About: I’ve gotten a lot of practice in dog sitting with 2 different roommates I lived with who had dogs, whether it only be an overnight of caring for them or an entire trip’s worth time. About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for all kinds, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. My family has always been full of pet lovers and our home has always welcomed animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up,I learned how to care for pets kindly, patiently, and responsibly. I currently have a cat of my own, and she truly is my pride and joy. I also regularly care for the pets of friends, coworkers, and family members when they’re out of town or need extra help. I would love to provide that same level of care and peace of mind for you and your pets! I work full-time, but have the option to work from home whenever needed, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m especially available after 4 PM, but I’m happy to make other times work as well. I can bring my work computer with me if needed and take breaks as I please, so I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any special needs they may have. My home is calm, clean, and pet friendly. I make sure doors and windows are secured, remove any potential hazards, and provide plenty of space for pets to relax and feel at home. I’m very attentive during walks and outings and always use leashes, unless otherwise instructed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and worked hard to build trust so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in my care.

About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with labs and I am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. I also helped out taking care of my neighbor dogs from time to time. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. This summer I also work part-time at Festival. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 5:30pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.
About: Empty nester, retired, and happy to share my home with your pup. We had a wonderful pup for 17.5 years and sadly he passed over the rainbow bridge about three years ago. I know how important it is to have a good home for your pet when you are out of town. I’d be happy to give lots of walks, belly rubs and love! I have a fenced yard but prefer to walk dogs for potty breaks. Experienced with senior pups. I am an early retiree and have remained active, however, have the time to care for a dog. I have walked, sitted and boarded for WAG for over four years. I work at a pet care facility from 4-10:30 I am able to come check on your pup in my home (I have a roommate that will check on fur babies and make sure they aren’t getting into anything. I have my son the second and fourth week of each month for those whose pets are not child friendly. Overnights are more than welcome whether he is here or not because he gets in his high chair after he is done playing in his room when he wakes up so he’s not in their way until about 9:30 AM! I have a giant fenced yard and everything is typically put up due to having kids around the house and a habit of making sure everything is put away.

About: I’ve pet sit for many friends and many different animals. I am reliable to feed, walk, and potty your animals. I’m comfortable around all animals. I’ve grown up having pets and adore all pets. I am available most days for intermittent care for pets during the week. My work schedule is consistent, 9:30-630 Monday-Friday during the summer and 12-6:30 during the school year. I am a student at UWL so I have classes but normally am able to create a schedule with you around them fairly easy. I have grown up with a very active family because we have always had very active dog breeds, I love taking them for walks/runs and would love to do the same for your pet. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle.
