“I appreciated Dayjah being able to take Willie on short notice for 24 hours when I had to go out of town. He came back happy, and tired! The only glitch is that Willie didn’t take well to Dayjah’s cat, so she had to keep him separated from the kitty and that was probably an inconvenience for Dayjah! Willie apologizes and blames it on the fact that he’s a JRT, and the only other acceptable animals on the face of the planet are dogs. Ohhh, Willie… Thanks, Dayjah!”
“Donald was fantastic with my 2 dogs that he boarded for 7 days. My dogs loved it there, it was the perfect environment for them while I was away, as close to a setting of just being at home as I could have imagined possible. This worked great, especially considering my youngest dog had never been boarded anywhere for overnight. They both fit in and adjusted well quickly. They got used to their new routine quickly, and the youngest really liked the electronic doggie door. It was just all around a great fit and will definitely be contacting Donald again for all future boarding needs”

About: My house was known as the zoo. Reptiles, ferrets, birds, a goat, horses, a pony, dogs, cats, prying mantis. I have experience with most kinds of pets. I have helped raise dachshund and fostered dogs and cats. I have three days a week and start work at noon. Plenty of time to watch, or just drop by to make sure they are given some extra love. About: Dogs are lovable and a helping career is fulfilling. By helping humans with their canines I get the best of both worlds! Dogs have always been apart of my life, and recently we had our own 13yo mutt who came as a puppy, had a long full life, and passed away in my husband’s arms. Before that we had another mutt that lived to be 16yo, but she was a pound puppy we got at about 2yo. Also, our dog-niece lived with us for January 2024 while her parents vacationed. About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need. I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you! I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! I like to go for walks, and like it even more if I have company. I also always enjoy a good snuggle.

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. Along the way, I took many classes to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. However, once I graduated, I was at a loss of what to pursue. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. Whether it be for a walk, potty break, comfort while you're away, socializing and training your puppy basic commands (and maybe a few tricks), or even just taking your furry friend out for a pup cup and to a sniff spot, I'm the gal for you. I will even provide litter or doggy doo doo cleanup for an additional price. Your pet will always be safe and loved in my hands. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

About: Hello! Animals have always been apart of my life. I have been a groomer, Canine education instructor, as well as I've done dog boarding. As a child I had a dog walking service. I am currently a foster through Second Hand Hounds. As I currently have 3 dog's myself. I can deal with about any situation when it comes to pet's. Friend's and family have always asked me to care for there fur babies. I can't wait to meet yours!:) I am a stay at home mom. I'm free most of the time except when I need to pick up my kid's from school. But for the most part I'm vary flexible! I have a partial fenced in yard. I do leash time. I have 3 dog's that love to play! I also have chickens and cat's and a few other small animals. I love going for walks and being outside so I will be with your fur baby the whole time and make sure there safety is number one.

The exact days vary from week to week, and I typically receive my schedule the week prior. Because of this, my availability can shift — but I’m always happy to coordinate and work with you to find the best times for visits or extended care. The rest of my week is dedicated to pet sitting, which gives me plenty of flexibility for daily check-ins, longer stays, and multi-visit days. Whether you have a friendly dog, a cozy-at-heart cat, or a unique companion with feathers, scales, or tiny paws, I provide care right in your home where your pet feels safest. About: I’ve been around and caring for, all kinds of animals my entire life. Nearly all the animals in my life have been rescued, namingly, cats and dogs coming from all different walks of life. I have experience across the board with all different breeds, ages, needs and disabilities when it comes to both cats and dogs. I love interacting with new dogs (and breeds) and I find it hard not to pet a new kitty! I have experience issuing medications, treats, or dealing with wound care if needed, crating, scheduling for behaviors ie: potty breaks, walks, etc.. I love to hike and walk, so taking your dog (or cat) for a walk is right up my alley, weather permitting per owner preferences. Right now, I am a full-time psychology student and I can work from any location. My two cats are strictly indoors. However, my dogs are crated indoors when in suits (they are large dogs). We live in town, whenever they are taken outdoors, they are taken on a leash and when they are taken for a walk, they are also taken by a leash. Both dogs are seniors and prefer the indoors, so they’re mostly house dogs at this point. We have an upstairs and a downstairs in our home. Since our dogs are getting older, we now have dog beds placed in multiple places, since the stairs are getting difficult. As for the cats, they have multiple cat trees, several toys, multiple cat boxes and more than one eating station throughout the house! They may be pets but they are family!
About: I’ve had family pets as long as I can remember, cats and dogs. Currently have the chillest cat I’ve ever seen. The whole family loves animals. I work as a teacher. Weekends are always open. Summer is completely open, home anytime. Great yard for animals to play, no backyard neighbors either 1/2 acre yard. About: I’ve had big and small dogs all my life. I’ve watched puppies and have done senior care. All dogs are different and i’m well adaptable. I work part time and get off at 2 at the latest. About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
