About: We had a poodle and then a cat in the house when I was a kid. Since then I've lived with several different cats and have been helping to look after friends' pets of various species when they're out of town or unavailable. I completed a course by the Professional Pet Care Association to become a Certified Pet Sitter and Dog Walker. I typically start my primary job at 3pm so late mornings and early afternoons are great for drop-ins or walks. Thursdays and Fridays are my normal days off so I'm available to spend more time with your pets then. About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. So whether it be house sitting with the animals or simply doing some walking or activities, I don't mind and will enjoy my time with them. Its something I enjoy as one of my hobbies. I’ve been a professional dog trainer for 5 years now, and can give meds as needed. I work full time at a pet store, but if needed I can do potty breaks on my lunch break (depending on how far your house is away from my work). I can do pretty much any wake up time/morning routines so your dog isn’t too stressed. I work til 8 or 9:30 T/W/Th so they might have later nights than normal, but the rest of the days are more flexible. I will stay with your dogs, and follow your instructions. If they’re better in the crate at night, I’ll crate them, if they’d rather sleep out free, they can do that. I try not to change their schedule/routines too much whenever possible.

She sent daily updates, checked in about any concerns, and was very thoughtful when my dog didn’t want to eat the first day — which is normal for her in new environments. I also appreciated the time she took to have us come over beforehand so we could meet her and her dogs and make sure it was a good fit. She was responsive, caring, and clearly experienced with dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and would absolutely recommend her to others.”

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of dogs and cat my whole life. I currently have 1 cat and 2 small dogs in my house who get along and also have their own space when needed! I do work during the day but I’m usually available before/after and on weekends. My mom does live with me and she works from home so she is able to help out during the day with bathroom times. I’m willing to host animals overnight if they seem like a good fit! My dogs have always used an invisible fence but any visiting dogs will be on a leash unless told otherwise. Dogs typically get 5+ bathroom breaks a day and are encouraged to go outside for a good 10 minutes each time. Pets are allowed on the furniture and bed, because they’re considered family. Cats are typically left in the (finished/liveable) basement separate from the dogs, unless the cat wants to venture upstairs then be my guest.
