She sent daily updates, checked in about any concerns, and was very thoughtful when my dog didn’t want to eat the first day — which is normal for her in new environments. I also appreciated the time she took to have us come over beforehand so we could meet her and her dogs and make sure it was a good fit. She was responsive, caring, and clearly experienced with dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and would absolutely recommend her to others.”

“Lindsey always does a wonderful job for our 2 cats and turtle. We have one very lovey cat and another scaredy cat. She gives as much love and space as they each need. Then, she always does some playing with our turtle to keep him active. We love her and recommend her when we hear someone needs a pet sitter.”
“Callie did great with our kitten! Her updates included good info and we enjoyed all the photos sent as well. Unfortunately our kitten had an accident on her and the floor and despite this she managed it well and cleaned up the area well for us too (we could not tell where it even happened).”
“Jade took great care of Luna and Casper Kitty while they boarded with her. Both cats were comfortable and well looked after the entire time. She communicated with me daily and sent photos, which was so reassuring. I felt very confident leaving them in her care and would happily book Jade again!”
“Brittney was awesome with my cats! She was available on short notice, and even though the booking was for a short duration, the boys warmed up to her immediately! She sent lots of pictures and kept me updated the entire time. I would recommend Brittney to everyone looking for a kind, caring, and attentive sitter!”

“Hannah house sat and watched our two cats while we were on a 10-day trip to Alaska. She took the time to do a meet and greet before our trip, and her passion for animals was apparent from the moment we met her. She was so attentive and communicative, and we felt confident both our home and our two kitties were very well cared for while we were away. She even sent pics and video updates. When we got home, she had left a list of everything she had completed prior to our return (when plants were last watered, when cats were last fed, when/what house cleaning tasks completed, etc). She was so professional and went above and beyond to make our first Rover experience a positive one. We would highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a house and/or pet sitter! Thank you, Hannah! :)”

About: Hi! I'm Jade, an experienced animal caregiver who believes every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and care. 🐾 I don't believe pet care should be one-size-fits-all. Every animal has its own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable. I'm comfortable caring for dogs and a variety of small animals, including rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, and other companion animals. Please note: I do not offer in-home cat sitting in my own home. I do offer drop-in visits and house-sitting visits at your home, where I am happy to care for your cats and other pets while you're away. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, companionship, or someone to stay with them while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience and care I would want for my own animals. I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful. My goal is to give you peace of mind by following your instructions carefully, maintaining your pets' normal routines as much as possible, and keeping you updated throughout their care. I'm dependable, patient, observant, and attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or routine. Your pets' safety and well-being come first. Have a pet that isn't a dog or cat? Ask me! I especially enjoy helping families who have animals that can be more difficult to find experienced care for. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and become someone you can trust whenever you need a helping hand! 🐶🐱🐭🐰🐹🦎🐦🐠🐾 cpr and heimlich trained I'm happiest when I'm spending time with 6 dogs at a time lol it's so much fun! I don't have space to take more than one large dog or 2 small dogs at a time but someday I will! I am working on getting fencing for my yard! I only let 1 dog out at a time. I follow owners feeding schedule. I chart every feeding, drink of water that i see, and every potty break. I send updates daily and am well educated on how to calm an anxious dog!
“Katelynn made our first experience with Rover so easy. Leaving a new puppy with someone for the first time can be stressful but Katelynn sent us photos of our girl warming up and settling in. She has so much knowledge and experience with pets and things went so smooth we already have our next sitting scheduled.”
“Jennifer gave Roxie breakfast and dinner every day. I think my dog liked to play with kids and other dogs. They have a big yard, so she enjoyed in the yard. I think she had a good time there. I would like to use that dog care when we go to Rochester. Thank you very much!!”
“Michelle was great! She helped me out with a last minute request. Arlo had a great time staying at her place. I would definitely recommend boarding with her! Thank you so much Michelle :)”
“Matt and Angela took great care of my dog Osi! Osi and their dog, Alfie, had so much fun together. Osi is definitely looking forward to his next play date. Highly recommend Matt and Angela!”
“Rhea was so sweet & accommodating when our drop off time changed. Her communication was really wonderful- she kept me posted on how Luna was doing during her stay & responded quickly. Thanks so much!”
About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. So whether it be house sitting with the animals or simply doing some walking or activities, I don't mind and will enjoy my time with them. Its something I enjoy as one of my hobbies. I am available during the week days. Every other weekend I work night shift at this time. I enjoy play time with pets because they too have different personalities. Love Dogs. We cuddle mostly and play. Take walks outside. Play fetch with their toys. It's cool to go to the backyard and be socialable with nature. I think it helps with sensory awareness.

“Incredibly accommodating, as Mayo was not. David worked around our ever changing and opaque interactions with Mayo. The care was so attentive I am not sure our pooch was ready to leave. We have never boarded our (abused) rescue dog and David’s care made this part of our Rochester experience absolutely calming and care free. If I could give seven stars I would and I am sure our dog would agree. Job well done. Thank You”
“My dog and I had a great experience with Scott and Jennifer! I unexpectedly needed to travel to Rochester for the day from Minneapolis and Scott and Jennifer were extremely responsive and able to accommodate a last minute booking for my 13 week old puppy and sent me lots of videos and photos of their adventures throughout the day. Would definitely recommend and use again next time I am in the area!”
About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.
“Gilman's experience with Erica was outstanding!! He has tons of energy and she knew how to keep him busy. He was showing some obnoxious behaviors when we got to her house. She was so understanding and just knew how to keep him busy and get him tired out. She shared photos with me through texting which allowed for reassurance on this first time experience for me. I highly recommend Erica and we will be visiting again! Thanks for everything Erica (and all)”

“Ruby had a great time with this sweet family. Kyle was very responsive and sent lots of pictures for us to see while we were away. She came home seeming to have good energy, which tells me she was happy there. Thanks for caring for our fur baby! Hope we meet again!”

“Emma was great with communication and I felt comfortable leaving Avena in her care. Clearly Avena had a great day because she’s been napping on and off since I picked her up 😂 thank you, Emma, for taking care of my girl ☺️”
“Brooke did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Bruno. He’s a large German Shepherd and can be pretty anxious in new situations, but she handled him with patience and care. She clearly knows what she’s doing and took extra time to make sure he was comfortable. She also kept me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciated. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with him again.”
“Charity took great care of my dog while I was away! She sent daily updates and photos, and was always quick to respond to any messages. My pup was clearly happy and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Charity to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter and I would gladly leave my dog with her again!”
“Osito had a blast with Sheryl and her son. She has a big yard and my big dog loved it. She sent us videos of them playing outside which he loved. I wanted more vids and pics, but she stayed in touch enough that I didn’t ever worry. I will rebook for our next trip!”
“They were great!! Really quick response times, sent updates, kept our dog safe and healthy! We will definitely have Trev & Lex watch Nelli again! So glad we had them take care of her!”
