familiar with the “bully breeds”, and larger breed dogs. I love cuddles and exploring, playing with toys, and meeting new friends at doggy parks. Working from home allows me to not have to leave your babies home alone for more than a couple of hours if I need to do errands. My 12yr old loves all animals and is willing to keep your babies active or relax and lay around. We can be a very active household, but we like to have a relax day here and there as well. Our favorite time of day is walking or running outdoors. We are pleased to have any age dog around! When your pup is with me, they will be loved and treated as if they have been in the home with us their entire life. I currently work from home so have plenty of flexibility. We have a big yard with plenty of pup toys, we are very observant and make sure everyone is doing good at all times. I am a dog trainer as well so know a lot of different skills to work with most dogs.

About: If you are anything like me I find it stressful to leave my fur babies in someone else's care. I can provide a safe loving space for your fur kids to stay. Between a spacious home and a large privacy fenced shaded backyard for them to explore and play, we hope your pups will find our home a relaxing environment to stay. Our pups are our kids and are treated as so. We have owned dogs all of our adult lives and feel we understand dog behaviors. While you are away we will provide around the clock care in a safe loving environment. Whether your pup is a social baby and would like to lounge next to people or more comfortable in there own space I have the ability to meet those needs. Safety is a priority. With the large fenced in backyard, this gives the pups the ability to go outside and do their business, lounge, explore and play without the fear of run offs. Since I have always had dogs and cats it has been a priority to make sure my home is pet safe.
